OMOMO is now in SD and is a welcome addition to the growing boba scene. They are located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they do not have any seating so this one is more of a grab and go spot. Wifey got the Bee Peachy (new seasonal item) and I got the Orange Yakult. Both drinks were super refreshing and all of the staff here are friendly and welcoming.
Their peach cream cortado is an ADDICTION!! The wait times have also decreased to a bearable level haha always a good service and friendly interactions
Delicious fruit and milk tea (tea forward) drinks. Theres always a line since this spot is popular and the only SD location. Prices are market price for "higher end boba". You can adjust your sugar and ice levels and add cheese foam and/or other toppings. I got the grapefruit slushy which was refreshing and delicious and a Jade milk tea. Inside is small-ish, no seating it's an order and go spot. Parking is easy in the lot, it's near the back corner by the bank.
I came by this place, wanting some good boba. My bf recommended this popular boba shop based on the long lines that's typically seen. Thankfully, when we went, there was barely a line, so this was the perfect opportunity to try this place out. I was torn with a final choice, since there were so many delicious offerings! I settled on the Matcha Cortado Creamomo. This was one of the best Matcha's that I've had! The matcha was bright green, sweet and creamy and I loved that this drink also had Gyokuru Green Tea. Paired with the chewy and fresh honey boba, this place is now in my boba rotation! Love the clean, modern vibe of this place and would definitely try some other flavors next time I'm in the area.

On this particular visit, she ordered this and added Oreo cookies that were blended into the drink. You have to try this combination if you haven't already! The Oreo topping was extra, but it's worth it! The Omomo Matcha is my usual drink as well, but another favorite is the Taro Fresh Milk. It's basically a taro paste with fresh milk added. I like to convince myself that I'm just getting my daily intake of calcium. The sweetness comes from the taro paste. If you're a fan of taro, then you may like this drink. The line here is usually long, so to save yourself some time, online ordering is available. Note this boba shop is for take out only, there is no seating indoor or outdoor. The decor is simple and tasteful. When you walk in (after you make it through the long line), there is a glass mirror with the menu options. Place your order at the counter and step aside. You'll get a ticket with a number and they call out that number at the pick up counter. The wait time after you place your order is about 10-15 minutes, depending on how crowded it is. It's worth the wait!
You know the feeling when a shop is really busy and the line is out the door and yet you still stand in line for a hot minute and still order? Omomo's one of those places. It lives up to its reputation and there's a line for a reason. I haven't been here in almost a year now and yet my drink was still consistently good as it had always been. The shop is small, cute, clean, and the service is fast despite the insane crowds. I highly recommend this place. So happy there's an Omomo in SD now! The wait isn't as intense as the Irvine location and it tastes exactly the same. I ordered the omomo matcha 50% sugar with brown sugar boba and it was perfect. Exactly how I remember it from Irvine. Unfortunately there is no seating. It's just grab and go.
Love this quaint boba shop that's exploded in popularity. I saw reviews warning of long lines, so I came right after work on a weekday and the wait wasn't too bad. I got the Black Jade Milk Tea with pudding, 80% sweet with less ice, and it was delicious! I loved the flavor with the pudding texture (sweet but not too sweet), and the price was about as much as a fancier latte at a coffee shop. There's no sitting room, which makes service go a little faster in my opinion. Definitely worth visiting again.

