Baked haddock much better than the salmon.

Saturday my wife and I decided to go back to the Continental to try the weekend buffet. We arrived just after 1 pm as the lunch rush was slowing. Everything looked to be refilled with only the prime sushi showing signs of shortages. I miss some of the good choices to a customer before me who "loaded up" leaving only the rolls behind. Luckily the sushi chef came back and started restoring the sushi section while I cruised the hot food. Best of the hot food were the ribs, fried chicken wings, chicken teriyaki and baked haddock. The steak and rib eye beef were alright as long as you grabbed them when they came out. Cold shrimp were okay. Our total bill with ice water came to $55. The staff were friendly enough but tended to be distracted. My wife was very happy finding the hard ice cream section! All in all better than expected. So if you shopped the selections you can get your money's worth.

    Delicious food

Had a wonderful time tonight at the Continental Restaurant! My sister turns 65 on Tuesday so I took her out for Mai Tais and appetizers - we didn't get the buffet because we weren't that hungry. The food was excellent - we got Peking Raviole - pan fried - and the best I ever had! And an appetizer platter that consisted of yummy chicken wings, boneless spare ribs, and chicken and beef teriyaki ! Everything was delicious including the Mai Tais - strong just the way I like them! Our waitress Jasmine was excellent - very professional and friendly - she was happy to answer our questions. I hadn't been here since Yangste closed but I can say that I will definitely be back. We had a great time!! Thank you!

1st visit since opening. Smelled weird inside of restaurant. Mediocre foods. No difference from great buffet in Newington. Don't think I'm coming back.

If you need a quick lunch or dinner this is ok at best. Might be good for families with kids as there is plenty to choose from. Don't make this a date night!

While it looks appeasing, there was literally zero flavor in the whole plate.

Owner treats customers as an inconvenience rather than a guest. Service is slow. Drinks are good but smallest in town.

This place is the best we've been to outside of Massachusetts. Attentive service. Hot food and dessert bar is to die for.

I visited for take out by the pound which was not available but I peeked at the excellent selection any way.

My wife and I did start out with fried pickles for an appetizer which came out piping hot but lacked any seasoning or much flavor. Entree wise my wife got the loaded chicken nachos and I got the spicy chicken sandwich. My wife very much enjoyed the nachos and chicken, all cooked very well. The chicken sandwich was solid but in the world of many chicken sandwiches I have had a few that are more stand out. Overall though minimal complaints about the food, and I suspect their pizzas are outstanding. Our real complaint would come down to the service which really was a lack of service. A host sat us right away and it took minimal time to place orders for drinks and food. Also not an absurd amount of time waiting for drinks or food. It was the fact from the time we placed our food order we did not see our server again til we finished eating and waiting around 10 minutes after for a to-go box and check. It's been a very rare occurrence for us but the service experience truly made us feel invisible. Not a single time during eating did we get asked how our food was, if we needed anything additional. Mind you while they were not our server multiple workers walked by us many times taking care of other tables while we sat waiting for the check and also once we did want to pay our check as well. This was also at the point it really started to clear out and was by no means busy. We had tasty food but the lack of service really soured our experience. I would say if you want to check them out for their food it should be pretty good and hopefully your service is a better experience than ours!

This was our first visit on a Saturday evening and we were glad we made reservations as it was packed yet still maintained a great atmosphere. Our male server Burak was very attentive, professional, and very friendly. We ordered the Lavash with the mixed appetizer - tabouli, Mediterranean salsa, hummus, and Haydari. Chicken and Beef Kabobs as our entrees. Their signature cocktail Istanbul Peach Martini and a glass of Autorotas Sauvignon Blanc. As always the Lavash was amazing as was the Kabobs. The Kabobs came with a scoop of white rice, potatoes and a great salad with no lettuce, just marinated tomatoes. Cucumber, onion with herbs.

They got the beef kabob and shrimp sauté. All excellent. I preferred the pistachio baklava. The Turkish cookies were tasty - a bit too sweet for me. It is in the old train station on the border of Maine and NH. The lighting is comfy and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The time between the meal and dessert was a bit delayed as our server seemed to forget about us. The first time I went there I ordered the falafel wrap -delish!
