I scheduled an appointment on the website for the same day for a slow draining shower however due to some unexpected issues Brandon couldn't get to me which was not a problem so I scheduled an appointment next day early morning. Brandon at Conejo Valley Rooter was the FOURTH professional plumber we had try to fix our issue, so to all of you reading this, just save yourself the trouble we went through and call him FIRST. If there was a way to give more than five starts I would. He absolutely saved us... so much so that when I paid him, I literally wrote in the memo of the check "Thank you for saving our asses!". What started as a blocked upstairs toilet a few days ago had turned into a nightmare of water cascading into the kitchen below. Other plumbers had come out and claimed to fix it, only for the problem to come back even worse. Brandon attacked the problem in a very different way, and I've never seen someone work so hard. He absolutely refused to give up, and kept rethinking the problem. After hours of intense work and problem solving, he did it, and successfully cleared what he called (and I saw on the cameras) "the worst soft blockage I've seen in thirty years". After all that, he even stuck around to diagnose and advise on a second issue - and rather than suggesting the most expensive solution (as others had) he had great advice that saved me a TON of headache and money. It's very hard to find someone who not only knows what they're doing, but also works with such incredible determination, honesty, and pride in their work. I woke SuperBowl Sunday about to get into some cooking for the game and the word in the Kitchen was, the sink is backed up, and nothing is draining. Now me being the DIYer that I am, I think, no prob, Ill get out my handy drain snake and drill this clog into oblivion. When my 25 foot snake didn't work, I tried out my power blaster that hooks up to my pressure washer. Well, the last time I used this thing, I had my gas pressure washer that has since gone into the abyss and the new pressure washer I have now is too lightweight, so my hopes of getting my ribs on the cooker were dashed again. Now there are times that I am stubborn, and in a normal situation I would probably take a few more tries at this bugger before throwing in the towel. But it was SB Sunday and 90 minutes until kickoff. I had ribs to smoke... So I hit my favorite review site YELP to find a plumber that doesn't watch football. The first three I called were not working today, and no one is available today and I started to panic a bit and started thinking about contingencies. In a last ditch effort, I see Conejo Valley Rooter. What appealed to me was that I could text and get an answer quickly. I asked, are you working today? With a worried emoji. I got an answer back within seconds that said, "We are always working!" I'm telling you there may have never been a sweeter text ever received. This message created a humming in my ears that sounded like angels from heaven... When I explained the situation, a 60-90 time starting estimate turned into Tatiana had her Guy Brandon was over to my house within 20 minutes of my first text. Not gonna lie, it was a little touch and go at first, is it gonna work? Is he gonna have pull out the big guns? Cmon Brandon! With some snaking further and further under the house, finally the sucker unclogged and I ran water through the drain successfully. There are few things that strike fear in a person and clogged drains with people coming over is one major one. Luckily I averted this Super Bowl Sunday Sheet Show, and I have CVR to thank! It is nice to know that I can depend on CVR, with Tatiana and Brandon to be there for me when I need them. Even if it is with reluctance and having to swallow my pride because I had been bested by this nasty clog. I was so thankful, I referred them the next day to my Friend Aaron who needed a reliable referral. So use CVR with confidence. They came through in the clutch when I needed them. Made the problem go away quickly and affordably - when they could have charged extra for the weekend emergency visit and didn't - that says a lot about these two that they care about their clients. We realized that our exterior drain system needed some attention after last summer's "Hurriquake" event. With the impending El Nino winter, we wanted to get the system inspected and cleaned out and started researching the best services in the area. In an age of flaky, unreliable services, Brandon provides old-school, thorough services for a reasonable price. He was punctual, thorough, easy and pleasant to work with, cleaned up after the work was done, and most important was DILIGENT in troubleshooting the situation and getting to the root cause (bad pun) of the issue and FIXED IT. I use Yelp often to help chose contractors and I normally read nearly all the reviews, knowing that some people complain about silly things. I used Yelp to help select Conejo Valley Rooter with three problems at a property where I help with construction projects. We had one drain hydrojetted followed by a camera to find a likely broken pipe. They did find where the pipe failed but completely missed all the damage in the rest of the pipe, (approx 100'). Our other two projects were to use epoxy to fix a leaking wall drain, one appears to be fixed, the other was not. We were told the work came with a warranty, but learned the warranty would only be valid if we spent a large sum more to add more epoxy. Needless to say, I'm disappointed and would not recommend using this contractor. read more

First of all, I'm really not sure what's up with Yelp's algorithms that so many of Brandon's good reviews are folded / "not recommended." Brandon is a great plumber and I'm so glad that I called him for help. Last week, both of my kitchen sinks were clogged. One side of the sink had dirty water coming up whenever I turned on the garbage disposal. I reached out to a few plumbers on Yelp, and Brandon responded within minutes. I initially went with someone else, and they couldn't fix either of my sinks. They erroneously told me that I had cracks in my kitchen pipes and I needed to get my pipes replaced - that would cost at least thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars!! Brandon followed up on Yelp since I didn't respond to him initially, and came in to check on the sinks. He was able to fix both of my kitchen sinks within an hour! The price he quoted is also very competitive. He also takes Venmo which makes things a lot easier (cash is such a hassle.) Next time if I need help I would definitely call Brandon. read more

A long story of past plumber who had broken off a snake-type tool and caused blockage for years. We have been told by several others that it could not be removed without thousands of dollars in refitting. Our sink finally clogged completely and I called CVR. Brandon arrived immediately and would not give up until he took out about 6' of metal that had been stuck. He was unbelievably good. When our usual plumber was unavailable for 72 hours, we needed someone to unclog our master bathroom toilet. Conejo sent someone out the next day. The professional fixed the issue and told us to use CLR liquid in the tank to help clean the lime and rust. It seemed to work. Juan and Brandon answered me right away when I called for a plumbing issue with my kitchen sink. I had already had another company coming to take a look at the sink and they gave me advice on what to ask the other plumber. Anywho the other plumber had no idea what he was doing so I called Brandon and he had Juan out very quickly to come fix what the other company's plumber couldn't. Juan is super smart!
