Visited this restaurant with friends for a little carbon loaf before the local half marathon events set for the following day. I had the Cork Screw Pasta. While the food looked tasty it was quite bland. I used a vigorous amount of salt and pepper to get through the course. Wait staff was also rather slow in service. In my opinion over priced. Copper Grill is within walking distance to our home. The staff is very friendly. They take the time to know their regulars. They are currently offering a weekly variety of casseroles that can be heated in the microwave at home or they can heat it for you. Everything is made in house and top notch. What they are currently doing for first responders is like none other in the area. Last night I had the pork chop. I usually do not order pork chops because they tend to be dry. This was hands down the best pork chop I have ever had. If you are looking for an affordable takeout place during this time, look no further than Copper Grill. Excellent restaurant and excellent food. I ended up ordering the meatloaf sandwich and when it came out I was slightly disappointed because others in my group had bought the regular meatloaf and it looked much much better. After I tried the meatloaf sandwich I realized I had made the right decision. The flavor was great and though visually it wasn't overly appealing the flavor of the food made that less important. Most people in my group thoroughly enjoyed their food. When in doubt try this place out! read more

Great pick if you're downtown. I went with the meatloaf and was less impressed, but I was lucky enough to sample their salmon and LOVED the fresh, grilled flavor with the pineapple salsa! My mom and I traveled to Little Rock on our road trip to Houston. Since we were never here before, we naturally asked for recommendations for dinner and our hotel suggested the Copper Grill. The number one thing that stuck out to me was the people! Such great humans at this restaurant. Our server Richard was so polite and wonderful. Also, the owner Dan stopped by our table, which was such a delight. It is evident that the management of Copper Grill genuinely cares for the space and its guests. Especially in a time like right now, I felt so safe and comfortable. Tables were cleaned and sanitized substantially and consistently. If you can get past the stale smell upon entrance, you may be lucky enough to watch a seemingly pleasant and helpful server being bullied and accosted by a table of 3 adults and then being thrown under the bus by a "manager" in a polo shirt. So many people out there are unemployed, so I think that people who are employed in the service industry should go above and beyond. Granted, my husband and I came in in jeans and t-shirts, when the rest of their customers were obviously business people on lunch breaks, but that is no excuse for bad service. We waited forever for someone to acknowledge us. We waited forever for our drinks to arrive. And we waited for about 30ish minutes for our food to arrive. I had a salmon burger and he had a catfsh po-boy. It should NOT have taken that long. Especially when everyone else there already had food, so obviously the kitchen wasn't that busy. I was very disappointed in the service, but the food was delicious. The salmon burger had a wasabi coleslaw on it. I don't like slaw or wasabi, but this was delicious. My husband's po-boy was delicious and the french fries were some of the best I've ever had anywhere. Not sure if I'll go back. read more

The friend mac and cheese balls were great as well and they were well seasoned. People tend to skimp on seasoning the mac and cheese. And for my lunch I ordered the bacon avocado burger. I ordered the burger done medium. Well to my surprise the burger came out with 2 thin burger patty's that reminded me of a double cheese burger from a fast food place. Solid four star restaurant! Copper Grill has awesome salads. With regard to the entrees, they do right by their steaks and as for fish, their salmon is delicious. They always have great soups of the day. Service is good and so is the atmosphere. I eat here mostly at lunch, but the few times I have had dinner here it has always been superior. I really want to love this restaurant, but find it a little lackluster. It's not bad, but doesn't leave me craving more, either. I like the concept, but sometimes feel the atmosphere is a bit too stuffy for me. Food wise, I've tried the Chicken Salad Sandwich, Not Your Mom's Homemade Mac & Cheese Balls, and the Roasted Red Bell Pepper Soup. I wasn't too impressed with the chicken salad, although most chicken salad is hit or miss with me (typically too much mayo and not enough seasoning.) The soup was the best of the three, and I'm not even certain they still serve this item. My main issue is that the prices seem a tad steep for the quality and amount of food you receive. Also, our waiter wasn't very warm and friendly the last time I was in. With all of this said, I'll give Copper Grill another chance, but don't have high expectations set. I do like the area and supporting local restaurants, so it's worth another shot! read more

My mom and I stopped in Little Rock to spend the night on my trek down to Austin, TX. The folks at the front desk at the Double Tree where we stayed recommended this place. We ate here for dinner and it was fantastic! I started off with the lobster bisque and it was super tasty! For my main course, I had the burger and my mom had the ultimate BLT. Both dishes were awesome! The prices were inexpensive for what we ordered. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the service was great. They had a cool patio out back that looked like somebody's backyard garden. It was very pretty. All in all, I'd recommend this place to anyone stopping through Little Rock. Two thumbs up! read more

So, I went back yesterday for a business lunch. Hey, give me free food and I will try any place again. I ordered the chicken enchilada. It came with beans and rice. I will cut to the chase. The beans were OK but not great. They tasted like Rotel were added to them. The rice was bland and white. The enchilada had chicken that I am pretty sure was flavorful, but it was covered in so much cheese and sour cream sauce that it was difficult to really tell. So, overall, it was OK, but the taco wagon in town has more flavorful fare. The service was good this time, however, so that is a positive. read more

This restaurant is our favorite in Little Rock, every appetizer or entree is the opportunity for the chef to create, to show the quality of what they serve. The waiters are really great, nice and helpful. The chocolate creme brulee is really good. Ask for the special of the day, soup or entree. Ask for their black olive bread served with rosemary butter. You really get a deal between what you pay for and what you eat. The wine list is excellent. Go there for lunch, dinner. It is always a pleasure. Went here for dinner on a Monday night with wifey. The drinks were really great and from the looks of the packed bar, the drink menu is what draws a crowd. Our food on the other hand, seemed like it was warmed up in a microwave. We got 2 very expensive fish entrees, a couple apps and 2 drinks a piece. The place was dirty. Kind of like the place must be really hoppin' at night but they don't clean up for the next day dinner check the costs 120 bucks.
