Pot of beans and House Baked Rolls
    Mary F.

We were seated right away. LED down a very dark hallway, into a very dark dining area, had to ask to sit where there was more light! Iced tea and coffee served up quickly. After some difficulty with menu we decided on the Tri tip sandwich with chicken pot pie soup and fries. I ordered the prime rib French dip also with chicken pot pie soup and fries. We also got a pot of delicious beans, and hot rolls with butter. Very good! Then our soup came within minutes, and our meal shortly after, seeming like we got it all together. Backing up, the soup was amazing, the spices perfect! It was steaming hot and very creamy, I would say it was the best I have had!. My sandwich looked beautiful, but I was already full. So I came home. I would love to go back and just have soup, rolls and beans! It would be perfect! MY sandwich is picture perfect so I am sure it will be good. We will have to go back, hoping for better service. We were never offered more drinks, we had to ask for take home containers 3 times, and we noticed the people next to us had asked for dressing and gravy on the side and they had to send three item back because they didn't do as asked. Their only job is to listen carefully and deliver meals as preferred. If not then service is not good, sadly.

The manager treated me horrible and was rude and very unprofessional. All because I wanted the blue cheese topper I ordered wasn't on my 40 something Dollar steak and I asked to get it melted on there. She said she would bring me some blue cheese, I said I'd like it to be melted on my steak. She told me she'd bring me some melted blue cheese in a plastic ramekin, I again said that I'd really like it to be melted on my steak the way I ordered it please. She reluctantly took my plate walked out of her way to the bar and told the bartender to charge me for a blue cheese topper. To which the bartender replied that she did when she put in the order. The manager didn't like that, she took my plate to the back smeared some blue cheese on my steak did not melt it and came right back and almost threw my plate down. It looked like shit and I said hay but was didn't stop on her way to the back. I called the bartender over and told her the the lady was extremely rude and I wasn't going to eat my steak she said she still had to charge me for my salad and tea. She also informed me that was her manager and her name was Cathy. I paid my tab and still tipped. I don't suggest this place to anyone.

Food was good, not great. A little pricey for the amount you get. I hadn't been in years, but we were given a gift card at Christmas so thought we'd try it again. Our waiter was great! We were a party of 12, it was a Saturday night so it was busy. Our waiter hustled. Not sure if they were short on bartenders, but the drink service was bad! Took forever, even in the not crowded bar we visited after dinner for a night cap! I think I'd be willing to try it again. The side salad I got with my chicken sandwich was pretty basic. Literally chopped iceberg lettuce. Hubby said his steak and baked potato are better at home and half the price!

The food has always been good. The service is a little hit or miss. We usually go in between lunch and dinner to miss the crowd. We do like to eat in the bar. The environment is low key and with the TVs, we can watch the different sports games that might be playing.

    Extremely underwhelming for $38.

This is a solid 3 star. It has the feel of a Texas restaurant type of place and the look of it. The service was amazing. Connor did a great job serving our table. That's as far as this place goes. I guess since it's a restaurant then it should be known for its food. So really, this place should be a 2 star. Portions were a good size (minus the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. Don't get this if you're hungry.) But NONE of the food was that great. Felt like I was at a college campus eating dinner at their cafeteria. I don't know how else to describe it. Everything was so below mediocre. It was all edible... but it was so.....eh. Drinks were all sugary concoctions so I didn't even bother.

It's been awhile since my last review. My previous reviews were knocked for service. I was drawn back in for their Steak and Bake special. Get this: choice of soup or salad, ranch beans, rolls, small steak and a baked potato with fixings all for under $16!!! And on top of this, they give a military discount! And it's all day everyday! Food is fantastic and service has gotten much better.

They didn't make them, refrigerate them, plate them, or serve them. Apparently the cupcakes were just undocumented pastries crossing the Colton's border. It's not the $10 folks, it's the nickel-and-diming. Ranch? 50¢. Reservation? There's a fee. Birthday cupcakes after dropping $450? Another $10. What else is on the secret menu? Extra napkin, 75¢? Another lemon in my tea--do I need financing? Second straw--hard credit pull? We've enjoyed Colton's food, but we'll be taking a break due to their nickel and diming policies. There are too many good restaurants around town that value their customers to spend $450 and still get shaken down for cupcake money and ranch fees!!

