Use to come here to get serviced anytime my car had issues however today this place let me down. Back in 2023 I had my entire AC unit replaced with them (~$600) bc it previously had a leak. After they fixed it, AC worked for 2 years and then I brought it back in today because the driver side was blowing warm air. They said, they were charging me $65 for inspection on top of whatever my car needs. I understand it's a business they're running but how are you going to charge me $65 to take a look at the work YOU did on my AC TWO YEARS AGO. This AC should have been good for at least 4-5 years. Usually this place has integrity and honest about their work, but not today. I dont think i'll be coming back. read more

Very kind, patient, and communicative I really appreciate that they take the time to explain everything to me and really feel that they intentionally build that trust and are sincere in giving the best service all the way around. I used to come here to get all my vehicles to get serviced here. But recently was not happy with their service. I came in for a full brake job service and an oil change, less than a 1 week after, brakes started to squeak. Not sure if they installed some used brakes or whatever, but new brake job shouldn't be squeaking a week later. Also, "change oil change" message popped up like 2 weeks after getting oil change, which once again, shouldn't be happening. I was charged more than $800 for this service. I trusted these guys a lot before, always came here even though I live in Santa Ana. But now they are saving me the trip since I won't be coming here anymore. Be careful, if they gain your trust, they might find more issues to your car then they're really is. read more

Called the shop on a Monday morning for a 30k mile service on my Toyota. They were able to take me when I could bring my car in at 3pm and it was done by 5pm. Prices are super reasonable and the staff I interacted with were very friendly and informative. I don't know anything about cars/service but felt comfortable with their recommendations. They even recommended I get a second opinion from a tire specialist before doing a tire rotation. I found Al's automotive through Autozone's website, and I'm glad I found them. From the start Jose was a pleasure to work with,first I called to get an estimate on replacing the timing belts, Jose asked me questions to find out exactly what I needed done and he called me within a few minutes with an estimate. I took my car in the next day and was helped by Alvaro, again everyone there was friendly and professional. I could tell the shop was family owned and everyone there loved what they do. They do their own inspections and suggest the best way to correct issues, but they were never pushy, which made me feel comfortable. The place is small, and it seems like parking can be an issue on a busy day for them, but they are great with accommodating so I wouldn't expect any issues. Dropped my wife's car off for an oil change. Full synthetic oil change was reasonable priced, came out to about $60 with taxes and fees. Other chain places wanted about or over $100. Jose was friendly over the phone and answered all my questions. I also brought my step-daughter's car to get checked because we were having idling problems (car idled low and engine stalled). Jose tested the idle free of charge to try to trouble shoot. Of course, the car was working perfectly when we brought it in, but Jose did have some ideas of what might be the problem and went over prices for those solutions. If that car has this problem again, we will be bringing it for repairs here. read more

These guys are absolutely fantastic! I was referred by a transmission shop across the street because they discovered a full-blown gasoline leak in the engine of my 1987 Toyota 4 x 4, and Jose at Al's shop knew exactly what the problem was when he looked under the hood, and was able to order the part and fix it within just a few hours at a very reasonable rate. This was an emergency situation because basically I was Dripping gas even when the engine was shut off, and it was also a fire hazard. I totally trust this shop and recommend them to anyone! I live pretty close by and they even gave me a ride home and went and picked me up after the job was done! read more