My new favorite is the OMOMO matcha, kinda more of a dessert than matcha, but so creamy and satisfying and the matcha flavor is there. 100% sugar is a bit sweet for me so I would get less sugar. A must when in SD! Decided to try this place due to its popularity, and I totally understand the love for it! I got the Mango Tornado with boba. I wish there was less cream and more mango but still delicious. The store itself is modern and nice. Considering the amount of drinks we ordered, it came out in a timely manner.
The BEST matcha lattes in San Diego!!! I am obsessed bc of the high quality of ingredients you can taste! They use ceremonial grade matcha and strong flavorful teas. My go to is the Magnolia matcha which is matcha powder mixed in with their magnolia tea and milk (oat, regular, almond mixed together for a creamy texture) and I always add the tiramisu cream cheese topping / all for $7.25 and the cup is huge! which blows Starbucks always and other coffee shops. They also sell coffee drinks here that I have not tried but I bet the quality is supreme to other places. Will never go anywhere else! I am a loyal die hard customer for life!
I had to run an errand up north and I decided to check out this place. I did hear good reviews. This boba place was in the Del Mar Highlands Town center. I'm never in this area and I was happy to see it was surrounded by other stores and goodies. (Sidecar Doughnut and Coffee is a few doors down) The decor was very minimal, screams zen, similar muted palette of tan, light green, black colors. I sat outside in my car for a few minutes while the line went down. The place was very busy but the staff seemed to get the orders out pretty quickly. I liked that their menu was on a glass mirror, it was neat but a bit hard to read. I got 3 drinks: 1. Grapefruit Smash-A refreshing and tart grapefruit slushy blended with fresh grapefruit juice. (added lychee jellies and cheese foam) My sister loved this drink, she said it was delicious. 5/5 2. MATCHA CORTADO CREAMOMO- A layered matcha milk tea mixed with our gyokuro green tea, premium matcha powder, and sweetened house milk, topped with Tiramisu or Cheese Foam. (added coffee jellies, not the best mix) My niece is a fan of matcha, so I got this one for them. They did like it, but probably would have liked the Omono Matcha instead but that one was frozen and I did not want their drink to melt. (they were going to drink it much later) 4/5 3. Thai Ice Milk tea-(added boba and cheese foam) A strongly brewed and spiced black tea mixed with our sweetened house milk. I got this drink, I was a little bit weary since I normally can't have milk, but the staff noted it wasn't tons of milk. Plus they use their 'sweetened' milk. I drank it over time and thankfully it did not upset my tummy. The boba was insanely soft and chewy, just the way boba should be. I'm a super fan of cheese foam and this didn't disappoint. That salty foam goodness on top is so tasty. 5/5 I will definitely come back again if I'm in the area. Ambiance 5/5 Food: 4.6.5 Service: 5/5
Worth the hype! I dropped by on a Wednesday evening, and surprise surprise - no line! I ordered the matcha cortado creamomo with tiramisu cream, and it was SO GOOD. 50% sweet, but 100% delicious. Service is courteous, ambiance is hip, drinks are made fresh and worth the price. I'll be back for sure.

This milk tea was absolutely delicious! The boba was perfectly cooked, soft, chewy, and just right. I got my drink at 30% sweetness, and it was honestly perfect- not too sweet and not lacking sweetness at all. Exactly what I wanted! I went on a Monday afternoon and only waited about five minutes max to place my order. The staff inside were also so nice and welcoming. Such a great spot for a refreshing milk tea! We just found our newest favorite bubble milk tea shop!! We actually passed by last week, but the line was insanely long and we were pressed with time, so we weren't able to go. This time, we were lucky enough as the line wasn't too long. I absolutely loved the chic, minimalist aesthetic of the place. It was clean, bright and lively inside. The staff who helped us was very friendly and enthusiastically explained differences in drinks as it was our first time trying their stuff. Service was also fairly quick. What we tried: Black Jade Milk Tea Creamomo with B&W Boba Cocoa Latte Creamomo with Brown Sugar Boba Matcha Cortado Creamomo The drink that stood out to me the most was the Cocoa Latte Creamomo--it tasted like the perfect and most indulgent iced chocolate drink you'll ever have in your life and not get sick of it. The cheese foam on top just added more depth and complexity to the flavor of the drink. We asked for the sugar level to be at 80% and thought that sweetness was just right. Another thing of note--if you are a matcha lover, please, for the love of everything holy, get their Matcha Cortado. We got ours creamomo style and it was DIVINE. The matcha flavor was bold and intense without the drink getting overly earthy or bitter. We chose to have this drink at 100% sugar level and it was *perfection*. Their boba was also pretty much how you'd want your boba in every bubble tea drink to be--soft and chewy without that irritatingly hard center. Chef's. Kiss. Very clean and modern Tea/boba shop. Innovative drinks, multiple flavor combinations, variety of boba pearls. They do blended drinks with fresh fruits. Lots of seasonal drinks and specials. I don't love their long lines and also the menu is very hard to read (white print on glass). Other then that, the drinks are excellent, prices fair, cup sizes are generous. read more

I loved the drink I ordered. It's the mango tornado with boba. Loved the fresh mango bits in the drink. I ordered it with 80% sweetness which was perfect. Only thing iI wish was if they added more boba. They're not as generous as other places. Nonetheless the boba was fresh, soft and chewy. This drink was $8. I will definitely return for more! read more
Not much of a line as of this day. First time trying them, got the oreo creme brulee green tea with boba. It is yummy as expected, but I wish I tried just the base first. The oreo taste was so overpowering that it was basically just drinking oreo, which I love, but I wasn't able to taste the quality of the tea as is. Everything was quick, barely any line. Overall yummy drink. I'll come back again and try other ones next time. read more
I love the drinks here! I think they have the best drinks throughout san diego personally. The service here is amazing as they are always so welcoming! The interior is very pretty but sadly there are no seats and is an order and go type of place which is fine. I love Omomo! And u love that the lines for this location are not as crazy as the ones in the OC haha. My favorites are always the seasonal drinks: banana latte and itchy peachy. The drinks are a little sweet so I do recommend getting half sweet. There's plenty of parking at this entire plaza is huge and filled with many shops and activities for all ages. I do want to note that there's no seating inside this Tea Shoppe, so it is a quick grab and go. read more
Omomo is out of the way for me so it's rare for me to visit. But when I am in the area, I love to get drinks here. Everything I have tried has always been so good. The quality never misses! This time I tried the gyokuro creamomo and it was really good! I had the drink the next day and even though it was watered down from the ice it was still very flavorful. It's nice that it's also an antioxidant! The omomo matcha always hits too! The server was very helpful when helping me choose a drink. She gave me recommendations on which cream I should pair with the gyokuro. The shop is tiny, so there aren't any tables inside. read more

