I came here for my cousins bridal shower and it was AMAZING. This place is stunning! The room they had in the back was perfect for the occasion. The main dining area looks super cozy, spacious, and inviting as well. The food here is so delicious. We started with a tray of charcuterie meats and cheeses before each getting served an arugula salad that came with cheese, pears, and nuts. As a main I chose the chicken with mango salsa on top, with a side of rice. So good. I had a bite of my dad's mashed potatoes that came with his meal and they were some of the best I've had. The dessert was fantastic. I got the chocolate cake which came with candied peanuts and some whipped peanut butter scooped on top. So so good. Loved every minute of this place!

We had such a wonderful experience at the Copper Door tonight. We were coming from a wake and wanted to pick up a gift card. Since it was dinner we decided to get a bite. I had the Chicken Caprese salad and my husband had a flat bread. Food was wonderful. But Megan our server was sensational. Even though obviously busy we never felt rushed. I was able to enjoy my meal and a couple of glasses of my favorite wine. Good for them to keep the food , service and overall experience top notch!!!

Great atmosphere for special occasion or date night type dinner, very nice servers. That said, our dishes were over sauced and over salted, leaving the first bites very tasty but then way too rich and salty to finish. If you're serving good seafood, the fish itself should carry the flavor rather than being pooled in butter cream sauces. The filet mignon was very tasty and not overly salted - another example of where good quality cuts end up tasting great on their own, so perhaps stick to the grilled steaks here.

Received incredible lunch service from Bryce and the team. It started before we even pulled into the parking lot, when I noticed restaurant staff cleaning up the side of the road- a space not even visible from the restaurant. Bryce clearly has a great eye for attention to detail, consistently stepping in to clear a plate, fill a water, or offer drink refills before we needed to look for him. A few days have passed and Im still thinking about my meatloaf!! We were looking for a nicer restaurant to bring some visitors, and the Copper Door did not disappoint. It was a little over whelming at first with how many menus we were given (maybe about 5?? Including an iPad with more drink options), but our waiter explained all of it well. I appreciate that while we were seeking out a more upscale lunch, there were plenty of items on the menu for those not looking to spend more than $30 a head. A great spot for entertaining guests, brunch with the ladies, or a romantic date night.

    Charcuterie

2026 Charcuterie. The selection of meats and vegetables worked well together. Portion was perfect for two to share. Highly recommended.

I came here for lunch with my mom and boyfriend to celebrate her birthday and we had such a wonderful experience!! The atmosphere was perfect for a fall afternoon: cozy + welcoming. Our food came out quickly and everything was super yummy. We ordered the grilled caesar salad, rustic tomato basil soup, fried buffalo cauliflower, and the copper club sandwich. The mocktails were also incredible! The staff were very thoughtful about my mom's birthday. Since we were stuffed after our meal, our waitress offered to pack up a birthday cupcake for us. She even brought it to the table with a candle lit!

    Filet mignon

Steak was mushy and appears to be glued. Pulls apart into small pieces. Not quality at all for a filet mignon. Not worth the price.

Our food was amazing! We happened to make it during a Sunday brunch. My husband and I both ordered the special. He got the breakfast burger and I got the everything toast. Both were delicious! We got a whiskey sour and the blueberry lemonade mocktail. The complimentary bread and butter were such a great added touch. Buttery goodness that melts in your mouth. Our servicer was very sweet and made the experience that much better. We will be coming back

From the service, to the cocktails, to the food it was a five star experience. We were also lucky enough to see an incredible sunset. I had the cranberry amaretto sour cocktail, which was absolutely divine. We then had a flight of white wine with a baked Brie to start, and it was delicious. My husband had the short rib and I had the strip sirloin, both were cooked beautifully, and the short rib came on a bed of homemade pasta. I had a glass of their Malbec, which they recommended with the strip steak and it was so good that we bought a bottle to bring home. We ended our night with coffee and a pot de crème, which was out of this world. Our server Niamh, was fantastic. She was very attentive, warm and friendly and she helped make it a perfect evening. This place is a gem, would definitely return.

