My first and only experience here was not good. I scheduled a maternity massage with a female therapist(I only am comfortable with females)and I arrived to the manager saying the female therapist was "freaking out" bc she didn't want to massage a pregnant person. So my choices were a male or no massage. I was desperate for a massage so I went ahead with the male(although uncomfortable) I was placed on a hard table with 2 pillows (one clearly hadn't been washed in awhile). By this time my massage is was running late and the therapist was rushing, I asked for more pillows and he said he would have to run to his car for more.. so unprofessional, long story short, this is not what a spa experience should be! The managers apologized and gave me a 10% discount. My massage should have been free! I will not go back there.. super disappointed! read more

Visited the Spa a month ago for an eyebrow wax, service was fantastic! Made an appointment to get have an all over color and cut today and was not as impressed. When I sat in the chair the stylist brought a waiver for me to sign, stating she is in training (this should have been mentioned while making the appointment on the phone). I've been going to Copperfalls for years. That tells you something. Peaceful, quiet atmosphere, really nice staff, great smells. I've had many massages there with many different therapists and it's always wonderful. There are many services available including a hair salon, facials, a variety of massages, and nail salon. I'm really surprised this place has such good reviews. Sorry this one's gonna be lengthy, but here is my experience: 1. Nails. I went in to get my nails done the day before my wedding. Sort of an important manicure! I got a gel manicure with Crystal. She was very nice and we had fun conversation, but the actual nail work was not good. At one point, she was filing a nail while talking and looking out the window and didn't notice until I yanked my finger away that she'd been scraping the skin behind my cuticle off. Painful and, the next day, unsightly. I also had to tell her no about adding glitter several times. When she was done, I went out to the counter to pay, I started to examine the manicure more closely, and I was not happy, but I always feel bad complaining and don't like confrontation, so I paid and thought I could just live with it. I'd never gotten a gel manicure before, so I thought maybe I was just being too picky. But I kept examining them. There were nails where the polish didn't reach the edges of my nail or cuticle and had big gaps showing through. There was bumpy unevenness on a few nails. And then, as the final straw, half of the gel on my left thumb peeled off within 3 hours of the appointment. THIS WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING. I didn't have time to go back and ask for it to be fixed, so I went to Sally's and had to buy the stuff to remove the rest of the gel and redo everything myself. So I was out $50 for the original manicure and another $60 for the supplies needed to fix it, not to mention the added stress of adding one more thing to my pre-wedding to-do list. 2. Hair. It was too late for the salon to remedy the issue for my wedding, but I still wanted to let the manager know what had happened, so I emailed and included pictures of the botched job. The one good thing I will say for this place is that she did respond quickly, apologized, and issued a full refund to my customer account in the form of store credit. Okay, cool. With $50 to use, I scheduled a haircut and color online. Within an hour or so, I got a phone call saying that I couldn't schedule color without a separate color consultation appointment first. I have a very busy work schedule, so I said forget it, just the cut. For starters, when I arrived, no one was at the front desk, so I just stood there for a few minutes. When someone finally saw me, she told me to take a seat, but I have no idea what she was talking about, because there are no seats anywhere. There's no waiting area. I just wandered around the Aveda products until my stylist called my name (15 minutes after my appointment time). I had been growing out my hair for my wedding and was now ready for a big change. Unfortunately, the stylist (whose name I've unfortunately forgotten) spent all of 15 seconds asking me about what I wanted. When I mentioned I'd also like color, she just said, "that's not what your appointment is for today, we won't have time." No offer to schedule it for later or tell me about their color services. The haircut was fast, I didn't feel listened to, and she didn't attempt any small talk. She spoke only to the other stylists the whole time, which I found very unprofessional. She acted as though I was inconveniencing her with my business. I used up my store credit and left. The haircut was bland, and when I washed and styled it myself the next day, it was evident she hadn't done it right. I went to an old standby of a stylist up in Southlands who saw my layers and immediately said, "she cheated. She obviously doesn't know the right way to cut straight hair, so she did it the cheater way." He fixed it for free because he's awesome. Go see Kurt at Sola in Southlands. Well worth the drive to skip this horrible place. I know that was a lot to unload. I don't write a lot of reviews, but these TWO experiences were so bad that I had to speak up. She ensures she knows what I am looking for, has good suggestions to get me there, and I have never left unsatisfied. First time visit. I was highly satisfied with my experience. Kyle was very friendly. He asked questions about how I style my hair at home to tailor my new cut and make it easier for me to maintain my new look. He told me about the different products he was using on my hair and what they did. I felt the price point for the service provided was reasonable and in line with other salons. I was very pleased with my cut and style. I inquired as to where they do the Spa services (upper level) and Kyle offered to give me a tour. Though I did not have time today I may do it on my next visit. I'm not from CO but I do visit family every 6 -8 weeks and with a bit of planning I can make a visit to Copper falls a regular part of my trip. read more

My husband and I both go to Copperfalls for our hair, and we both see Karen. She's amazing! First and foremost, she had to repair the damage to my hair (from color) and correct the cut to both my husband's hair and mine. Yes, we were a mess! (We had been going to another salon in Parker.) Upon our first visits with Karen, she took great care to review our hair and understand our needs. Her listening skills are amazing! Several months later, we just couldn't be happier. We look good! My husband's hair is short and very thick and full. My hair is a little past my shoulders and very fine, and it needs color too. Second, Karen is precise (unlike some stylists who slop color together and in your hair, use poor products and just hack at your hair). My hair color has never looked better! I'm so happy. Last, Aveda hair color is fantastic... And Karen knows her products. Other things to consider... The salon is professional and clean (what you would expect for Aveda), parking is good, and Karen has always been on time. read more

