The coffee is just okay, we get it more out of convenience than anything. The yogurt parfait is surprisingly good. They use really creamy yogurt, the granola is delicious and they put a lot of effort into picking quality fruit.

Great little breakfast/brunch spot along PCH in South Redondo. They had great breakfast burritos and I had an English muffin egg sandwich - it's a much fancier and tastier version of the Egg McMuffin sandwich. The egg done sunny side up with strips of bacon underneath as well as a piece of cheese and a little aioli. Also a good selection of warm and cold drinks to choose from.

Omg, what an AMAZING cafe. Their staff is so friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. My wife and I got their horchata latte. Wasn't too sweet, well balanced and delicious!! We also ordered the omelette to-go and I think I finished it in the car on the way home it was so good. Loved the vibe of the cafe. Felt inviting, great energy, decor is perfect. We own a cafe and they have inspired us to look for a 2nd location! Environments will either expire you or inspire you and La Terraza Redondo will inspire you to come back for more!

This spot has great friendly customer service, super tasty lattes, and good food. Its large outside patio is great if you have a pup. Definitely one of our go-to spots for coffee and a light breakfast

What a cool coffee shop right down the street from the beach . The matcha is smooth and tasty, the fresh muffins are delicious and the breakfast sandwiches are very tasty! I love the coffee here too, service is excellent.

Cute coffee shop in walking distance from the beach. Delish coffee & several vegetarian/vegan options. They have more options than just pastries. You can get breakfast here. Service was great and fast. Definitely will be back when I'm in town next.

I just had the best breakfast burrito! The cafe de la olla was excellent. I'm bringing a friend next time. Good places and good food must be shared!

Ordered a white mocha! pretty good, I wish they had some type of vanilla cold foam here! Parking may be difficult, we had to park on the street.

First time here saw an instagram post and I just had to try it. Ordered the tamales which were delicious, yogurt parfait and the drink I posted. Daniel helped me he was very helpful in helping me make a decision. I sat outside with my pup and he was so kind to bring my order to me as he seen I had my dog. I'll definitely come back and try something new. Oh and there is a view of the beach and it's on the corner of a residential street.

We only got coffee here, but it was great and highly customizable. I had a half horchata half white mocha latte, which was excellent. I paired it with breakfast burrito from the place next door for a great Saturday morning breakfast.

Is this a good space for studying?

Yes indeed. Especially if you snag a seat outdoors, It's a fairly quiet space and the food is excellent. Coffee, food and a chill ambiance for the win!

Yes we do. Any amount. Thanks!

Vegan options for breakfast and lunch?

We have the vegan hummus toast and avocado toast, served all day. We make the hummus in-house from scratch and the bread is supplied by a local baker, both are served with a side salad.

Unfortunately, they didn't have any pastries left other than a couple bagels. I wanted to try their croissants but maybe next time when I'm in the area again. The place is super clean and organized. Great Demand, But Poor Convenience for Working Customers…read more I've had The Nook's mushroom coffee before. My best friend took me here on a weekend afternoon, and even then there was a line, although it was manageable and mostly stayed inside the shop. Because of that experience, I knew The Nook was popular, but I wasn't prepared for what I encountered on a weekday morning. I wanted to pick up a coffee before work, so I actually planned ahead. Before leaving home, I checked the mobile website expecting that, given the obvious demand, there might be an order-ahead option. Unfortunately, there isn't one. So I gave myself an additional 30 minutes specifically for parking, waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for the drink to be prepared. I figured that should be more than enough for a morning coffee pickup. I arrived around 7:30 AM, and as I walked toward The Nook from the south side of The Enclave, I could already see the line stretching out of the door and into the courtyard. I was honestly shocked. There were easily 15-20 people ahead of me. I decided to give it a fair chance and got in line. After 10 minutes, the line had barely moved. At that point, I walked out. I understand that popular businesses get busy, especially in the morning. But there is a difference between being busy and having a customer wait in a line of 15-20 people with virtually no movement at 7:30 AM, particularly when there is no mobile ordering or order-ahead option. For a coffee shop with this level of demand, I find the lack of an ordering system especially frustrating. If you're going to consistently have lines extending outside the business during the morning rush, there should be some way for customers who are trying to grab a drink on their way to work to order ahead. And that's really my issue: the customer experience doesn't seem designed for people who need coffee efficiently. If you're coming here on a weekend, have nowhere to be, or are willing to dedicate an unpredictable amount of time to waiting, you may have a completely different experience. But if you're trying to get coffee before work, I would strongly recommend accounting for significantly more time than you think you'll need -- or having a backup plan. I no longer work as close to The Nook, and I don't drink coffee after noon, so I don't have much reason to make a special trip. Unless I'm conveniently nearby and see little to no line, I won't be making another attempt anytime soon. The Nook clearly has a loyal following, but popularity shouldn't come at the expense of basic convenience. If the demand is consistently this high, the ordering process needs to catch up with it.

When I came up, the employees immediately greeted me with a sample of their new Guava CitrusTeafresher which I absolutely loved since I usually do prefer fruit teas over milk teas. I ordered that with less sweetness along with their most popular drink, the Boya Jasmine Green Tea Latte. From what I heard from others, I came in with high expectations of the actual tea itself and thought their drinks would highlight a strong jasmine tea fragrance and flavor. While the Boya Jasmine was a good drink overall, I was slightly let down because the tea flavor was a bit more diluted than I had expected. However, the drink was still pretty solid. Next time I'd probably do less sweet to bring out the tea more. The Guava refresher, on the other hand, was my fave. Unlike other tea spots where their fruit teas are made from syrups and are overly sweet, this genuinely tasted like they had squeezed real Guava in green tea. It was definitely refreshing and the added lime in the drink also brought some tanginess. Service was stellar as well. And I love the concept of being able to sample teas. Overall, my drinks were solid but for a place so popular I expected a tiny bit more. However, I still enjoyed my experience here and will likely come again.
