Love love love this vet! The wait is never long, prices are fair, parking is convenient and the care is genuine. One of my cats was losing weight and after taking her in, we found out she has hyperthyroidism; who knew that was a thing in cats?! They got her on medication and now manage that care. Bad untrustworthy "vet." I took my dog here due to an emergency. Needed surgery. Was told was the issue was and when the surgery started it was another issue and they couldn't do anything. Of course they still decided to try to charge the full amount. Only thing is one of their employees clearly had some sense to try to bring the price down about a thousand, but I was still left owing thousands on a surgery that was never really performed. My dog was under anesthesia, cut open, and stitched back up for a couple thousands dollars. How does that make sense? Very new and untrained seem vets work here. I was not made to feel welcome here. I was able to pay 75% of the owed amount and I'm still owing, but they sent it to collections anyways. Wow. So I get to lose my dog and they're gonna try to mess up my life further because I'm tight on money. This place is an absolute joke. read more

My dog Autumn was diagnosed with pancreatitis today. She's very ill. The care she received today was outstanding. The staff from front office, to back office and of course her vet Dr Patel were extremely supportive and explained everything from start to finish. Autumn is extremely fearful and her tech Serena made feel comfortable enough to receive the care she needed. I have always received great care from my kiddos but my stress today was off the chats and they put me at ease also. We were referred from another clinic for emergency services. Our baby girl was attacked by 2 dogs and not doing well. We drove 45min across town and got seen right away. The place was clean, quiet and peaceful. They took the time to look her over and discussed all her options. With my old man Kone, they give him the gentle approach he needs and understand when I tell them how dramatic he is. With my cats they go above and beyond to ensure each experience is a positive one. I used to look highly to this location but the people they hire are not very friendly, i feel like I was taken advantage of at my last visit here when i had to drive over 35 minutes to get here to get my pet seen, after explaining what I thought was wrong with my pet and after waiting 20 minutes over my scheduled appointment they told me they were fine and sent me off. We brought dog Sugars a 14-year-old, 8-pound pom mix for routine blood check. When they brought sugars back to us after the routine visit, they handed the dog back to my son and Sugars was not looking good. But, thanks to Sabrina's quick response noticing that Sugar's was not looking good when they brought him out, she immediately alerted Dr. Brown and assistant Kim and they whisked Sugar's back and started emergency oxygen and fluids and monitoring him constantly. We still can't figure out why just a routine procedure took him to such an almost fatal ending. But, with the amazing constant care of Dr. Brown's team, Sugar's is now doing well. Alot of tears was shed that day but we can say that we are so happy that we still have our little boy. read more

Wry pleased with the team at Continental Ranch Pet Clinic. Over Memorial Day weekend I noticed my girl wasn't acting right and she was in sooo much pain. Understandably so, all get offices (except for emergency rooms) we're closed on Monday for Labor Day. Tuesday morning beginning at 8 am, my husband and I collectively called 20 plus vet offices including where we take her and none were able to get us in before late June-early July. Finally one office we called (I don't recall which office) recommended we call ContinentalRanch. When I called we were greeted politely and asked to explain what was going on. Note: no other vet office even asked what was wrong with our girl, just said they had no openings. Once I explained, they said they could get us in at 1130 that morning. They just asked for a very reasonable fee of $85 to be used towards the appointment. Everything is still curbside which is fine. After they took our girl back, Dr. Brown came out and explained the examen and options. They advised to take X-rays it should be about an hour so we would be able to go run errands and they would call once she was ready. Less than an hour passed and they were done. They brought her back out to our car and we're very patient in explaining the medication doses and aftercare. A few days passed and our girl was not improving and refusing medication so I called and spoke with Dr. Brown again who spoke with me and went over the X-ray results and options for treatment. We were faced with the option of having to lay our girl to rest due to her rapidly declining health and how much pain she was in. This was a rough decision I didn't want to make, but Dr. Brown compassionately explained the process and helped me make the best decision for our girl. We were scheduled an appointment that same afternoon. The whole team was great in treating me with such compassion during this rough time. We received her cremated remains back in just a few days. When she was delivered to our car, we were also handed some flowers which shows just how much the team cares. I was so pleased with them and how they treated us and most importantly our girl. I do not regret having to take the car drive out to them (we live southwest Tucson) And am so thankful they were able to help us out in our time if need read more

I have a sweet little red teacup poodle that was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Needless to say he has spent many full days at the vet to do the sugar curve testing to get him regulated with insulin. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS MONEY HUNGRY PLACE! They do NOT care about your animal, JUST MONEY!!! Dr Dimitri Brown told me that my cat had Diabetic Ketoacidosis and that he needed hospitalization. Quoted me $450 just for labs. Then $775 for just a few hours of hydration, and insulin. I asked him for lower cost SubQ hydration and he said that he needs IV hospitalization. He said that my cat needed it or he may not make it to Thursday. I took my cat to South AZ vet hospital the next day who specializes in Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Found out he doesn't even have it and Dr. Dimitri Brown misdiagnosed him! The vet at SAVS gave him SubQ hydration and he is doing much better! My cat is himself again! And it only cost me $435 including labs! read more

