Whenever I'm in Fredericksburg, I'll stop for some Cook Out. Every time I've visited this location, the staff is always pleasant, friendly and polite and today's visit was no different. I went inside to place my order and it wasn't busy so there no line. Inside was clean and orderly. I ordered a bbq tray with a corn dog and walking taco with jalapeños as my sides and a Cheerwine to drink. The menagerie of menu items is impressive and the fact that corn dogs and walking tacos are offered as sides is amazing on so many levels! (The walking taco is not listed on the online menu but they do have it!) I always order the bbq sandwich with bbq sauce on the side and in addition to the hot sauce and coleslaw it normally comes with. My meal today was nothing short of delicious as per usual and I left for my drive home happy and satisfied with my experience.

Cook Out is a staple when it comes to cheap, quick fast food. I honestly wish there were more in my area but whenever I go to one, it's always a good time. So I'm down here in Fredericksburg to visit friends and thought it was a good idea to try and get some Cook Out before the hang out begins. I get a Cook Out Tray with a big double burger with all the toppings I want on there. Then I get to pick two sides which are usually fries and hush puppies. I get a drink and knowing that Cook Out has Cheerwine, I immediately go for it. The Big Double Burger, just your average burger that tastes like what the name implies; a cook out. Fries were okay but they were lukewarm. The hush puppies tasted a bit drier knowing they weren't freshly made but still was enjoyable to eat. And Cheerwine? Honestly it's one of the better sodas I would personally get again and again. My adventure didn't stop there as I wanted dessert. Can't leave Cook Out without a nice milkshake. I got my favorite; Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshake. It looks the part, tastes the part with a generous amount to go through. I did not finish this right away, I was there for another half an hour trying to finish this. It's always worth it every time. I honestly see myself coming back here, but maybe at the Manassas location. It's already far enough trying to go down to Fredericksburg.

Big double burger with everything. Delish!

I don't care what you say about cookout but the service was fast. My order was accurate. The food tasted great! I wish we would get one in Central PA! Yes. Even the bathrooms were clean and everything was well stocked. No. I was not paid for this review.

Milkshake Flavors

literally, the best milkshakes ever!!!! and at a great price $1.99...soooo much cheaper than whomever has the next best milkshakes (ex. chik-fil-a) my faves are the peanut butter & fudge, banana pudding, and egg nog (only available during december)! you can also sub out your drink on a tray/combo "or sub areg. shake (no drink)"

Peanut Butter Oreo and m&m shake and strawberry caramel shake

This is an average fast food joint. The deal of a meal (burger/chicken sandwich) plus two sides is pretty great, only $6.99. But the sides are pretty small and I wish they had been a tad bigger. What we got: Spicy chicken sandwich - it was subpar, I wish mine had more mayo as it was a tad dry. The chicken was not spicy as all, part of me wonders of they got the order wrong. The big double - bun was dry, meat overcooked, and vegetables were meh. Oreo peanut butter m&m milkshake - it was good. The milkshakes are thicker, which is nice. But also nothing extraordinarily special. Strawberry caramel milkshake - my partner did not like it. I thought it was fine. Nothing special. The caramel wasn't mixed in though. The sides we got: White cheddar cheese curds - the best side by far, but very small servings Walkin Taco - I did not know this would be a Doritos bag with taco toppings crushed up and mixed inside. So I was a bit disappointed to discover that on getting my meal. I can easily make this on my own and would never spend money for someone else to make it for me. Corn dog - tasted like any old corn dog you buy from the freezer section of a grocery store. Fries - nothing special (but they were hot and fresh, so thank goodness for that). Also very small servings. Over all, I wouldn't drive out of my way for Cook Out (like I did today) but if I was with people and they wanted to go then I'd go back and try a different meal.

i ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and got raw chicken

The space is cozy, with a nice mix of tables, bar seating, and comfy couches. Their cocktail menu is full of fun holiday options, and the small plates menu offers plenty to choose from if you're hungry. I ordered the London Fog Sour, the classic crab dip, and the birria eggrolls. The London Fog Sour might honestly be one of my favorite cocktails I've had downtown--I loved it so much I ordered a second one. I'll be going back just for that drink. The crab dip was its usual reliable, delicious self, and the birria eggrolls were flavorful and packed with meat. Our server was fantastic and helped us decide which small plates to try. Overall, Harry's Sidecar is an excellent choice if you're looking for an intimate spot to enjoy happy hour, whether you're solo or with a group. I absolutely recommend giving it a try!

For such a small restaurant... there are a lot of seats and looks to be able to even host a large party of 15-20 on a long bench. They were cooked to perfection and had a great sweet sauce. I enjoyed the salad too. They also brought out wings, mini burgers, mini fried chicken sandwiches, and tuna. For all burgers, it comes with some condiments but you can also add extra. I tell ya, that first bite to their double cheeseburger was simply amazing. The buns were airy, soft and lightly toasted. The burger was tender, juicy and with all of the components together it made that bite perfect for me. Their chili dogs was delicious, it had a crispy casting, chili topping was delicious but I wish the cheese was melted. And lastly you can't go wrong with any of their shakes, sundaes and custards. I got their strawberry dreamcake sundae with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, topped with strawberry, cake chunks and it was delicious. All staff members were friendly and shown great team work. I had immaculate service from cashier named Ervin L. He was friendly, humorous, attentive and very knowledgeable. This restaurant is a great place to bring your kids, friends and family. Off street parking is ample. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with counter service. The menu has a variety of heat options available for their chicken, from "country" (no heat) to mild (a touch of heat), medium (a slap of heat), hot (feel the burn), to burn baby burn (the hottest level). My adult sons, and my son's girlfriend were in town, so there were 5 of us. My oldest son ordered the 4 piece tenders (mild), with fries and a drink, my youngest son ordered a chicken sandwich combo mild, his girlfriend ordered macaroni and cheese and fries, my husband ordered the 4 piece tenders (no heat), and I ordered the 3 piece tenders (no heat), then we split the Joey Eat Fries, which are Boneless breast, Crimson sauce, slaw, pickles, and cheese, over a bed of Crimson fries. We ordered those with our chicken mild. I'm so happy we didn't order beyond mild, because I can't take too much heat, and the mild was too spicy for me, but perfectly spicy for my husband. For those that like very spicy, you will love the heat, it packs a punch! The tenders with no heat, still were amazing! Everyone in our group were highly satisfied with the size of the chicken tenders/sandwich, and were impressed with how juicy and fresh they were, without the greasy texture. My husband is picky about his chicken tenders, and said that these were by far his new favorites in the area. My son's girlfriend said that her Mac and cheese was great, and the fries were good too. But the Joey Eat Fries were fantastic! Sooo good and more than enough for two people to enjoy; massive, and a meal of their own. The only thing that left something to be desired, was the bread. Would have been better toasted with butter, and perhaps a toasted garlic bread option. Prices were comparable to other similar establishments. We were impressed with the friendly service, speed and delivery of the food, and the quality of the meals. Their grand opening is Monday, April 1st, make sure to check them out!
