I was watching a late night movie next door and stopped here for a pre movie snack. The inside of the store is very colorful and loud which is something different compared to other ice cream spots. The lady who helped me was super nice and she greeted me right when I walked in, she was patient in giving me samples and helping me make a decision. I saw a movie at the AMC nearby and actually followed the signs to visit. I've never come out of the theater and been swayed by dessert so fast! The store front is absolutely adorable, every inch of it is instagramable. The price is similar to a cone of ice cream. There was no one inside when we went so the service was quick. So basically you can pick your flavor of cookie dough and add soft serve ice cream or any kind of topping you like. She also explained that I can take it home and actually bake cookies from it as well! What!? This is amazing. I opted for the classic chocolate chip cookie dough. I want to preface by saying my wife, who loves cookie dough, is the one who dragged me to this establishment. I normally don't indulge in sweets very often and can be pretty harsh in my judgment, especially when it comes to a desert/sweets only location. That being said, the cookie dough tastes exactly like it does when my mom bakes cookies, and she's yelling at me to wait until she bakes them so I don't get a tummy ache. Except I had way too much, and there was no tummy ache. The texture, the flavor, everything about this is so spot on its mind blowing. I regrettably did not get soft serve on mine and will never make that mistake again. The flavor of just the basic vanilla soft serve was miles better than I've had in years from anywhere. We even had some baked cookies, and that's when I knew I was in trouble because they had a depth of flavor that had me upset I didn't have more than 2. The place had board games and, in my opinion, would be a fabulous night cap with friends or place to finish a date (any excuse to come here really). The decor was exactly as it should be, fun, friendly and bright. The only thing I would change is the location, and this is selfish, not at all a deal breaker. I just wish it was on San Fernando blvd in the mix with everything else. The woman with bright colored hair was extraordinarily kind and patient with us even though we showed up 10 minutes before closing. If you are considering this place amongst your normal haunts and aren't quite sure if you should risk it, I implore you to give this place a try. I doubt you could be disappointed. read more

They have vegan, gluten free (tapioca based), and sugar free (xylitol?) too. They all tasted kinda similar so opted for the sugar free base with chocolate chips and oreos (not crushed/blended in). For the mix in they legit take a KitchenAid out and blend it in. SO if you wanted a 'mix-in' as a TOPPING (like for example, don't crush the oreos!), call it out before they take the KitchenAid out haha. I got a kid sized scoop with soft serve ($6). You can get the soft serve in vanilla, chocolate or swirl. :) But the kid portion was enough, I couldn't finish the cookie dough since it tastex way too sweet.
