Bacon breakfast sandwich and honey latte were alright. There were 3 workers and none of them seem to like their job much, shows in their attitude. Made faces laughed/ commented about certain customers under their breath but it's an open bar so not many places to hide that

Inconsistent. The coffee tastes different and sour every time. The staff are too busy talking to work. I wish it was better as it's really conveniently located for me. EDIT I don't know what is going on at this place but the drama is off the charts. Getting messages from one of them accusing me of some weird shit on behalf of Maddie.

A hidden gem right near Del Amo mall. I ordered a café mocha, it was perfectly made and delicious. For food I had the avocado toast, and it was so fresh with a generous portion. Has a lemony kick (the use chili oil), a perfect touch. The place is very clean, warm, and inviting, and the staff is incredibly kind. Can't wait to come back!

First time there, coffee wasn't the best but the blueberry muffin was good. Customer service was okay. Nice place to study.

Copa Vida is located inside of an office building. There is free parking in the structure outside. As soon as you walk into the building, Copa Vida is on the left hand side! The interior of Copa Vida is really cute, & it looks like a great place to study or read. However, I just wasn't impressed with their drinks at all. I ordered an iced honey latte with oat milk & almost couldn't even drink it. I usually get oat milk at other coffee shops, but they must use a different brand here because it was very grainy & almost tasted like rice. The coffee was smooth, but the oat milk flavor was just very off putting. It also isn't a sweet drink, so keep that in mind if that's what you're looking for. My sister ordered the peppermint mocha, a seasonal drink. I thought the portion was very small for the price. It looks even smaller than a tall at starbucks. The peppermint was better than my drink, but it was bitter. If I were to come back, I'd stick to regular milk & avoid oat milk.

This is a really low-key cafe located in a large commercial office building so it's tucked away and not easy to find from the main streets. It's adjacent to a large parking structure. Their menu hosts some typical breakfast sandwiches, burritos and avocado toast. They serve a good assortment of coffees and teas. Overall, decent food and drinks. There was only one barista working while I was here, but she was friendly and fast. The inside is simple and clean with lots of seating. They have good chill music. It's a perfect place to get some work done or a good site for an out-of-office meeting. There's also a nice little courtyard right outside with patio tables/chairs, umbrellas, and some lounge chairs.

Very excited to see Copa Vida in Torrance! No more driving to Pasadena. :-) Coffee drinks are very solid and strong. My go-to are simple.. expresso with oatmilk, or cappuccino. Located inside of the Torrance business building next to Denny's/ across from Norsstroms. There is plenty of garage parking.

The good: There's plenty of parking and plen-tea of tea options! I liked the seasonal options like the yuzu matcha. They had plenty of tea options and tea latte options. I tried the brûlée mint tea and liked the frothy foam. I like the modern interior and trendy outdoor communal space. There are tables and umbrellas. The outside has a mural, bamboo plants, lounge chairs and flowers. I came here to treat myself to a peaceful morning on this rainy June day. They sell cute merchandise that includes travel mugs, ceramic cups, and kettles. The service was great. The worker brought my almond croissant and tea to my table. The bad: The brûlée mint tea latte tasted good but tasted like a London fog with black tea and didn't have mint flavor. The almond croissant was good but the almond paste inside was lacking. Instead, it was oozing with lots of butter (not a bad thing- but was definitely looking for that almond paste!). The interesting: They're located on the first floor of a business building.

Lovely place and ambiance! The outdoor area was very pleasant to work in. I just wish they would extend the wifi somehow because I kept getting disconnected outside. Service was nice and friendly. I got the iced vanilla latte which was good and not bad for the price. Overall, a great low-key place that's not too loud and crowded, great to get work done!

Unfortunately, they didn't have any pastries left other than a couple bagels. I wanted to try their croissants but maybe next time when I'm in the area again. The place is super clean and organized. They have a wifi, an outlet, a couple tables for single or multiple customers as well as comfy couches. The restroom was also clean and smells great. Highly recommend this place. Not only was I able to complete so many tasks but was also able to just relax. Loved the vibe here!

Great Demand, But Poor Convenience for Working Customers…read more I've had The Nook's mushroom coffee before. My best friend took me here on a weekend afternoon, and even then there was a line, although it was manageable and mostly stayed inside the shop. Because of that experience, I knew The Nook was popular, but I wasn't prepared for what I encountered on a weekday morning. I wanted to pick up a coffee before work, so I actually planned ahead. Before leaving home, I checked the mobile website expecting that, given the obvious demand, there might be an order-ahead option. Unfortunately, there isn't one. So I gave myself an additional 30 minutes specifically for parking, waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for the drink to be prepared. I figured that should be more than enough for a morning coffee pickup. I arrived around 7:30 AM, and as I walked toward The Nook from the south side of The Enclave, I could already see the line stretching out of the door and into the courtyard. I was honestly shocked. There were easily 15-20 people ahead of me. I decided to give it a fair chance and got in line. After 10 minutes, the line had barely moved. At that point, I walked out. I understand that popular businesses get busy, especially in the morning. But there is a difference between being busy and having a customer wait in a line of 15-20 people with virtually no movement at 7:30 AM, particularly when there is no mobile ordering or order-ahead option. For a coffee shop with this level of demand, I find the lack of an ordering system especially frustrating. If you're going to consistently have lines extending outside the business during the morning rush, there should be some way for customers who are trying to grab a drink on their way to work to order ahead. And that's really my issue: the customer experience doesn't seem designed for people who need coffee efficiently. If you're coming here on a weekend, have nowhere to be, or are willing to dedicate an unpredictable amount of time to waiting, you may have a completely different experience. But if you're trying to get coffee before work, I would strongly recommend accounting for significantly more time than you think you'll need -- or having a backup plan. I no longer work as close to The Nook, and I don't drink coffee after noon, so I don't have much reason to make a special trip. Unless I'm conveniently nearby and see little to no line, I won't be making another attempt anytime soon. The Nook clearly has a loyal following, but popularity shouldn't come at the expense of basic convenience. If the demand is consistently this high, the ordering process needs to catch up with it.

When I came up, the employees immediately greeted me with a sample of their new Guava CitrusTeafresher which I absolutely loved since I usually do prefer fruit teas over milk teas. I ordered that with less sweetness along with their most popular drink, the Boya Jasmine Green Tea Latte. From what I heard from others, I came in with high expectations of the actual tea itself and thought their drinks would highlight a strong jasmine tea fragrance and flavor. While the Boya Jasmine was a good drink overall, I was slightly let down because the tea flavor was a bit more diluted than I had expected. However, the drink was still pretty solid. Next time I'd probably do less sweet to bring out the tea more. The Guava refresher, on the other hand, was my fave. Unlike other tea spots where their fruit teas are made from syrups and are overly sweet, this genuinely tasted like they had squeezed real Guava in green tea. It was definitely refreshing and the added lime in the drink also brought some tanginess. Service was stellar as well. And I love the concept of being able to sample teas. Overall, my drinks were solid but for a place so popular I expected a tiny bit more. However, I still enjoyed my experience here and will likely come again.
