I cannot say enough wonderful things about Conti's! They deserve 5 stars plus plus! The cake they created for my son's college graduation celebration on July 11, 2026, was absolutely breathtaking. It became the centerpiece of the celebration, and everyone was impressed--including the staff at the venue. I proudly shared Conti's information with them because they kept asking where such an incredible cake came from. They even told me it was the first cake they had ever seen that left such an amazing impression. As beautiful as the cake looked, it tasted even better. It was incredibly delicious, moist, and perfectly balanced--not overly sweet like so many cakes can be. Every single guest raved about it. By the end of the evening, there wasn't a single slice left to take home! I also want to recognize the wonderful staff at Conti's. From the moment I placed my order, they were professional, patient, courteous, and genuinely interested in making sure every detail was exactly as I envisioned. Their customer service was exceptional. My future daughter-in-law recommended Conti's, and I am so grateful she did. I have absolutely no regrets. They exceeded every expectation and helped make my son's graduation celebration even more memorable. If you're looking for a bakery that combines stunning presentation, outstanding taste, and exceptional customer service, look no further than Conti's. I highly recommend them and will definitely be returning for future celebrations!

I love this pastry shoppe!! The desserts are delicious. I had the strawberry cheesecake crunch cake. The cheesecake was fresh. The crust was delicious and they give you a large portion. It was around $8-$9. I've also had the speciality pumpkin cheesecake donut and those were delicious too. 10/10 recommend.
Pros: I ordered a custom cake for my gender reveal. The flavor was great and the cake was moist everyone enjoyed it. It was funfetti with dulce de leche moose. I've had other cookies from here, my favorite are the fruit filled. Their caramel tres leche is a must have for me. Cons: I had to wait a long time for pick up, but overall the service was great as long as you remember to take a ticket from outside so that they can call your number to be serviced, if not you will wait even longer. The ambiance is nice but a little cramped. For a cake for 25 people it's about $150.
a pound of cookies went from $15 to $22 in a year. I understand the economy is bad, but 10 cookies for $22?? that's highway robbery. I remember when Conties would price the specialty cheesecakes to $30-$35 max. a 12inch pistatchio cheesecake is $46???? i know for a fact the employees dont get paid enough for the price of a cheesecake to increase that dramatically. one of the girls said the pies/cakes are made a week before they're sold, so the price on soon to expire pastries is insane. for $46 dollars I can get a larger and better quality cheesecake in Manhattan. The ladies behind the counter look unhappy and find every request to be inconvenient. this place is definitely ripping you off. UPDATE: I opened the box of cookies for my friend, she reached for the first cookie and as soon as she took a bite, she pulled out a blond hair from the cookie. $22 dollars for cookies full of hair. I'm never going back.
Conti's is a very good bakery. It's very popular. My family sometimes gets things from here. If you are looking for a fancy custom cake, this might really be a five star bakery - their custom cakes look pretty amazing and might be worth sitting in a bunch of traffic (but I've never tried one). They're famous for their Boston Cream Pie, which is very good and is worth trying. The cannoli are very good, but are no better than the cannoli at a bunch of other Italian bakeries and restaurants around New York. This year we also got an apple pie and a pecan pie. Both were perfectly fine, but neither would inspire me to make the trip. Maybe someday I'll try one of the fancy custom cakes. In the meantime, if I'm ever in the mood for Boston Cream Pie, Conti's is at the top of my list. Tip: if you want to get stuff for a big holiday (for example: Thanksgiving), order in advance. And then still be prepared to wait to pick it up. (It took about 40 minutes to pick up our order the day before Thanksgiving.)
I came here today solely based on what I saw on social media . The videos they do certainly work because boy is it busy there ! I pre ordered online because I didn't wanna get there and they're sold out . It was quite a drive with all the holiday traffic . I can honestly say I've never been any where near this bakery . Bronx is a little too far and could be a little intimidating. Anyway I saw a video for the apple pie and pumpkin cheesecake donuts and they looked incredible. I'm not one for cheesecake so I passed on those but I ordered apple pie , apple cider donut a Boston cream and a turkey special donut . So after I tried getting parking for like 20 mins I finally got a spot . As I came down the street I saw the huge line and guessed that must be the place . I thought I could just walk in and give them my name and they pass me the order and I'm out ... no ! You must take a number regardless and wait . I waited about 20 mins not too bad I get it they're very busy . The people there are very nice and are working hard while maintaining a positive attitude. The young girl who helped me had trouble finding my order but someone helped her to find the order . As I left I noticed the line was even longer ! Will I come back ? Maybe but def not before a holiday and if I'm going in that direction. It's a great bakery with an insane selection and good customer service .
They're very expensive, & the quality of their products is below par. Traditional ingredients like whipped cream & custard, are replaced with icing and frosting. Even their coffee, good...but not for the price. Also, if you don't sell bread, you shouldn't advertise as a BAKERY. Dont waste your money here...& why a different price for cash ?
First venturing out to Conti''s. I must say it was a very welcoming experience. The staff here are well versed on the goods they sell. Also, knowledgeable on how to customize your fit/need. These team here are the professionals making it do what it do! As soon as you walk in. You smell the deliciousness of what a bakery should smell like. The place is clean and they serve hot and cold beverages. They even have freshly squeezed OJ! I forgot to grab one. This is a neighborhood staple. If you're even in the neighborhood...GET SOME!!!
Stopped by 1 of my selicious bakeries in the Bronx. The famous Conti's.nyummy strawberry Napoleon cake.. an bx their delicious coffee. Servise is good. Quick too. They set up seating outside, no tables just seats. I sat out ate my dessert and had my coffee. Awesome breeze. Perfect amount of sun. Cons: the male population that visit, pretty much sit outside to smoke 15 cigarettes. Smoke goes to other customers and their childrens faces and we are forced to intake this nastiness or you can leave and not have the lovely experience. 3 stars because smoking is banned in so many places but not here. Smh My tip: move seating for cancer stick users to another location. We don't want cancer.
Ordering a custom cake couldn't have been easier. The online ordering process was quick and easy. Conti's staff was helpful in answering all of my questions, working within my budget, provided timely responses and accommodating in all of my requests. The custom cake was exactly what I ordered. I couldn't have been more pleased with the process. The chocolate cake with strawberry shortcake filling was YUMMY! The cake was perfectly moist and the filling had just the right amount of sweetness you want in a birthday cake.
I came here from the westchester area to try this tiramisu latte! And as a tiramisu lover, I just had to. Let me say, it did not disappoint! It was delicious, very strong yet with a creamy cold foam that ties it altogether. I hope they keep it on the menu because this would be what keeps me going back

