I brought my 2019 VW Atlas in for a simple oil change before leaving on a road trip and was charged $166. Before the service, I was told it would be somewhere around $160-$166, and, conveniently, it ended up being the highest quoted price. Then I was told I was getting a "discount" because it was supposedly going to be over $170. That didn't feel like a discount--it felt like a sales tactic to make an already overpriced oil change seem reasonable. This is now the second time I've been here since the change in management, with two different vehicles, and both times I heard the same explanation: "We're under new management, so prices are a little higher." A little higher? That's a huge understatement. I would have left if I wasn't pressed for time but I went ahead and bit the bullet and that ruined the rest of my day knowing I got cheated. Afterward, I compared prices with other local shops and found that the same service was available for significantly less. Had I known that beforehand, I never would have agreed to pay $166 for a routine oil change. It's disappointing to see what used to be a trustworthy, fairly priced shop turn into a place that seems focused on charging as much as possible. If you're considering coming here, ask for the total price before they begin any work and compare it with a few other local shops first. You may end up saving yourself a lot of money. On a side note, like I said...Afterward, I called a few local shops and found quotes ranging from about $90 to $120 for the same service, making the $166 charge here even harder to justify.

It was a 3 hour job and he had it back to me before then end of the day even though I dropped it off close to 3:00. And it was still the quoted price. I'm so thankful ChatGPT directed me to Tire Outlet. The moment I pulled into the parking lot, I was greeted with smiles and employees who were eager to help. The manager personally took care of me, and from the very beginning, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The speed of service really impressed me. About a year ago, I brought my car to a different tire shop in Fullerton for another leaky tire and ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours before anyone even looked at my car. Today's experience couldn't have been more different. While I relaxed in Tire Outlet's clean, comfortable waiting lounge and got some work done on my laptop, they had everything taken care of in about 15 minutes. Then came the biggest surprise of all. They told me my tire didn't need to be replaced after all--they were able to fix it easily by hand. And when I went to pay, they insisted on not charging me anything. Seriously... who does that these days?! I was blown away. That level of honesty and integrity is incredibly rare. They could have easily sold me a new tire, especially since my tires are difficult to find, but instead they fixed the actual problem and sent me on my way. From now on, Tire Outlet will be the only place I take my car for tire service. I was about two hours from home, and ended up with a hole in my tire that needed fixing before I could drive back. They told me to arrive by 6:30 p.m. since they closed at 7, and I got there just in time. While the actual replacement process was smooth and the tires look fine, I only found out from the paperwork afterward that they were supposedly "balanced". Unfortunately, the car hasn't been driving right since. The steering feels off, it's jerky, and turns are more difficult than they should be. Clearly, something is wrong with the balancing or the installation. I'm concerned that because I arrived so close to closing time, the job may have been rushed. If they can't do a thorough job that late in the day, they really should stop taking new customers earlier rather than rushing through the work. In short, while the staff was accommodating in terms of timing, the end result was that my car doesn't drive properly now. For that reason, I wouldn't go back.

I was told this type damage might be covered under my comprehensive auto insurance. It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

I highly recommend this place for all of your tire needs! My sisters have come here and had excellent service, so of course when I got a screw in my tire, this is where I came! Christian at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and greeted me as I walked in. We went outside to take a look at the screw, and at first he was certain I would need a new tire. However, after inspection and a tech taking a closer look, they were able to pluck the screw out and it didn't even need to be patched! I appreciate their honesty in this situation, because honestly I would never have even known if they had me get a new tire and I didn't in fact even need it. Out of town and my tire pressure light suddenly came on--needless to say, I was super nervous being 300 miles away from home. I pulled into Cook's Service, and Christian was absolutely amazing. So they labeled the service as a "TPMS stem kit, tire repair, and balance with flat repair" and charged for it. Obviously the rep was lying. Confirmed no TPMS was replaced. The rep even said if I wanted a new TPMS, they would do it at no additional cost. I drove the car in with a small leak from a nail. He said it's $40 flat fee to remove a nail from the tire. 1 star because it was done quickly.

Whoever the person was helping my step dad and gave him a very hard time to get help, I hope they get fired. Discount tire and many other tire companies use a separate company named FixGo, which I used to purchase and schedule a tire install. My step dad goes in and the person at the counter is giving him a really hard time saying there is no order, and he didnt order the tire through them so they can't help him. Only to eat his own words later saying, oh it's in the system. Don't go to this location, they hire people of low IQ here for sure.
