What happened to me personally will ensure I continue to recommend Cool Blew professionally! My husband David and I have a home warranty and 2 years ago our AC was no longer fixable. We were given a check for $1,200.00 (the approximate cost of the repair if it could have been fixed) we used that to purchase a new unit through Cool Blew - now 2 years later we had an issue and asked the warranty company to send Cool Blew as they were familiar with us and we had a good experience with the purchase of this unit. The service technician Greg came out and told us the coil was leaking badly and could not be repaired. He was so polite and professional it made the news a little less frustrating. He called it in and Cool Blew ordered a new coil, as it was still under manufacture warranty. They did not charge us the labor to install even though it was not their fault the coil was bad. They sent Jimmie and Henry out to install the new coil just a few days later. This was 7 weeks ago. Yesterday the same thing happened - I called Cool Blew and even though they are booked solid for a week and a half, Robbie sent Jimmie out today before noon to see what the heck was going on. The new coil that was installed 7 weeks ago on a 2 year old unit was now leaking badly and unrepairable. Before Jimmie knocked on my front door to give me the bad news - he called Robbie, they called the manufacturer and ordered another brand new coil for us. Jimmie cleared his schedule and will be back day after tomorrow first thing in the morning to do the install. He had all of this planned out basically problem solved before he even told me we have another bad coil! It is 110+ degrees outside and they made time for us even when they are in their peak season. It is bad luck that we are now on basically the 3rd coil for this 2 year old unit ( the one it came with - the new one from 7 weeks ago and now another coil to be installed Friday) THE AMAZING THING IS Jimmie told me that when he called the manufacturer, he made it clear that Cool Blew will not do another coil on this unit if it fails again. He is documenting the case with notes and photos to give us ammunition to insist on a brand new unit IF the coil fails again, basically indicating that we somehow purchased a "lemon"! Knowing Cool Blew will back us up if we have another problem gives us the peace of mind that we will not be stuck with this unit if it continues to fail. We will know how to insist on a replacement from the manufacturer if it comes to that WHICH I SINCERLY HOPE IT DOES NOT. I reached out to Fidelity Home Warranty because my A/C went out. I came home from work and it was near 100 in my house and my dogs were having a rough time. Fidelity assigned me to a company that had horrible ratings and nightmare stories so I asked for a different company. They assigned me to Cool Blew. Since it was the end of the day, I hadn't heard back which is to be expected. Business was about to close. I got a call from them first thing this morning. I was told that my window was from 12-4 PM which is fine. It's still summer and I'm sure it's very busy. Art called me at 9:30 AM and said he was on his way to my surprise. Art was very nice and personable, went right out to the A/C unit to diagnose the issue, tried changing the capacitor and that didn't fix the issue. After that, the diagnosis was that the motor was shot. He was able to get it replaced because he had the parts ON HAND and installed it super quick. He answered other questions I had with the other A/C unit for downstairs, gave me tips on cooling the house down and taught me tricks to maintain the unit for longer life. Art went above and beyond and turned what could have been a really bad week into a fix that was quicker than even they had originally quoted. Cool Blew saved my sanity, and deserves way more than 5 stars. My AC went out Aug 4, which as we all know temps reach well over 100. I am a single stay at home mom and student taking online classes, so not only do we stay at home during the hottest part of the day we also have a limited budget. After calling my home warranty and having 3 different service companies come to my house over the span of 20 days. I am told I have to wait an additional 2 weeks for the part. Cool Blew being the last service provider to assist me and by far the most knowledgeable went above and beyond. First, the customer service from the get go was outstanding and understanding as I explained my situation to them. While extremely busy they were still able to squeeze me in for same day service. Secondly, while the part taking 2 weeks was out of everyone's control Cool Blew out of the kindness of their heart delivered a temporary air conditioning unit to me to provide some relief. I am extremely grateful for Cool Blew, Heather, Robert, Robbie, and Office MOM for not just understanding my situation but actually going the extra mile to show they are doing all they can in an unfortunate circumstance. I have utilized Cool Blew for both plumbing and A/C needs on three different properties over the past two years with zero issues. Perfect customer service on all items. Techs always available when needed and they've been very courteous & professional. They've also shown up on time, every single time. They've always taken the time to explain details, costs and procedures. Even done cost/warranty comparisons on different products for me and honestly advised me if their product (ie: hybrid water heater) was better than what I had researched/sourced out. Not sure why there are a few negative reviews here, suppose it follows the saying "that you only hear the bad and never the good." Or something like that. I would recommend them over any company, any time. Spring of last year, I had Cool Blew install a new hybrid water heater and an Aquasana whole house water conditioner system. One visit to see site, one visit to install. This required new water lines to separate house water from landscaping/pool fill water and configuring the "bulky" Aquasana system with a completely different water heater than we were replacing. It wasn't a problem for them. It's almost a year later and no problems with any of it. I would give Cool Blew ten stars, if possible, for both plumbing and a/c-heat service. read more