You cannot go wrong here. The prices are reasonable and their cakes are amazing! It was my first time ordering a cake here after a friend recommended it. I wanted a simple white rosette cake for my baby shower and they made one better than the photo I showed them. It was so beautiful! They did such an excellent job but most importantly the cake (strawberry shortcake) tasted exquisite. Everyone kept raving about the cake. Thank you Conti! Worst cake ever! I am a yelper so if I say it's not good it is not. We bought my nephew's bday cake here, it cost us 60 bucks for a cake smaller than a plate and with cracks in it, the flavor is not that even good! We felt that it was rushed, like they did it in an hour! Ill post the picture of the cake here! read more

I ordered a bridal shower cake for my best friend and it was perfect! I was shopping around and found Conti's on Yelp and decided to send an email inquiry. Gianna responded promptly and gave me several options as far as design, flavor and pricing. It was super easy to place my order and when I picked it up it was ready and beautiful!! The cake was well decorated and had great support! (We were moving it in the car and the support was supper sturdy). The best part was when we cut the cake and everyone had such great remarks about the taste. I ordered chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling and fresh strawberries inside. Great experience. Decided to try this local shop after reading all of the great reviews. I have tried Sal and Dom's which I loved and the few that are highly regarded in the Arthur Avenue area was a bit out of the way, I got a canoli and a few cupcakes. The shop is lovely. Nice decoration and ofcourse the smell is amazing upon entering. Lots to choose from including coffee, tea, breakfast pastries, cookies and cakes (both by the piece and whole). The girls behind the counter were excellent. Very patient and helpful. I definitely plan to return to try some other things... read more
Great, friendly service. I went in to order a cake for Christmas Day a week earlier. The girl who attended to me was very friendly and gave me suggestions on what I might like. I went with a 9 inch vanilla buttercream cake with cannoli filling covered with chocolates chip with Christmas designs. The cake was ready by Christmas morning. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I came from out of state & was recommended here by a local family member. We went in only a day in advance & they went above & beyond my expectations. The red velvet cake was so moist & delicious. It did not taste hard or weird because of the fondant area like most cakes. My son loved it & the lady who helped us was so sweet & awesome. I ordered my son's birthday cake and I couldn't be happier. The design was spot on and the taste was so good. I am so happy this bakeshop is in my neighborhood. Thank you for the cake. Conti's came to the rescue! After having an awful experience with Sal and Doms, I called Conti's desperate to replace a custom cake needed for the same day and they not only made it happen, but they replaced it with such a beautiful cake. This was the first time I have been to Conti's and I have to say I was blown away. The cake the girl who helped us recommended was just absolutely delicious. The whole cake went which normally never happens but everyone had a piece as soon as they saw what was inside. All the layers went wonderfully, and the taste was just scrumptious. It is definitely a crowd pleaser and I look forward to getting my next cake here. read more