We headed in at an odd time yesterday around 230pm. It was late for lunch and too early for dinner. Nevertheless, we were seated in the front dining area, and ordered some entrees. The menu offers a lot of familiar favorites that you would expect to see at a a bar/ restaurant. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a few specialty plates. For my meal, I ordered The Local burger (no pickles of course) which was absolutely fantastic. Piled high with cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes - this burger was executed to perfection. I ordered it medium, and it came out medium (imagine that). The best part was the sunny side egg that was placed on top. That first bite was heavenly. The yolk breaks, and all the goodness adds a little extra flavor to the already delicious burger. The shoe string fries were seasoned perfectly- I highly recommend this entree. The only thing I would add next time is an element of spice to take things up to another level. My wife ordered the BLTA sandwich , with sweet potato fries. I didn't try a bite because I had enough bacon on my burger , but I did sneak a sweet potato fry , and it was fantastic. My son order the chimichurri steak , he seemed to enjoy it although it may have had too much sauce on it for his liking. Perhaps it would been better if he ordered the sauce on the side. My picky daughter ordered the pesto chicken sandwich ,and she said it was pretty good. My family and I were full , but weren't going to let the dessert options pass us by. My family has a sweet tooth. We all shared the chocolate cake and bread pudding . Both are nice options if you need something sweet to top off your meal. The food and vibe of this place deserves 5 stars. I will deduct one star for the mediocre service and inconsistent food prep. Our meals were coming out one by one which made it awkward when trying to eat together. Our server didn't offer refills on our drinks , and didn't bring us utensils -until we asked for them. I will be back to try more menu items , and enjoy a cold beer while watching the game.

The Local gets the job done if you need a quick bite during the work day. I tried the BBQ Bleu Burger, which comes loaded with bleu cheese crumbles, BBQ sauce, bacon jam, fried onions, and the usual burger fixings. The burger itself was generously sized, but the patty was underseasoned, and the dominant flavors were mainly the bleu cheese and BBQ sauce. My wife ordered the pesto chicken sandwich and felt it lacked flavor. Our kids split the mac & cheese and a grilled cheese sandwich, but neither was a hit. Even the grilled cheese went mostly untouched, by my kids which was unexpected. On the plus side, the outdoor patio is cozy and looks like a great spot for fall dining with a drink in hand. They also offer brunch, though it's available by reservation only.

We were made to feel comfortable from the start, and every interaction with the staff was professional without ever feeling overbearing. They were knowledgeable about the menu, happy to answer questions, and made the evening feel effortless. The fresh pasta is the undeniable star of the meal. You can immediately taste the care that goes into making it in-house, with a perfect texture and beautiful bite that elevates every dish. The seasonal Corn Agnolotti was outstanding. The sweet corn filling was vibrant, fresh, and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The flavors were delicate yet well-balanced, allowing the natural sweetness of the corn to shine without overwhelming the palate. It was a simple dish executed exceptionally well. The portions were thoughtfully sized, allowing us to enjoy multiple courses without leaving the table feeling overly full. Every plate was beautifully presented, and the quality of the ingredients justified the price point. Overall, this restaurant delivers exactly what you hope for from an elevated Italian dining experience: exceptional handmade pasta, refined flavors, attentive service, and an inviting atmosphere. We came for our 12 year anniversary and the staff were quick, nice, and attentive. The buffet type items were all pretty good. Nice range on the charcuterie. For dessert, we got crème brûlée which was just okay. Easy to skip. Small detail, but they didn't have any kind of complimentary anniversary treat (at least mot for us lol). Every other nicer (and even not as nice) restaurant we've been to for our anniversaries/birthdays came with either champagne or a dessert to celebrate. They did go through with decorating what we ordered though. Not a huge deal, but just something to note if you're planning to celebrate anything. Overall, we'll definitely be back again.
