Came here for breakfast and it was awesome! Got a variety of different things including omelettes, biscuit sandwiches, pancakes, baked apples, and everything was really great! Constantly had people coming in and out which was super reassuring!

Basic good food, well prepared and served in reasonable time. No frills; nothing fancy. The wait staff was fun and polite. When I'm back in the area, I hope to return!

Lots of tables in a tiny space. But the food and friendly staff really overcome that. Portions are large. The pancakes were good enough to eat without butter or syrup -- tender, pillowy, and sweet. Eggs cooked perfectly. The country fried steak and gravy exceeded expectations, well seasoned and not soggy as sometimes can happen with breaded meat once it sits. Decent grits and coffee too. Way off the interstate so mainly locals and folks who read Yelp. The wait staff tag teams to cover all tables at the same time. Friendly and attentive. Would love to come try lunch, will definitely come back for another breakfast.

A truly great mom and pop diner. Just as we like. The Hand c coffee is so smoooth you can drink it black. The burgers are thick and taste amazing. Our waitress was very attentive keeping coffee and drinks full. We had the Weasie Burger and the mushroom swiss burger with their home made potato salad and pasta salad. The sides were great and a bit sweet. Highly recommend if you are in the area to stop by.

Stopped by this hotspot locals flock too for breakfast. It's tucked away in downtown Waynesboro off Main Street. Parking was ample in the lot as was street parking. Upon walking in, you are invited to sit wherever you'd like. The tables have partitions between them to aide in social distancing which was a nice touch. Within a minute of sitting down the server had placed a menu in front of me along with napkin and packaged silverware and took my drink order. I requested the Scrambler for my meal which also arrived pretty quickly to the table. It was filling and warm; plenty for two people to even share. As the servers floated around they interacted with the usual customers in a friendly banter. It's a pretty neat spot with a relaxed vibe. There are plenty of comfort meals and deserts to choose from on the menu. Highly recommend checking out this place.

This Charming (yes, a capital C) place opened in downtown Waynesboro, Va as one of the first spots to help turn downtown around. With a miss-mash of antiques everywhere you turn, including old china for serving, you can't escape its eclectic creativeness. It has become a staple for brunch and lunch every day they are open. On a recent Thursday I found my self off from work so I met up with a friend for lunch. They were packed, luckily I knew to call ahead to make a reservation. Highly recommend! Although if you don't, they have a large communal table available too. The great thing about SBL is that everything is great. My favorite soup is the tomato basil bisque. I've had a variety of their salads and sandwiches as well and have never been disappointed. But on Thursdays I just learned, they have the grilled salmon BLT. This thing is massive, messy, and delicious. I may be taking another Thursday off just go eat this thing again.

Tensions are high right now regarding the Cracker Barrel branding update, so we had to decide whether it's still the same place we know and love. Good news, it is!! The waitstaff were friendly, accommodating any questions or changes to menu items with a smile. The Old Timer's breakfast was a very filling and satisfying meal with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and a side of hashbrowns. I also tried a latte here for the first time, and I do think I'll stick with hot coffee from here in the future, but I'm glad I tried it! Their menu did change a bit with the rebrand, but I don't think many favorite items are missing. If anything, you can customize an order to make it what you like if you can't find your old favorite. Thankful for consistent kindness and good food at this Cracker Barrel and looking forward to visiting again someday while driving through VA.

My father and I both drink a lot of sweet tea, but they're always more than helpful and sometimes even bring us a refill before we ask. The food can range in quality, so I think it really depends on the day, but usually their fried chicken is reliably good and their ranch is super delicious. It's a comfortable place to stop by for a bite if you don't mind a little bit of a wait.

For lunch, we had the Apple Brie and Turkey sandwich. That was such a good combination. We also had the Arugula and apples salad. It also was good. The main tasting costs $20. They also offer an option to customize your wine tasting for $30. Both provide four wines. We customized and had the Sauvignon Blanc, the Viognier, the Rose, and the Petit Verdot.