One of the best places in all of New York City to get all of those traditional Italian pastries you grew up with. The couch and chairs, with the original woodwork, make it a great place to sit back and do a little reading. And of course the staff isn't horrible to look at while being served.... read more

Lovely lovely bakery. Its amazing that I never knew this place existed. My elementary school was right across the street from this place and I lived in the Bronx for 8 years! My boyfriend and I stopped in since I was going down memory lane. We got a dulce De leche cupcake, a giant chocolate chip cookie and a layered brownie. The cupcake was great! The cake alone was well made! The giant cookie was perfectly soft and hard! Haha if tat makes any sense. And the brownie was delicious. I'm not a fan of coconut but my boyfriend loved it. Definitely try this place out! Friendly workers as well. read more

I give this place 3.5 stars. It was definitely a nice cozy place to walk into from the ghettoness of that subway + police station combo in the heart of the Bronx. I'll give Regis credit for loving their Boston Creme Pie. it was pretty amazing - so light and fluffy, yet not too sweet. perfectly complements a black cup of coffee. the canolies were good - they had empty shells and freshly pumped the insides into it (just like at Beard Papa's). the red velvet cupcake was a huge disappointment - dry, too sweet, and the frosting was too sugary. the place was cute and small - they had a tray of free generic sugar cookies and for every cup of cookies you buy, you can grab 2. the coffee was self-serve, sort of like they do at 7-11, so that was a disappointment from such a cute bakery. read more

Ordered a vegan & gluten free red velvet cake to celebrate a friends book release. I am soooo pleased with this cake. It tasted delicious and was so beautiful. They really brought our vision to life with the colors to match the cover of the book. I will definitely be back for future events and just to satisfy my sweet tooth. One star because the order was done. Minus 4 because was quality of the work was absolutely poor! I ordered sugar images from them and this is what I received. There are lines all over the images. I didn't notice it at the counter because it was closing and we all were in a rush, but soon as I got home and looked at I was pissed. I tried to call them and tell them about themselves, but no answer. I know they were closed for business but I was hoping they would answer thinking someone left something. I just can't understand how and why a business with such a reputation for being great would even put something like this out. Im not looking for a refund or nothing because I always prefer quality and thank God I sent my issue to another bakery, (The Food Emporium) of all places and they agreed to place my order LAST MINUTE for tomorrow afternoon pickup at the same price too. I have definitely learned...so sad! Look at what they put out. Black ink running from top to bottom and white from left to right at the bottom...jeezus fixed it. read more

Wow. I just love Conti's pastry shoppe! Every time I have walked in, I have been greeted by the kindest staff and the most delicious smells. The only comparison I can give is that it's the Bronx equivalent of venerios... possibly better. They deliver all of New York City, and on Mother's Day they delivered a Key Lime pie to my family IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC! The driver was so kind and the pie was just so decedent. I forgot to take a picture before it was sliced. Thank you Conti's for providing my family with sweets for the past 5 years. read more

Out of all the bakeries in the Morris park area, Conti's is hands down, the best one. I stumbled in on Father's Day once because sal and doms were sold out of the cakes I wanted. My father is a huge fan of Boston cream anything and this place had one left. Everyone in my family turned out to love it. I recently just came back before writing this to get one more for my grandmother's birthday along with some sugar free cookies she said she enjoyed. In the winter time I believe, they have a Nutella hot chocolate that is perfect and not overly sweet. Their cappuccino's are made perfect from what I've had a few times so far. And the espresso is much better than Starbucks any day. Also, each time I go in, service is quick and the girls are all very helpful and friendly. read more

Fantastic bakery! I have been coming here for a few years now and they have yet to let me down. I discovered them when I needed a cake for my sister's birthday, and then she came for my brother-in-law's birthday cake, and then my cousin came for her daughter's Sweet 16 birthday cake, and again I ordered a cake for my own birthday. Everyone is always really great. I wanted a cake of myself, but a caricature of myself; sent the bakery a pic of what I was thinking, and they did a GREAT job. Plus the cake was sooooo good: chocolate with Nutella, but straight out the jar not the mousse...HOLY SCHOMOLY!! Even the people who are not big on chocolate loved it. Call the number and inquire about delivery and cost to determine if that's something you want to do. It might be cheaper to travel yourself. But the dessert is well worth it
