I was quite pleased with our experience. You can tell the clientele is mostly business professionals. I could see they had a separate event space for a private event happening later. The space itself was elegant and pretty. The food was good, I got the french dip sandwich and sweet tea. Our first waiter seemed to be new as he wasn't super attentive and a man of little words. The waitress who brought our food and refilled our drinks was much more on it and I could see her waiting other tables as well. The host was not great however. He seemed to be super annoyed at being at work, but was pleasant to us. He just sauntered over and stood there as we and another man were waiting to be seated. TDLR: The owner is extremely rude and racist, and the food was mediocre at best. Not worth the HOUR AND A HALF we waited for it. We went last night for my friend's birthday. We had a reservation at 7:30 for 10 people and waited an extra 30 minutes to be seated behind another large birthday group (over 10 people). That group sat 15 minutes before us, and got their food shortly after we were seated at 8. We put in our drinks order and when those came out at around 8:20, we were ready to order. We sat for over an hour waiting on food with no communication from the waitress who only came by once to check on our drinks. A couple a people in our group at that point just wanted to leave and asked if their food could be canceled. The owner came out asking what was wrong and we explained the time issue. He argued that a party our size, which was smaller than the party previously mentioned, takes time to get the food out. Then he said "this isn't a Chili's" to my friends, who are black and this comment came off as extremely rude and racist. He said our order wasn't put in the system until 8:45, and it was 9:25 at that point. One of the ladies showed him her post with her drink, which she took right after it came out, had been up for an hour. At that point he finally agreed to take our other friends' food off that wanted to leave. Food started to make it to our table, except mine. That came out about 20 minutes later. My fiancé's onion rings were cold when they hit the table and his burger was so greasy I could see it dripping off when he picked it up. My fish was ok at best, overcooked and only saved by the side sauce. The owner offered to comp OR do free dessert. We took the comp because we didn't want to stay longer. Even with a comp the food was not worth it. Prior to this whole incident, my fiancé and I talked about coming back on a date but we will not be back. There are several other restaurants I'd rather spend my money at than someone who is going to insult their guests, throw out racist comments, and act like the service is our fault. read more

Omg this place was so good! Tasted way better than the pics look. Not pictured was my pomegranate margarita, which I had a couple of because they went down too easy. My date had the fillet which was cooked just how he wanted. I had the pear salad and added salmon which was also cooked perfect. He even made a comment that I ate all my food because I did not leave any left! It was so good and probably one of the best salads I've ever had. I really enjoyed brunch here. The shrimp and grits was awesome. It's a different entree for brunch than it is for dinner. I am always looking for a great shrimp and grits and Thai will be my local go to for it. I had a mimosa that was good as well. Good price $3 too. I plan to go back and have the chicken and waffles next week so they will definitely see me again. My brother had the poached egg crab cake (eggs Benedict). It seemed he did not need any assistance finishing it. He had a beer on tap which was as he expected. I highly recommend this place for brunch. read more

