I have a 1955 VW sedan. The paint was in fair shape and the car needed some minor body work. I asked Conner to paint the outside and inside and repair any body problems. Conner did an EXCELLENT job. The car was originally black. I wanted to change the color to a medium dark grey so it would look period color correct. There was no problem doing the color change both inside and out. This review is a longgg time coming. I have been going to Conner's for coming up on four years now, ever since purchasing my first new car. I guess you can say it's been one of those "cursed cars" that you hear about. Maybe some user error thrown in there too. ;-) In any case, my car has been damaged a few+ times and each time Conner makes it look brand spankin' new. I am always amazed and a bit perplexed at his ability. To add to his incredible craft, he has amazing customer service and always strives to use only the best parts in your car. My side view mirror recently had a run in with the garage door frame and the frame won. After shrugging off my embarrassment, I released the limp, dangling remnant and called Conner. Can I give six stars? Conner has been fixing my mistakes (well, just my car mistakes) since the early 2000's, and every time, it's been "Well, what did you do? It looks brand new?" This most recent fix, took the cake and I just have to write a review. He managed to turn around a crashed 2012 FJ Cruiser, a car that is no longer sold in the US since 2017, in 2.5 weeks over the holidays, because we had to have it in order to travel. He did this perfectly, despite national backlogs on not just the back window, but other parts. Conner's Body Shop restored my 1970 240Z about six years ago. The restoration process took a total of two years, and the car is as beautiful today as when it rolled out of the body shop. The previous owner was the individual who worked first hand with Conner, and when I bought the vehicle I was made note of this. I later visited Conner to get a bottle of touch up paint and he recognized the car right off the bat and welcomed me into his shop. He took the time to explain to me the restoration process and history of the car and find me the super rare custom paint code. They are definitely a reliable and friendly bunch, and the fact that I had no previous affiliation with him made it even more surprising that he'd spend time with me. Eh...I'll be honest.The guy Conner is a stand up guy and good at what he does...but also cocky ass hell! It's all said in the way he talks when you ask for a quote.He's experienced and also expensive!! There are plenty of shops that still exist that are top notch in the San Jose Bay Area not trying to take an arm and a leg for quality work.I will look elsewhere.I get you get what you pay for but they just come off cocky and over rated! read more

I have known Conner for around 5 years now, but have never had the opportunity to first hand experience his service until recently. My dad backed up his car into a pole and took out the side/rear panel. The insurance company gave him some random choices for taking the car to get fixed, but I insisted that he try Conner's. And we were glad we did. From dropping off the car - Conner met us at the curb and walked us through the entire process and outlined what he needed to do to fix the car properly, and gave us his price quote right then. He also worked directly with the insurance company, so my dad did not have to go back and forth and worry about that piece of the process at all. When we got the car back - it was honestly as good as new. I know everyone says that, but you honestly could not remotely tell that body panels has been replaced and that other scratches and dings were repaired. The paint and finish matched perfectly. Then to top it off.... about a month after the transaction was complete and the car was delivered back to us, Conner approached me and gave me some money to give back to my father. It turned out that some items were paid for work that didn't need doing on the car and Conner stepped up and returned the money. When have you ever worked with a business owner that does that? High ethical standards. Great costumer service. Highest quality workmanship. What else could you possibly ask for from your body shop? Hopefully I never need his services anytime soon, but if I do, I would not hesitate to take my car (or my loved one's cars) back to Conner to fix. read more

i came to Conner's body shop after recommend by my insurance agent,my new truck's front right fender took some damage recently and I needed it repaired. no major drivability problems but it wasn't aesthetically appealing. coincidentally, the following day I had off for a doctor's appointment, so I brought it in for an estimate then (Friday). Conner's gave me an estimate on time and price, and seemed very friendly, outgoing, and most of all honest. since it's just him working here, he said to call back the next week (on Wednesday) to see about his schedule. I did, and he said he could fit me into the garage on the following Monday. brought it in at 6 AM, right when he opens; got it back Thursday afternoon. he did a FANTASTIC job, definitely. I would highly recommend any one who is looking for one less thing to stress about after a car accident to go to Conner's. I had front corner bumper damage with a missing light housing frame. I went to Conners Body Shop for an estimate. Conner provided a reasonable estimate, but took it one step further. He buffed out my bumper to see if it was acceptable to me and voila! One small scratch that I can live with and save me $$$'s. A Trusted Body Shop I own two classic Mustangs and several other cars (I have three teenagers) so I have more experience than I would like with body shops. Conner's Body Shop was recommended to me by a friend to paint one of my Mustangs after another shop botched the paint job. I couldn't have been happier with Conner's work. Since then Conner has done ten more repairs for me. Most were done through insurance, a few were not. He always does a good job in a timely manner and I trust his judgment. I like having Conner on my side for insurance work. My insurer is State Farm and Conner is not on their "Select Service" list of shops. State Farm implies that this is a bad thing, but from experience, I have learned that this is actually better for me as a consumer. Conner is there to represent my interest in getting the best repair possible on an insurance claim. He can convince the insurance adjuster that a new panel is required instead of just bondo-ing the old one. I have a feeling a "Select Service" shop would go the cheaper route in order to save the insurer money. For non-insurance work, Conner has worked with me to get a satisfactory repair at a good price. I have a long list of auto repair facilities that have disappointed me over the years and a very short list of places I trust. Conner's Body Shop is definitely on my list of trusted shops. read more
