Tried getting a corn dog tray with strips and fries like always, I explained the order in detail on repeat twice for the guy, (long brown hair bowl cut) and still just said f it I guess. Tonight was no shocker when I went to cookout tonight that I expected attitudes. A lot of times when I'm just getting off work cookout is the only place open. I love to come get a Reese's shake and chicken strip tray after a long day at work. There is some very nice people that work at this restaurant, but there are also some nasty attitudes. One girl in particular tonight always has the worst attitude. Tonight I forgot to make the coke i ordered with my tray a huge so I waited in line for quite a while after ordering to get to the window. When I finally get up there I said, "I'm so sorry but I forgot to make the coke a huge." Her response? "Well I've already sent it and the only way I can change that is to go get the manager". So we sat there in silence for a good minute because I was waiting for her to go get her manager when she finally tells her coworker to get the manager (which she still has an attitude this whole time). I have worked in food service my whole life and I can tell you that if she was my employee i would've fired her. To be honest I have been in the managers shoes and done exactly that. You guys tell us it's "your pleasure to serve us at the window" but is it really? When you have people working for your company that has nasty attitudes and it's not just once in a while, but EVERY NIGHT?! It's ridiculous! The cookout in monroe has a lot nicer attitudes and if I have to start going out of my way to go to that location I will because the attitudes at this store is just horrible. ordered from here and i asked for a cheese quesadilla and they gave me chicken. my tender wrap had a burnt chicken tender in it. my chicken nuggets were burnt. and my friend ordered onion rings and got a quesadilla. plus it took 20 minutes for that when their was no one else in line. read more

Love Cook Out!!! Great BBQ, Great burgers and great shakes. The food is top quality and cheap! This location even has a dining room - unheard of! My family of 4 ate full meals for less than 20 bucks. Great quick service on the drive-through and good value. However, both of our hamburgers tasted like they were cooked extra well done. They were dry and shriveled up like jerky. On the other hand, the corn dog was pretty good. I'm guessing because it was the late night shift (we came at 1am) someone was learning, at our expense. If the burgers are cooked right, however, this place is cheaper and much better than your Mc Donalds and Burger King, etc. read more

The workers need to be a little bit more friendly, food was good but when we ordered through the drive thru we repeated many times that we need lots of ketchup, we got not one ketchup. That was pretty aggravating cause I can eat my fries without ketchup my friends. Love the Banana milkshake though. read more

Great food for takeout burgers, they are sometimes on the salty side but i would take these over any other fast food burger in the city. Everything is fresh, cooked to order and never had a mistake. The shakes are pretty good too. This cookout is newer than some others and is probably the best one. read more

I love this place. It's quick, good and cheap. The portion sizes are just right and for the perfect price. I get burger with all the toppings, onion rings, slaw and drink for $5, can't beat that. Went here for tonight for my usual tray. I haven't really had problems with them in the past but tonight was not a good experience at all. The girl taking my order at the drive-thru wasn't listening I guess & then made me stop in the middle of ordering to wait for close to 5 minutes. When she was ready to listen to me again, I had to repeat everything I said multiple times - sorry to inconvenience her... Got to the window, where the other worker lady pretty much threw the drinks at me & when I asked for a drink holder since I was getting 2 drinks & 2 milkshakes, she scoffed at me like I did something wrong by asking. Most cars don't have 4 drink holders & my mustang sure doesn't- how am I supposed to hold 4 cups while driving in the car by myself? Got home to find they gave me the wrong quesadilla (chicken instead of the beef that I requested which was not cooked all the way & had to be thrown out) & the wrong milkshake, which leaked all over my car because it wasn't made right! No milkshake melts that fast & it was coming out of the top of the cup when she handed it to me. I thought it was alright but when I pulled it out of the car in the drink tray when I got home, it was all completely melted chocolate liquid mess that stained my seats! It takes me 5 minutes (in a heavily conditioned car) to get home from the restaurant, so no way it just melted on the way home. Also, it did not fall over on my way home but it shouldn't have been a big deal if it did because it shouldn't have been a liquid mess that would immediately leak out the cup drastically. Cookout owes me a car detail to get this mess off my seats! Very disappointed :( read more

Long day for hubby and I so he drove through the take out line. He ordered a BBQ no hot sauce, onion rings, and coleslaw for me. When he got home I found BBQ WITH HOT SAUCE, onion rings and NO cole slaw! He ordered BBQ with onion rings, fries. He got BBQ and 3 onion rings, NO FRIES! Three items per order right? How hard is it to put in THREE??? They need to learn to count at this store and get the orders right!!! read more

This review is not about the food, but management. I took my family today & the whole time we were eating teens hanging in the parking lot with loud music. We could barely hear each other talk. The base was so loud and annoying. You would think the manager would be a manager & go tell the loitering teens to leave or turn down the music. He could have called the cops, if he didn't want confrontation. This was entirely a teen hangout & it didn't feel like a safe environment. When we walked to our vehicles, their was teens everywhere in the parking lot & music blasting. Vehicles were pulled up at the front door lined up. I will not be taking my family back, even with the good food. It is definitely a trashy teen hangout. I will make sure to tell everyone about this experience. read more
