Only one showed up, he was rude, ran out of food so half of my guests didn't receive any. I asked to speak to a manager and no response. I should have received half of my money refunded for not receiving what I paid for, but he will not respond to my messages. I have everything in writing and I will be reporting this to local and state departments. Do not use this guy for your catering.

Crepes Hollywood is a food stand located in Eagle Rock by the Target! I visited them at a night market, but check their instagram for updates of where they will be. They offer 3 types of crepe flavors; original, bubble gum and strawberry. As a default they are all filled with Nutella, banana and strawberry. Of course you can customize it any way you like. As an added bonus, they offer unlimited toppings, and they have a lot to choose from! I also like the fact that you can add ice cream to your crepe if you're feeling frisky. The crepes are always made fresh, when you order it. It's super fun to watch them make it, and I love that it comes out piping hot. The bubble gum crepe has a hint of bubble gum flavor so it is not overwhelming. The strawberry crepe also has a hint of strawberry flavor and also isn't overpowering. I think they're super cute, and it's great for the gram! Super fun crepes, that taste delicious. Can't wait to go back to grab some more deliciously cute crepes! Don't forget to use the yelp check in for 25% off!

I remember a French madam taking our order complimenting me on my extremely rudimentary knowledge of French wines. I'm wondering now if she were the owner who founded this charming boite. 45 years later I'm back to relive a tiny bit of the past, and it must have been fate that a parking space in front of La Poubelle on busy Franklin Avenue was free. The interior is an amazing space since there are so many framed art. Belle Époque wall scones, pink fabric shaded table lamps and the placement of the banquettes, chairs and long bar reminds me of the bistrots in Paris. 1) Poubelle Frites: I asked for crispy Pommes Frites that was honored by the kitchen. Outside was crisp, but inside was dry lacking most of that earthy, starchy aroma. Perhaps the Belgian style of twice fried can improve the textures. Still acceptable. Heinz ketchup and a garlic scented Aïoli (ah ee oh lee) were good accompaniments. Kitchen timing is really off. I'm only a quarter of the way though finishing the Pommes Frites when the waiter brings the main course so it could get cold. 2) Coq au Vin: Bistot classic for cold weather since it's hearty fare. Celery, carrots, pearl onions along with button mushrooms but the lardons are missing in action to add that porky, smoky undertone. The red wine sauce used to braise the vegetables was a bit too sweet, but the basic Umami flavours were sound. Coq au Vin should have pieces of chicken with bones attached slowly braising and absorbing the flavours and colours of the red wine sauce. The meat should fall off the bone. What I got was deboned breast meat sliced in two thick slices then grilled and not long simmered in the red wine sauce. The meat inside was still colored white unstained by the red wine. And the meat was dry and mealy. This is a total insult to French cooking. 1a) Côtes du Rhône Mont Gravet 2023 was plonk. Rough, grainy mouthfeel, mildly bitter tannins. Unbalanced, but had some good blueberry and blackberry fruitiness. At $17 a glass and about $14 for a 750ml bottle, the restaurant is making a good profit. La Poubelle means the trash can in French. Unfortunately, at least their Coq au Vin should be in the Poubelle. So disappointing that the substandard French cooking is not commensurate to the great ambiance. Just coming for drinks would be a better deal. Service is indifferent and utilitarian, warmly welcoming it is not. However, my waiter warmed up a bit as time progressed which raised the one star to two stars.

I loved the mayo they used, but felt that the overall taste was overpowered by the tuna, and I also would have liked if the crepe had some crisp to it. My boyfriend got the ham and cheese sandwich, and he didn't like that it came with whole wheat bread, or that the cheese wasn't heated. I got a Thai tea as a drink, and thought it was just okay, mainly because I prefer when the taste is richer. They also served it with a ton of ice that it almost reached the brim. I'd consider coming back for their sweet crepes when I'm in the area again.
