I came by this place, wanting some good boba. My bf recommended this popular boba shop based on the long lines that's typically seen. Thankfully, when we went, there was barely a line, so this was the perfect opportunity to try this place out. I was torn with a final choice, since there were so many delicious offerings! I settled on the Matcha Cortado Creamomo. This was one of the best Matcha's that I've had! The matcha was bright green, sweet and creamy and I loved that this drink also had Gyokuru Green Tea. so blessed to have an omomo in sd after moving from oc. it's my favorite boba spot!! their drinks are so good and i always have a rotation. i typically only like one drink per boba spot, so it says a lot that i like many at omomo my go to drinks are a strawberry tornado less sweet, omomo matcha less sweet add oreo, and an oreo green milk tea. i also love the peach tornado when in season during the summer. they're always consistent, which is why i love omomo. the lines never get as long as irvine's (maybe i'm lucky). their system is quick and efficient. the only con is the lack of seating. read more

This has always been our favorite boba shop ever since they opened a few years ago. My daughter's favorite is the Omomo Matcha. On this particular visit, she ordered this and added Oreo cookies that were blended into the drink. You have to try this combination if you haven't already! The Oreo topping was extra, but it's worth it! The Omomo Matcha is my usual drink as well, but another favorite is the Taro Fresh Milk. It's basically a taro paste with fresh milk added. I like to convince myself that I'm just getting my daily intake of calcium. The sweetness comes from the taro paste. If you're a fan of taro, then you may like this drink. The line here is usually long, so to save yourself some time, online ordering is available. Note this boba shop is for take out only, there is no seating indoor or outdoor. The decor is simple and tasteful. When you walk in (after you make it through the long line), there is a glass mirror with the menu options. Place your order at the counter and step aside. You'll get a ticket with a number and they call out that number at the pick up counter. The wait time after you place your order is about 10-15 minutes, depending on how crowded it is. It lives up to its reputation and there's a line for a reason. I haven't been here in almost a year now and yet my drink was still consistently good as it had always been. The BEST matcha lattes in San Diego!!! I am obsessed bc of the high quality of ingredients you can taste! They use ceremonial grade matcha and strong flavorful teas. My go to is the Magnolia matcha which is matcha powder mixed in with their magnolia tea and milk (oat, regular, almond mixed together for a creamy texture) and I always add the tiramisu cream cheese topping / all for $7.25 and the cup is huge! which blows Starbucks always and other coffee shops. This time I tried the gyokuro creamomo and it was really good! I had the drink the next day and even though it was watered down from the ice it was still very flavorful. It's nice that it's also an antioxidant! The omomo matcha always hits too! The server was very helpful when helping me choose a drink. I've only tried their Matcha Slushy so far, and it is to die for. The Matcha flavor is strong and authentic, balanced perfectly with just the right amount of sweetness. The texture is smooth--not overly icy like some slushies--and the boba pearls were soft, chewy, and clearly fresh. This location doesn't have a sitting area, and the ambience is just okay. It can get a little dusty inside, which makes it feel less clean than I'd like. The service is friendly, though they do have some unusual rules (like not allowing photos of your drink being made). Depending on the time of day, it can also get pretty packed. Overall, I'd still give this spot a 10/10--especially if you love Matcha. Omomo, an Irvine staple, has finally made its way down to San Diego! I went to UCI and let me tell you, the day Omomo opened up back in 2018 was monumental. It quickly became all the range and you couldn't walk 2 feet on campus without seeing someone holding an Omomo cup. Fast forward to today, their location in Del Mar absolutely lives up to the hype and quality standards. As it's the only one in San Diego, the lines can get pretty long, but the team works fast and does their best to keep it moving. You really can't go wrong with a drink from here. I'm glad I did because this was probably one of the best green Matcha milk teas that I've had in a long time. The 50% sweetness was perfect for me and like everyone raves about there is so much in the flavor profile of this milk tea that's not too strong of a tea and not too strong of a milk but a perfect balance of both, and you have the Boba, which was fresh. The store seems to run fairly well. It's decorated nicely and they move things along like a machine. So much more to try in the future and I will definitely be back because this is a great bubble place and it rivals my other favorite, which is Yun. read more

One of my top places to get boba. I'm from Arizona so every time I'm in california I always make a stop here. I love their black jade or ceylon milk tea. I heard their matcha drinks are good too (except the matcha cortado). Their tiramisu latte drink is also really good, it taste just like a tiramisu. The only thing that sucks about this place is there is almost always a line (at least when I go, aka weekends) so be prepared to wait at least 15 min. I've waited up to 45 before. There's no space to sit inside and sometimes there's no tables outside so it's more of a grab and go. If the wait is only like 15 min I say it's worth. read more

Against my better judgment, I took a risk and headed over. It's about a 20-minute trip for me without traffic, so any visit is at least 40 minutes in driving alone. I arrived at 8:02 pm. The sign they affix to the front of their POS kiosk was visible from the door. Two items were unavailable and one of them was brown sugar boba. A lack of brown sugar boba in the last ~hour of operation with some regularity sounds far less like a real stock issue and more like they don't want to make more since it might result in product wastage. Instead, they opt to inconvenience their customers rather than themselves. Businesses have to be efficient, yes, but it's occurred far too often to not merit a change in practices. I enjoy their quality and taste, but recurring availability issues forced my hand in lowering the rating. read more