The waitress was knowledgeable on the wines and their pairings. We got the red wine braised shortrib poutine and and it was AMAZING I've tried a lot of poutine and this was one of the best. The meat was so incredibly flavorful and soft, the cheese had the perfect cheese pull, the gravy was scrumptious and the fries were thin and perfectly salty like a better version of a McDonald's fry. For dinner we split the steak frites and duck breast. The steak was well seasoned and was a nice size, the broccolini was surprisingly really great, and the fries were just as good as they were in the poutine. The duck breast was a pass for me, and I love duck. It was cooked medium as a default and that is not my preference. It was quite chewy and I didn't think it tasted like very much at all. The mashed potatoes were very good, I think they have a real knack for all things potato here and the farro was good and very flavorful for being a side portion. I would definitely come here again but probably stick to the red meats.

The Chicken Parmigiano was cooked perfectly, had excellent flavor, but for me there was not just not enough cheese. I like my chicken to be covered- or most of it. The pasta was excellent. So together for me, it's an 7/10. My friend 9/10. The Roman Salad- essentially a Caesar, had great dressing, but the huge dissapointment, was grated cheese. For $15, I want actual Parmesan. I won't be getting that again. We also got a Greek Salad, and 2 Add 1 Polpetti. I was told the salad was good, we couldn't add grilled chicken today because of issues on DoorDash, hence the Add 1 Polpetti. The only comment on the meatballs was that they came with no sauce- while they were tasty, they expected sauce. (Makes sense)?! Overall, the food was fresh, and flavorful. I am not sure if we would order again? For the cost, I expect more. They seemed super helpful, and friendly. Since this was delivery, I can't speak to ambiance!

The restaurant isn't very big but big enough I suppose. Great lighting and I love the jazz music playing in the background. I noticed the dress was more business casual, but in my opinion, I also noticed folks coming in that were dressed way too casual. The staff in general were very customer oriented. Our server, Sydney, was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. When you go to place like the chophouse, you don't order the chicken, you go with what they do best.. steak. To start the dinner I had the French onion soup. I'm a big fan of French onion soup and this soup was the next level great. For dinner, I had the Del Monaco and it came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. The steak was cooked to perfection and was properly seasoned. I enjoyed the vegetable medley and mashed potatoes as well. It all tasted great. Although my meal was excellent, the best part was dessert! I don't normally order dessert at restaurants, not my thing. I'm usually too full by the end of the meal. But, I had to try the gooey butter cake which came with homemade cherry ice cream. Well worth ordering! It was simply delicious. We have every intention of making this a more regular spot for us to visit. I highly recommend.

It was our first time at this…read morespecific spot despite being frequent customers at many of their other Massachusetts locations. To say the experience was beyond disappointing in an understatement. To be clear, this review is not about the food. As loyal customers who visit Tavern in the Square often we already know and enjoy the menu. The bartender was polite and pleasant throughout the interaction, despite overcharging for food and drinks we did not order. However, the situation overall was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. We ordered one beer and a green tea shot and before we even finished the drink we were abruptly told we were "cut off". This made absolutely no sense. We were not intoxicated and had barely even started our drinks. When we asked to speak with management the only explanation we were given was that they have had fights there before. That reasoning is COMPLETELY illogical what does that have to do with us as individuals? If that is truly their policy then why was not everyone else at the bar treated the same way? We tried multiple times speaking with the waitress and management to get a clear and consistent answer, but no one could provide one. The responses were vague inconsistent and frankly concerning. At that point we could not help but question whether we were being singled out unfairly. When we raised that concern the staff could not provide any reassurance or clarification they simply avoided the question. For context, we are loyal Tavern in the Square customers and have made over 80 reservations at various locations since January of this year. We have NEVER experienced anything like this before at any of the MA locations. This situation was embarrassing, confusing, and unacceptable. We will NEVER return to this location. Based on this experience we do not recommend this location to others given our concerns about fairness and how we were treated. I have reached out and expect a clear response from corporate explaining what happened here.

Being asked to leave made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed, and it honestly came across as discriminatory. Looking around the room, it was impossible not to notice that we were the only Asian party in the establishment. The lack of a clear, valid reason for being "cut off"--while other customers nearby were treated with standard hospitality--left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. We expected a professional environment, but instead, we were met with treatment that felt discriminatory. I cannot recommend a place that makes guests feel uncomfortable or targeted based on their background. Truly a shameful way to run a business.
