This fast food joint was clean and cheap. If you are traveling or a local and want something cheap to eat this is a great place to come to. I tried their chilli which was a mush of meat. Sort of spicy but decent. I'd compare it to a southwest style chili without the beans, onions and peppers. It may or may not be to your expectations. Their burgers are fairly close to Wendy's quality and size. I did like the variety of choices to choose from. If you don't want just a burger they have some other good choices like their spicy chicken sandwich. I had it and it was pretty decent. The food is good but your staff. Good gracious they are the worst. She was literally eating her food and not paying attention at the drive thru window. The place is a greasy spoon, they make really good burgers and onion rings, it's about impossible to break $20, I've honestly tried and it's always some arbitrary number like $19.77 or something. The shakes are thick and they have about 74938592 different flavors. read more

First impressions, the staff was extremely inviting. The service was fast, and the woman on the floor talked to guests like family, which I appreciate. As for the food, it was okay. My burger was well done so the burger was just missing its juiciness, and lacked in flavor. I will say that it's a nice break from the big chains, and like I said before, it was fast, which makes it a nice spot to grab a quick lunch. read more

Food was awsome...and an amazing staff. We went through the drive thru and as it was our first time it took a minute to order and the lady was really patient. Then as we were leaving two employees on break in the back smiled and waved at my young son. Wish more businesses around here had such happy friendly employees. The drive thru lady was very rude. Working in the public service, you'd think that the employees would have a better attitude. Service here is terrible. I went to CookOut Restaurant on Wilma Rudolph Blvd, Clarksville TN and placed my orders via the drive-thru window. The young lady that took my orders (per receipt Samantha) was in such a rush that I had to repeat my first order twice and the second order three times and then had to verify it once we got to the window as she didn't repeat it back to me at the drive-thru order screen. Once we arrived at the window there were two young ladies at the window both of seemed very young and impatient and when I asked her to repeat the order she tried to say it so fast that she became tongue tied and had to repeat it yet again. I was given our one drink and three shakes with one straw at which time I asked for a receipt and she advised they don't give receipts for cash transactions only credit card transactions and that a receipt of our order would be on the food. I received our food and pulled away from the window and immediately called the store location to receive the name of the manager so that I could file a complaint in writing to ensure that the situation is handled and after 11 calls to the number listed on google (as there was not one on the receipt) a gentleman answered the phone and I inquired as to who the manager was on duty that evening and he advised which one there are several, I said it doesn't matter who ever is currently over the location he said rudely at this point which one as there are several on this shift, I said fine who is the store manager at which time he advised he was the general manager and when I inquired his name he said it so fast it was difficult to understand and as with previous service from the young ladies at this location I felt as though it was pointless to ask him to repeat it as he was very rude during the conversation. I told him thank you I just needed that information to inquire as to who to file a corporate complaint with and he said Yep and hung up the phone. It is absolutely absurd to expect customers to continue to return to this location if this is the type of service that is to be expected and rendered by a young staff being led by a bad manager. read more

Most disappointing milkshake I've ever had. First of all, it was SO thick, that I was unable to drink it through a straw for almost 45 minutes, and since I was driving, a spoon was not an option. Nothing worse that driving around being taunted by a shake you can't drink. I also ordered extra Oreos in my shake, and it didn't seem like they added any because most of the shake was all ice cream, and no cookies....until I got to the large, unblended pile of cookies at the bottom, which were impossible to consume through a straw. If I wanted a sundae, I would not have ordered a milkshake. Poor attention to detail, I won't be back for another shake. read more

This is the first cook out I've tried, so as always to each their own okay. I think this place is great for milk shakes, but not really anything else. There prices are a little too much for some items on the menu and others seem like you got what you paid for feel. Place was disgusting and disappointing. My husband and i had went in door to eat and at the end of our meal we saw a roach run up the wall behind the bench i was sitting at. As we left my husband threw out our trash and his hand was smashed in the trash flap causing his hand to swell up around his knuckle. we did not say anything to the people inside because my husband just wanted to leave and wanted to avoid anything that would keep us there longer.
