Instead of just getting a new container, they scraped whatever was left on the sides and barely put anything on my hotdogs. The taste was definitely not worth the price This was at lunch, and there was no one else in there as a customer. Just me. When I walked in, the employee had his hand on his head and was looking at his phone. I feel like that time could've been used to clean up and restock the condiments, but I'm not his employer, so I don't really have a say in that. It had been a while since I had come to Sam's Hotdogs. Ever since the owners that I grew up with sold it, I haven't really frequent this place much. Maybe once in the last 3-4 years. After giving it another try, I can see why I hadn't been here very much. It's unfortunate because the taste of the hotdogs is still there, but it's everything around the hotdogs that bring the joy down. This was once a staple in this city. Getting in for lunch was tough.