We first encountered Cool Blew several years ago through our home warranty company, One Guard. Techs have always been on time, professional, covered their shoes inside the house, and knowledgeable. The tech who answered a service call several years ago was Johnny and he was excellent. Knows what he is doing, is very professional, always asks if I have any questions and answers questions honestly and thoroughly. I always specifically request Johnny when I call One Guard to schedule service. Earlier this month (November) when Cool Blew came to do a Fall Tune Up on our heat pump unit, Johnny was mentoring an "apprentice tech", Robbie, who was working with him. Johnny and Robbie worked diligently and I received a verbal report of the service and status of the unit and a written report as well of all the checks they had made and the results. I have been very satisfied with the service I have received from Cool Blew over the last five or six years we have been using them. I would give this company Negative Stars If I could. They are crooked and do not do the right thing. I had them out to look at 2 units. The first tech said he fixed the issue and charged me for services that were "not covered by the home warranty". The ac was not fixed. They sent someone back out (4 days later at their convenience) and he looked at both units. It ended up taking longer than expected and that he couldn't fix the additional unit because "HIS MANAGER SAID HE WAS OVER TIME AND HAD TO LEAVE". He told me it only needed 2 lbs of refrigerant ($60-70 a lb= $120-$140). I was told a manager would call me- and guess what? THEY NEVER CALLED. Then once I called them back the girl that answered couldn't help and got me Steve the manager. He said they would Charge me ANOTHER diagnostic charge/trip charge... plus the job would require additional charges that the technician did not quote. It was an additional $350. Which now a $120-$140 job will cost $559......... I do not recommend this company as you can see why. Buyer beware. read more

I have had many AC companies out to look at my AC unit through my home warranty company. Cool Blew was recommended after my AC went out 3 times this past summer and Trade Masters did the did the bare minimum and never resolved the issue. Trade Masters said the issue my reversal valve and it would cost me $450 in freon when I had just bought freon just two months prior. One Guard sent Cool Blew out to verify and check out my unit. Ricky from Cool Blew did a complete inspection and found 4 leaks/ two in the coils and recommended a new unit. Ricky was amazing I never saw a technician that was so knowledgeable and walked through what was wrong. Cool Blew and One Guard worked to install and replace both the inside and outside units. Rick and Matt from Cool Blew came by and review the installer's work. They were great. Robbie and Jimmy are the best to work with. Jimmy, Robbie, and Ricky made my experience the Best. I would highly recommend them and ask for Ricky or Jimmy. I appreciate all the work Jimmy did the most. read more

My AC had stopped working last week so I called my Home Warranty company to send some to look at it. Sadly the company they had assigned to me never got in touch with me for almost 4 days. I left so many voice messages but no luck. After being frustrated I called my home warranty company & asked them to assign me someone else. They forwarded me to Cool Blew. This company is exceptional good, quick & professional. I called them the same day, phone was answered by Robert who told me someone will call you in 30 mins to schedule an appointment. Immediately Heather called, heard my frustration, assured me someone will be there in the afternoon between 1:00 - 4:00 pm & that is exactly what happened. Stay away from this company, something is not right. I have been working with them through my home warranty since July 4th and my air conditioner still does not work. They have been out at the least 15 times if not more. I have asked them for the work orders and invoices and have yet to get them. They replaced 6 things in the outside unit, condenser, compressor, and 4 other things, all but the coil. Plus the thermostat. The Air handler in the attic was replaced and they made us pay $1000.00. The home warranty sent another company out but they would not do any work until Cool Blew fixed something in the attic that was not done properly. We are at our wit's end and do not know what to do at this point. They came back out Saturday and last night Monday night it was not working again. The only AC company I would ever trust completely to repair my units is Cool Blew. I have two AC units for my home and I have had to get each repaired now. Both times I have called Cool Blew and both times they have been great to work with. The office is really polite and professional and the field guys are incredibly proficient at their repairs. My neighbor used these guys a few years ago and Jimmie was their technician, they were so happy with him that when I called the first time I asked for him to be our guy. He came out and he was great to deal with, he was polite and explained what he was needing to do to fix our issue. Recently we had Chris come out and the experience was just the same. I'm surprised by the low ratings on this company. Our family loves Cool Blew now! Our AC went out in the middle of July. Other companies wanted me to wait several days to come to my home. My home warranty company got Cool Blew to come the same day. The tech that came was super friendly and knowledgeable. He showed up on time which is unheard of these days! He told us he didn't want to bring his tools through the house because he didn't want to chip our wood. He had the AC working again in minutes. Our little family couldn't be more thankful. We were going to have to find another place to stay that night if we didn't get it fixed. Thank you Cool Blew! The tech that came out was Chris I believe, but our receipt says Gilbert. New to Yelp, but a few weeks ago I called Cool Blew to schedule a second opinion on a bad compressor and get a quote on a unit replacement. The person who answered my call was so rude! I could not believe how bad I was treated on the phone like I was so annoying for calling to get an estimate from there company. Terrible customer service! They really need to fix that issue if that's what people get when they call I can't see anyone wanting to use there services. I tried putting money in your pocket? Why treat me like I am calling to complain or get a refund? I'm sorry it's so hard for you to schedule an estimate on a big paying job! I just had to kick their tech out of my house for being a prick, I had my home warranty old republic schedule and pay them to come out and that my thermostat was missing a screw when their were all the screws their to make the connection he wanted to charge me $180 to move one screw to a different socket literally centimeters over. And saying that he doesnt work for free when in fact my home warranty has paid them to come service me and that it only covered 1 hour dude has been here for 20 minutes and I told him I would move the screw for him and he kept going on about getting more money, he wouldn't even leave my house when I told him to leave I had to escort him out . Beware of this bait and switch company they are thieves and arrogant people. read more
