This just means he loves his job and serving his customers. The sign says they have plenty to choose from and they absolutely do have plenty to choose from. As I was sitting waiting for my order the guest before us ordered a cup of the famous pineapple sweet tea to go then after tasting it they came back in and ordered a gallon of the pineapple sweet tea. I was impressed because I heard her say she didn't like flavored tea. I ordered 6 lemon pepper wings and 6 garlic Parmesan wings with fried okra and Mac and cheese and southern cornbread muffin. I made sure I ordered the pineapple sweet tea. The wings were OK, I enjoyed the garlic parmesan better than the lemon pepper wings. The lemon pepper wings have a very strong lemon taste which wasn't horrible just overly strong for me. The fried okra had a good flavor and the mac and cheese was to die for I enjoyed the pineapple sweet tea the most. I wanted to try the peach cobbler for dessert but they were sold out. The garlic noodles with chicken were a standout surprise -- buttery, fresh-tasting, and nicely balanced without being overly garlicky. The General Tso's had a pleasant sweetness (I personally wouldn't mind a little more heat), and the sesame chicken was spot-on. Both dishes used quality cuts of chicken -- tender and not that tough, chewy takeout texture you sometimes get. But the real star? The kung pao Brussels sprouts. Wow. Perfect char, just the right amount of sauce, and loaded with scallions and peanuts for great texture.