I've only tried their Matcha Slushy so far, and it is to die for. The Matcha flavor is strong and authentic, balanced perfectly with just the right amount of sweetness. The texture is smooth--not overly icy like some slushies--and the boba pearls were soft, chewy, and clearly fresh. This location doesn't have a sitting area, and the ambience is just okay. It can get a little dusty inside, which makes it feel less clean than I'd like. The service is friendly, though they do have some unusual rules (like not allowing photos of your drink being made). Depending on the time of day, it can also get pretty packed. Overall, I'd still give this spot a 10/10--especially if you love Matcha. I've heard their other drinks are also worth trying, so I'll definitely be back. read more
Recommended by a colleague and drove by on my way home. Matcha was nice. I usually order 1/4 sugar so the matcha really shines. Def a good pick me up! My wife got the watermelon with boba and really liked the fact the fruit was super fresh. read more

Omomo, an Irvine staple, has finally made its way down to San Diego! I went to UCI and let me tell you, the day Omomo opened up back in 2018 was monumental. It quickly became all the range and you couldn't walk 2 feet on campus without seeing someone holding an Omomo cup. Fast forward to today, their location in Del Mar absolutely lives up to the hype and quality standards. As it's the only one in San Diego, the lines can get pretty long, but the team works fast and does their best to keep it moving. You really can't go wrong with a drink from here. Some of my favorites are the Fruit Tornados, Avocado Smash, and, of course, their Omomo Matcha. Fresh ingredients, beautiful drinks, and aesthetic branding make for the perfect recipe of a top tier boba shop. read more
I am honestly sad and I will tell you why because my Uji green milk tea with brown sugar boba was all done. At first, I wondered if this tea shop would live up to the hype and the long lines that always exist on a weekend. I was in the neighborhood so I decided to try it out because I always heard good reviews about the Orange County location and that they had the shop open in San Diego. Lo and behold the line was long, but not as crazy as I've seen it before so I thought to myself I'm gonna give it a try. I'm glad I did because this was probably one of the best green Matcha milk teas that I've had in a long time. The 50% sweetness was perfect for me and like everyone raves about there is so much in the flavor profile of this milk tea that's not too strong of a tea and not too strong of a milk but a perfect balance of both, and you have the Boba, which was fresh. The store seems to run fairly well. It's decorated nicely and they move things along like a machine. So much more to try in the future and I will definitely be back because this is a great bubble place and it rivals my other favorite, which is Yun. read more
One of my top places to get boba. I'm from Arizona so every time I'm in california I always make a stop here. I love their black jade or ceylon milk tea. I heard their matcha drinks are good too (except the matcha cortado). Their tiramisu latte drink is also really good, it taste just like a tiramisu. The only thing that sucks about this place is there is almost always a line (at least when I go, aka weekends) so be prepared to wait at least 15 min. I've waited up to 45 before. There's no space to sit inside and sometimes there's no tables outside so it's more of a grab and go. If the wait is only like 15 min I say it's worth. read more

Dear Yelp Community, First time visiting this company. Regarding the menu and taste, I now know why this company is popular. I really enjoyed my drink! Ambiance inside is good, as well (clean and minimalist). Staff was friendly, and no matter how long the line, took the time to explain the menu to me as a first-time visitor. I love this place! All their drinks are divine, the boba is always good, and there's plenty flavors are consistent. I've been loving the omomo matcha and the jasmine matcha creamomo. Service is quick and the inside is pretty and kept clean. No seating so more of a grab and go. Definitely coming back for more! read more
If you want real tea drinks, this is the place!! We got Uji green milk tea with matcha brulee. My daughter and I love it it has strong tea flavor which we love!! It's so good that we want to come back to try more!! The place is so modern, clean, and quiet. They have one door going in and one door going out. Service is fast and good! I can smell the tea when I walked in which is always a good sign!! I love tea drink with real tea flavor. If you do too, you would love this place!! read more

First time here and found the drink to be refreshing and delicious. Loved the chewy topping which was made of tofu. It also had a cheese foam with the strawberry watermelon slushy. The shopping center is in is pretty busy, but we found parking fairly easily. There was a short line when we got there but it doubled in size by the time we got out. It seems like a very popular and busy place. The staff was super quick and friendly, and a place was well lit and clean. read more