On a road trip to Arkansas, our hometown tour guide suggested we stop at the Copper Grill. It was after the lunch hour rush so figured it should be pretty easy visit. Well we were very wrong. It appeared that there was only one staff member present to seat, take orders, and clean the tables. We sat for about 35 minutes before we got water and ordered our food. It felt like an hour before we actually got our food. The lunch menu has some good options. The meatloaf sandwich looked good but I ended up with the Sweet Hot Sriracha Burger with fries. As I stated because we waited so long for our food and I was hungry I forgot to take a photo of my food. The burger was really good and medium well. The flavors were paired pretty well. My fries were good but I had lesser fries in comparison to my companions. I was glad with my choice of entree The burger was good but would would have been even better if it didn't take so long before we could eat. Side note: I asked about the Prize listed in the Yelp and I was told that he had no idea. He said he would come back and let me know what the prize was but never came back to tell me. Ok, so this review should really be a 3.5. Copper Grill definitely deserves the added half! I can always count on great service and a great atmosphere. Nice wine selection. Ok cocktails. The food is where it becomes a hit or miss. This restaurant is in a GREAT location downtown! If you are visiting in a nearby hotel I would recommend making a stop. This is usually my spot for happy hour. Their happy hour is honestly one of the best. We've experienced indoor and outdoor service. Each time we enjoyed. Great selection of bar bites, wine, cocktail, and beer specials! I usually get the crispy shrimp, salmon sliders, and a wine. The few times we decided to stay for dinner it was just ok. Not bad....not incredible. Just ok. I would pick this spot for a quick meeting or pre-game before dinner with friend. I would have given this a 5 star but a couple made it a 4. We were in Little Tock for my husband's work trip and the last night wanted something different then what was right across from the hotel. We found Copper Grill and read great reviews. We tracked the 5 blocks from the courtyard hotel to this cute corner grill. We were treated right away and agreed to a high top in the bar (busy Thursday night). We were immediately greeted by the waiter, he got our drinks and was giving us time to look over the menus after he told me the best things on the menu. When he walked away I checked in on Yelp and was happy surprised by a first time checkin prize, when I showed the waiter, he was like my manager knows nothing about this and it's an error in yelp. I said that is a bummer, then he was like I can get you a free dessert if you like later. I thought hey, that makes up for the disappointment. So we then proceeded to order: I got the Toasted pear with Salmon which I read was one of the popular salads at the place. My husband got the French dip, or friend couple got the burger and ahi tuna. I was very pleased with the ratio of the pear, goat cheese ball ( rolled in pistachios), walnuts and greens. The salmon was cooked perfect an added bonus to the salad. The champagne vinaigrette was perfect pairing. My husband said the French dip was good but thing special. My friend's husband enjoyed the burger and he couldn't even finish it was a good size burger. My friend ordered the seesawed seared ahi, it lacked flavor and the texture of the ahi was not to her desire. It came with an oily soy sauce and it needed some kind of wasabi or something with a little heat. Other then some of the choices missing something, I was excited about my free dessert. The waiter came by and asked do we want dessert, my group hesitated and then he said oh good you don't want it and I'm too busy to get that any way. Thought that was rude and if he was not able to give a free dessert or wanted to he should have never offered. We thought that was a bitter way to end the night. All in all I am still rating the place for food and ambiance with a 4, but service I would give a 3. I think the restaurant should fix the first checkin prize so people trying it that came from Yelp review and check in are not disappointed. read more

Fun spot. We had a small group- 5 people - had a mixture of drinks, appetizers, entrees and shots. Service from our server was awesome - the bar service for the most part was good - but for some reason a couple of the cocktails got lost somewhere behind the bar, because everyone at the table except one, got their drinks very timely. I was the only person in the restaurant, so I sat at the bar. The bartender was cleaning something, and a server had to go over & ask if he wanted her to take me instead. He said no, he'd be over. This place is AMAZING. I was in town for a few days to visit my family and randomly stumbled across this jewel! The bartender Lee is the kick a$$!!!! I had the sweet hot signature burger and let me tell you.... it was honestly the BEST burger I've ever had, NO CAP! You gotta try this burger. The atmosphere is great as well. Nice, clean, sheek and classy! I had to stop by this place again before heading home. I had no idea what time they closed and popped in 15 minutes before closing time. They actually remembered me for the night before and opened the kitchen to make my food. Of course I had the burger again. Thanks Dan for accommodating me last minute. Heard they have revamped there menu and were back open. Since I have never been here I decided to grab a buddy and check it out. We ordered the pimento cheese appetizer and man it's a great value. You get two dips, candied pecans, millionaire bacon. I would recommend this appetizer to anyone. I ordered the turkey avocado melt. It was good and and the fries were tasty. A friend and I ate at the Copper Grill for lunch on Saturday. I found the menu to be very limited. I was in the mood for dip and inquired about the confetti dip. The waitress informed me of the ingredients, and there were many things I do not eat included. However, I can usually navigate around such ingredients. This was not the case with this dip. It would be better named as olive dip. Yuck. It was awful and a total waste of my money. I also had a Bloody Mary that was so salty I couldn't even finish half. I came in around 7 on a Friday night from driving and was immediately seated. My server was Clark and he was fantastic! Very nice and able to make great recommendations for wine. For dinner I opted for the roasted pear salad with a side of salmon. My salad was delicious, although for dinner I'd say about a handful of greens too few. I also think the dressing was a little too thick and left me thirsty. But the salmon. Oh man. It was simply seasoned (a good thing for me!) and cooked p e r f e c t l y. Before I was able to get my check and leave I thought Clark forgot about me, only to look up and realize he had a large party to also attend to. I found the restaurant's ambiance chic but casual. We visited Little Rock and stayed downtown. This restaurant was walking distance from our hotel so we decided to try it out. We didn't have a reservation and they said it would be 30 min but we were seated in about 15 min. We had a variety of things from the menu. Grilled port chop, burger and fries, and seared tuna.