No smile, no eye contact, no greeting, no "I'll be with you in a moment.", no "How can I help you." I was completely invisible to this young lady. After waiting for a few minutes, I decided to walk out. I'm trying to understand why I was treated so rudely, was it the way I was dressed?, the color of my skin? Did I look like I was panhandling? Regardless, I am a human and should have been treated with respect. My first impression of your business today was not a good one. I have been very impressed with this vet clinic! I have used them twice now. Once to get two tumors cut off and an infection treatment for my 17 year old mutt named chewy. They took such great care of him and he was completely healed in 10 days and happier than ever. What great service and a wonderful value, only costing me less than $200. Sadly I had to use them a couple weeks ago ( several months from my last visit) when I found chewy when I came home with tremendous pain and unable to walk. I knew it was his time for his long walk into the woods. When I called frantic and upset they told me to come in and they would help me. They waited for my husband to come home so that we both could be there, staying much later than they normally would. They were so wonderful, caring, and helped chewy with his pain. I had to write a review when yesterday I received a very thoughtful card in the mail from all the staff. It touched me deeply. Brought my cat in yesterday for gi symptoms and lethargy. They only perform X-rays for imaging which is pretty standard for regular hour vet offices. One would think that the medical staff would become proficient at reading X-rays and discerning basic differences between fluid and gas. I was told my cats stomach "was full of gas and retained food". However, upon discharge a few hours later he actually vomited a large foreign body. Foreign body was never discussed as a differential diagnosis. The doctor was preliminarily diagnosing my cat with chronic illness, liver disease/possible hyperthyroidism. Considering that foreign body ingestion by felines is not only somewhat common but can also be life threatening, I would hope that a veterinarian with nearly 10 years licensed and experienced would be able to discern such an issue. That wasn't the case with our visit. I feel like coming here wasted precious valuable time that could have been better spent in proper care. Also, when referencing emergency care, she fear-mongered emergency care pricing. As a tucson resident and professional, know approx. prices of what you're referring to, don't exaggerate the price x4. Although this doctor seemed to also struggle with straightforward answers when questioned about the diagnosis/cause/prognosis of feline conditions. Definitely had an authoritative way of answering questions; she did not like me asking questions and even asked me, "what's your background?" As if that was relative to the questions about my cat's care. Since the focus was on a possible chronic illness (which later was ruled out), when inquiring about possible causes to such conditions, she relied heavily on gaslighting tactics in her answers. Denied diet could be contributing factor to chronic Illness as well (we have evidence in humans and animals that this is a factor). Maybe this place is okay for routine vaccinations and well visits, but if your pet is acutely sick, don't waste your time here. You'll leave with conflicting discharge instructions and end up spending more of your money elsewhere anyways. read more

Pepper, a sweet, 1 year old stray wandered into our lives last February. We adopted her, even though we knew she was pregnant. She gave birth to two kittens, only one of them survived. We named him Mickey. Neither of us has ever owned cats and knew nothing about them. We took Pepper in for a check up, and also because of a skin problem on her face. We were very pleased with Dr. Debra Stratton and her staff. They put us at ease immediately. They were very professional and down to earth. We've been taking Mickey in for his checkup and shots. Their main goal is to upsell pet owners who care so deeply for their pets they will pay any price to save them. I took my dog there for a minor ear infection, nail clip and rabies shot. I was told my puppy was too excitable and couldn't get a proper sample from ear to diagnose what type of infection he had, really? My trusted vet in IL had the experience to diagnose a common ear infection without using an expensive test. Said they couldn't clip nails because he was too excited. Then I was told my puppy has a heart murmur and should be further tested, what?!! All this while I sit in the car, not face to face. I'm charged for a test to determine ear infection was bacterial, hmmm what a surprise. But wait, they just told me they couldn't get an ear sample unless I bring my puppy back on doggie downers (that they also sell) at which time they could get sample and clip nails. When I confront Dr. about all this nonsense upsell, my puppy suddenly no longer has a heart murmur, they were miraculously able to get an ear sample without drugging him up, administered a vaccine and handed me a nearly $300 invoice and no nail clip. There are many vets who truly care about your pets, this vet's main concern is to profit from your pets misfortune. However, I read they do send flowers if your pet dies on their watch, just a marketing ploy to get your next pets business. I recommend you stay away unless your pockets are deep. read more

Dr. Stratton has taken care of all of my childhood dogs, so there was no question of who I would count on to look after my own pup as an adult. I recently adopted a rescue dog and after a trip to the beach in Rocky Point, the poor gal came home a mess with skin and eye infections. I called the Vet and they were able to get us in that afternoon and provided the right Meds and shampoo to get my pup looking and feeling great within just a couple days! They even called to follow up with me to see how she was doing and to ask if I had any questions. Everyone in the office is friendly, definite animal-lovers and incredibly patient. read more
