On a Super Bowl stroll wandering in San Francisco this Boba shop place is one of my favorites and it's located in Russian Hill. They serve everything from Ube Vietnamese coffee to Tiramisu lattes. They serve sweet and the sour in SF. I had to try the Matcha Royale- Strawberry with a splash of mango. The drink was colorful with bright red strawberry and Matcha green. It was not too sweet and the strawberry was a bit sweet and the splash of mango made it tasty. The ceremonial matcha was smooth and just right for Don Juan de la Matcha. I also had to try the red velvet cake. It was a little sweet but delicious. Overall a good place to get a cold boba on ice in San Francisco for any occasion including the Super Bowl. I surveyed the interior and it is very similar to the previous business with the bright pink decor and the bears lined in various areas of the store. The gal who made my drinks kindly packed them in a carrier bag to take to my car. Thanks to Hayley for putting my order together and it's always nice to see smiles from staff as I thank them and leave. I look forward to returning to try other drinks on the menu.

A lot of other customers were waiting just as long. I overheard several people say they had already been waiting 45 minutes too. You could see people getting impatient. What surprised me most was that the staff never acknowledged the delay. No apology, no update, nothing. Everyone was just standing around wondering when their order would come out. The drink was good, but the wait and lack of communication made the experience frustrating. If they can improve the order flow and at least acknowledge long waits, this place could be much better.

The sweet potatoes are still good as well, reliably crispy, salty, and savory. I only tried a little of the popcorn chicken, but thought the texture and flavor was good as well. Overall, it's a solid place to get inexpensive boba and snacks.

The reason for this review is to address the lack of consideration and customer service from the hispanic male staff member working that night. Instead of listening to the concern, the staff was dismissive and rude, repeatedly saying things like "all I do is press these buttons" and "this is what you ordered," without acknowledging the customer's experience or concern about the quality of the drink. Although the drink was eventually remade, the staff did so while visibly frustrated, slamming cabinets and displaying negative energy throughout the interaction. It created an uncomfortable experience, especially considering how polite and understanding the customer had been. Customer service and basic courtesy matter just as much as the product itself. Unfortunately, after witnessing that interaction, I do not plan on returning. Please teach your staff to be polite and understanding.
