a man sitting at a table with a tray of food

Nothing special about this place. The burger was good. It's a bare burger and you add toppings, which can get pricey. The trays are an okay price. Nothing was overwhelmingly special though. It was clean inside and the staff were friendly. They weren't thrilled to be working, but they were friendly. Service was good though.

Cheap but good food and a big menu with a lot of fast food options. No line, friendly staff. Again it was cheap and hit the spot but didn't 'stick' and I was hungry shortly after having this lunch time snack. I'll be back if in the area and looking for an inexpensive snack while out shopping.

I looked on the menu before I ordered. I got the Cajun Fries, Cheese Quesadilla, & Peppermint Milkshake. My order was $10.37. Staff were respectful & efficient! Be ready to order!!!

Wow! I am pleasantly surprised at this place! It was my first time here. My dad loves burgers, so I thought I would take him here. It was the closest burger drive-thru at the time. He go the double burger with everything on it making it a messy meal, but it must have been good. He was licking his fingers! (Eww. Lol) And, it was quiet on that side of the table! He even ate the cooked onions that fell out (with a fork, of course!). Haha. Sorry, no pics of his since he dug right in. Guess he was starving. I had the 1/4 lb. burger with cheese, bacon, tomato, and onions. Yum. It was tastier and bigger (thick) than expected. I was expecting a greasy mess of a burger. The onion rings were okay. Real onions, but didn't have much flavor. The chocolate milkshake though. I thought I was turning blue from trying to use the straw they gave me. It definitely is a classic shake and I needed a spoon to start! So chocolate-y good. I tasted the kid's meal chicken tenders that I ordered for my son who fell asleep in his car seat as I pulled into our neighborhood. Thick breading and real chicken makes it a good tender, in my book. It was tasty enough and a good choice for my baby. I don't like to feed him high salt foods. The cheese bites were okay, but I think he will love them. He loves all things with cheese. I'd go back. It was inexpensive and a good meal that filled us up. Nothing super fancy, but just a nice classic-style burger and sides. Easy clean-up and no sweat off my back to grill out in this chilly weather!

Addicted to their Cajun fries!

Service was fast, we love Cookout's food - especially the Cajun fries and the bacon cheeseburger! Our order was hot and fresh and the cashier was polite.

This place is great. If you are looking for something fast and with lots of options, this is your place. I've come here a few times now and each time my experience has been the same. Great customer service, great food, clean environment, and quick service. I've had the burgers and spicy chicken sandwich, both are delicious. I love their slaw and cheese bites. I'm straight up from NYs Canadian border so anytime I can get cheese curds I do. Probably why I'm fat.

Update:::::terrible customer service especially through the drive thru. The ordering process was very bad. The speakers were bad. Common y'all need to upgrade your system. On top of that the drive thru girl on (Saturday, April 14,2018 at 4pm) was a b!tch!! She should not be able to take orders or be in the drive thru in general. I ordered a large cheese fries and I got a small in a large container. I wish I would have snapped a photo. On the brighter side, the corn dogs were good!

The food was very good and it appeared neat and clean. I'd be here several times a week if it was closer for me. Try the barbecue platter.

And their price is decent. Whenever we have friends and family who visits this is our place to go. However. The past 4 times we've been here. It's gone down hill. We kept giving them another chance because hey maybe they were off their game that time. But honestly, after our last visit ( a week ago). Never again will we return. My husband's burger was cold. There wasn't even any warmth to his burger when he took a bite out of it. All of our sodas were FLAT! no carbonation whatsoever. My daughter ordered a lemonade. She then told me to try it. I took a sip. TERRIBLE!! literally tasted like tap water with lemon juice. Just horrible. And disappointing. I don't know what happened to this place. But they really need to fix it. It's so sad that a place that we liked so much has gone down hill so terribly. Service was subpar and restaurant was clean. But their food is awful!

First off everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, it has such a small town diner vibe. Secondly the food was actually amazing. I don't love fried food but the batter they use is light and crispy and nothing was greasy at all you could hardly tell it had been in oil. Their mac and cheese is a little unique but super tasty and has a homemade feeling to it. The catfish had SO much meat on it and the pieces where huge. My husband had the burger and really enjoyed it, I did steal one of his onion rings and can confirm it's probably the best onion ring i've had. I also really enjoyed their sweet tea, it's not too syrupy and has a nice tea flavor. I'm looking forward to coming back and bringing other friends and family here to experience their food!

Very poor quality meat. Considering this is a burger place, not good. On the bright side, the burgers were a good price. I also ordered chicken wings only to find out they didn't have any left. It was very busy around 12:30 mid-day, but I was seated immediately. There is downstairs and an upstairs that looks over the first floor. They have a huge menu. Lots of pub fare. Beer cheese, nachos, various pizzas (tons of combinations, most with lots of meat, and you can create your own). They also have flatbreads (again, several combos, some veggie, some meaty). Entrees include steaks, pork chops, grilled chicken, chicken tenders, salmon, and shrimp tacos. Large selection of sandwiches (turkey, clubs, BLT, reuben, prime rib). And at least 10 different types of burgers. I had the cowboy, made with Monterey Jack, bacon, sautéed onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Huge burger (I only ate half). The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. They have a ton of beers here, and that's what they are known for, so if you're a beer drinker, that's your best bet. They have brunch on the weekends. My server was attentive and kind.
