Upside Down Halo Halo and Halo Halo

First time at this location. Street parking only. The 3 of us shared two items, the upside down halo halo and halo halo. I'm glad we each didnt order our own because it is a lot. I enjoyed the bread pudding and the jelly. Was refreshing to eat on a hot day. Would come back for the bread pudding. Fair amount of indoor seating. Friendly staff.

Could not find a place to get coffee and matcha, we saw people walking around with Cafe 86 cups and had to try it out! The workers are so sweeeeet! It's such a cute spot and their matcha is one of the best I've had. A Large Cold Brew is less than 4 bucks you can't beat that! Will definitely be back!

Improved! Got it down and everything running as expected and tasting as anticipated. A welcome addition to Burbank and my fellow Ube Lovers/good drinks/coffee conouseiiers can unite. It's a small spot with very little seating but definitely worth stopping by and enjoying a treat or five from time to time. Service is pretty quick and staff are helpful if you have any questions about their menu.

First time here and went on a recommendation from a nearby business . They checked all the boxes , pet friendly clean restrooms , and tasty food ! Everything I ordered tasted great and arrived in a timely manner - Bravo !

We were doing some shopping in the area, and based on the favorable Yelp reviews, decided to give it a try. Since it was our first time we went with a variety. We tried the ube leche flan cupcake, Ube butter bar, halo halo,& maiz con yelo bars. Everything was delicious! Less sweet than I expected. The vibe was nice. The space, while tiny, had seating for around ten customers. Service was welcoming and friendly. I'd definitely recommend checking Cafe 86 out. Prices are a little steep, but the quality is there.

It's a little known fact I'm a sucker for ube based treats, and Cafe 86 has opened my eyes to a myriad of yummy new possibilities. I tried their ube crinkle cookie, and not only was it pillow soft, but a very pleasant sweetness that pairs very nicely with milk. I've never had halo halo before, but it's such a tastebud tempter I may need to have more!

We showed up about 10 minutes before opening hour of 11:30 am and door opened exactly at 11:30. Guy behind the counter was alone, and was friendly enough. We ordered two sandwiches and an ube poptart. It took nearly 20 minutes to get our food, which isn't terrible, but if you are time-pressed, it's something to consider. One thing that was a little distressing, they only had 1 ube poptart left. At opening. Huh? So, I bring it up just to say that you might not be able to get what you want, even if you're their first customer of the day. It just feels a bit like they could have things ready to go. The Turkey Pesto Sandwiches were good, nothing too special, but tasty. Ube Poptart was REALLY tasty and would get me to go back, but I would be too leery they might not have them, so I'll probably save the calories. We ate in and it was pretty warm inside. Music and vibe were cool, but it otherwise wasn't that comfortable. Menu has a ton of items with interesting names, but no descriptions, so I have no idea what they are and didn't feel like asking what each thing is. So in summary, it's good but if I went back, I'd consider ordering ahead to ensure that I wasn't disappointed to make the trip only to find they didn't have what I wanted.

I was on way back to the Bay but had to stop to get a coffee. The other Bakery down the street was busy, so I went in for a quick coffee and pastry. I had ordered a Cookie Butter latte and an Ube pop-tart. The owners were super friendly and it seemed like a family owned business. It seemed like a Filipina inspired menu with Turon, Ube pastries and Halo Halo styled drinks. It seemed like a chill place to have a coffee meet up or maybe a little study time. I will definitely stop by when i'm in the area again. Both the pasties and coffee were really good.

A place to satisfy your Pinoy sweet cravings on a hot summer days. Their different takes on Halohalo & ube are always a delight.

I haven't noticed this place til earlier today when I was getting my nails done next door. I walked in to buy coffee for a midday pick me up. The iced coffee with milk was delicious. I wasn't expecting it to be this good. I'll definitely stop by again just for this. They serve a variety of coffee drinks, milk teas, iced teas and more. Also some desserts and few sandwiches. I saw someone eating a grilled cheese sandwich and it looked really good. The price was under $10. What a great lunch option. Will try it next time. Customer service was friendly, indoor seating only. The ambiance was chill.

This was my first time trying this cafe. I know they have multiple locations but there's a first for everything lol I got a hot matcha and it was really good actually. I'm kinda picky with my matcha but this one was really smooth and I added sweetener and it was right sweetness for me. I didn't try honestly most of the food because it had ube and unfortunately I am an ube hater lol but it did look good! I like this location has a good amount of seating to hang out or do some work. I didn't find much parking because I believe it's only street parking which is where I parked. Overall I would come here again.

Their New York rolls were full, rich, flaky, and flavorful. Unfortunately, over the past year, the quality has gone completely downhill. The croissants are now dry, overcooked, and tasteless , even early in the morning. It honestly feels like they changed the butter because the flavor is gone. The pastries look beautiful for Instagram, but the taste no longer matches the image. People probably come for the terrace and the "Paris" aesthetic, but nothing about these pastries feels authentically French anymore. The owner is Iranian and honestly should stick to Iranian pastries instead of trying to market this place as a French pâtisserie, because it is nowhere close to the quality or refinement of a real French pastry shop. On top of that, customer service is terrible. The employees are rude, impatient, and act bothered when you ask simple questions like the price of a croissants ; especially since prices are not clearly displayed. Paying almost $7 for a croissant or New York roll, and $10+ for many pastries, would maybe be acceptable with excellent quality and service... but definitely not with dry pastries and rude staff. Parking is another nightmare. There's no dedicated parking lot, so you have to park on San Fernando, pay for parking, and parking enforcement is constantly circling waiting to ticket people the second your time expires. This was my last visit. Save your money and go elsewhere for pastries -- honestly, even Whole Foods does better at this point.

They hide mango chunks inside the middle of the shaved ice too, so it's not solely a bowl of ice when you get to the bottom. We had wanted some croissants and apple tarts but unfortunately they had run out of the Apple tarts by the time we ordered (another excuse to return next time). We were convinced by the nice lady at the register to pick up not one but two almond croissants because they were fresh out of the oven and I'm SO GLAD we did. It was still hot/warm when we took our first bite after walking back to our car -- flaky amazing lamination with a steaming frangipane filling, for sure the best almost croissant I've had. The regular croissant was also good but not fresh/warm like the almond croissant so it left less of an impression but I can imagine it also tasting amazing if we got it fresh. Well... next thing you know, I'm standing in line too after a very full lunch. I ended up trying the Chocolate Almond Croissant for $6.50, and let me tell you something -- I am a HUGE croissant girlie. While I'm not normally the biggest chocolate person, Spain and Portugal recently changed my perspective on dark chocolate, and apparently now I'm in my dark chocolate era. And honestly? This croissant was BETTER than the super popular pastry we had in Barcelona, Spain. The chocolate wasn't overpowering at all -- it had the perfect amount of dark sweetness without being too rich. But the real surprise was the almond filling layered at the bottom. Oh my gosh... chef's kiss. Nutty, creamy, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced. Chocolate Almond Croissant -- 9.2/10 I can only imagine how life-changing this would taste fresh out of the oven piping hot. Service was fast despite the line moving constantly, but just know there's no indoor seating. It's very much an order, pick up, and go type of spot. Ambiance was welcoming and super friendly gals. Definitely a must-try, and I'll absolutely remember to stop by again anytime I'm in Burbank. Happy eats!!