I have had my hair done several times now from Jen, one of the stylists at Copper Falls. I must say that I just adore Jen, she is very sweet and easy to talk to. She has always done an amazing job with my hair every single time. I just love the Aveda color, as it is the only professional color that actually stays in my hair. Jen also recommended the Smooth Infusion hair product which is now a staple in my hair routine. I would highly recommend this salon, Jen in particular. I went for a haircut after a friend made a recommendation. The stylist was very rushed. I explained what I wanted (Just a trim on some long layers and face framing) She cut my hair but did no layering. When I noticed and reiterated what I wanted to have done she said she'd have to start all over and charge me for 2 cuts because she had other people waiting. Very frustrating experience. I have given this place the benefit of the doubt multiple times. They rarely answer when I call for an appt and a lot of times when I show up I have to find my way upstairs and find someone to let them know I am there. I thought the construction would improve the atmosphere, but it's made it worse. The floor upstairs is very noisy. Every time I have been there for a massage I can hear people walking by and talking loudly (usually staff members) while I am on the table. I can't believe that their employees stomp around in a place that is supposed to be quiet and tranquil. I will spend my money elsewhere even though I live in Castle Rock. I would rather drive 20 miles after my massage than to waste my hard-earned money here again. read more

Booked the whole day here for my 40th birthday and it did not disappoint at all. I started the morning off with a Pedicure and a manicure, both of which were awesome. I got the signature Rose pedicure, truly an awesome self pampering for your feet experience. I did the gel nails and they lasted me the greater part of four weeks so I was very happy. Loved the opportunity to sit in the sauna between my services. I have never had a facial before so I didn't know what I was missing. Do yourself a favor and get a facial here. Lunch was served to me from the dream pastries place downstairs and it was beautiful and light and perfect. I finished my day with a relaxing massage for an hour, and then use the shower and Aveda products that they have there. Money well spent. My only suggestion to the spa would be to get a better spa sandal, the spa sandals they had there were hard plastic, so I just went barefoot the whole day, which I didn't mind I liked that read more

My husband and I both love copperfalls and try to make it there for our anniversary every year. This year we saw Lauren and Joey. I thought Joey did a very good job. My husband said Lauren was exceptional...which is a first for him to say. I'm not sure what the signature massage is, but while I had my feet and backs wrapped in hot towels, my husband had hot stones and a foot scrub added. Next time I might just have to get Lauren! Extremely disappointed today in CopperFalls!!! Made an appointment with a live person yesterday for today. Have a hurt back and in major need of a massage. She confirmed date and time multiple times on phone. Arrived today only to be told that my appointment was scheduled for tomorrow and not today and there was nothing that could be done to help me today. How difficult is it to manage your schedule and make sure customers are booked on the correct date/time? Left with a still hurting back... No massage and no answers from anyone at CopperFalls. They wanted to offer me 20% off a future service. Really??!! I think based on a mistake of that magnitude I'm owed more than 20% off. Needless to say... I find them completely unreliable and this certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be recommending this spa to anyone in my circle. read more

I was really excited to visit this spa and use a gift card I received as a wedding gift. My experience was less than stellar. It appears that this spa is poorly managed and has a lot of turnover and don't train their staff. With so many great spas in the Denver metro area, I wouldn't waste my time with this one. I called to make my appointment for two services and had to repeat what I wanted done three times to the person I spoke with on the phone. I had a feeling that she didn't know what she was doing, but trusted that it was made. They called to verify my appointment two days prior. Then, an hour before my appointment, I received a call from the spa and they asked me what I was going to have done, because they weren't sure. I thought this was odd. They then informed me that they didn't have a technician to perform the services. Disappointed, I rescheduled. They couldn't do both services at a convenient time within the next month, so I had to settle for scheduling just one. A couple of days before this rescheduled appointment, someone called to confirm. It was a really strange call because it was at least 20 seconds before the person said anything after I said hello and then she was giggling while talking to me to confirm. It seems like this place is being run by high schoolers . . . no elementary school kids. read more

Of those five, my hairdresser "called in sick" two of them - Management was apologetic, but ineffective in helping me to reschedule in a timely manner - and no comps for my troubles. I have been going to Copperfalls for quite a few years now. What I like about Copperfalls is that even when there is staff turnover (in the Spa), the service is always consistent. I feel as though I always receive the same great, attentive, professional service. This is in regards to facials and waxes though. I have never received a manicure/pedicure there. I had a really bad haircut elsewhere and went to Copperfalls to see if they could fix it. They squeezed me in with Katie and she did an AMAZING job fixing my butchered hair. I couldn't believe how good it looked when she was done. It was the best haircut I'd had in years. And to my complete astonishment, she didn't charge me for it even though she spent 45 minutes, cutting, washing and styling it. Wow! I am a customer for life! I was getting ready for the gym, but constantly was getting distracted by my hair. I just had to write a review. I know, that sounds really silly and stupid.. Right? I couldn't help it.. As being one of those girls experiencing one hair trauma after another, I am entirely ecstatic over my appointment on Tuesday. The girl I was originally booked with was not able to do my hair, so they called me right away to schedule me with another stylist. I am already new to the salon, so you can only imagine what was going through my mind at this point. Upon them calling, I did ask to also set up an eyebrow wax which they fit in just before my hair appointment. I showed up about twenty minutes early, but I got right in with Erin for my eyebrows. Little did I know, you also get a complimentary benefit.. I chose the neck massage. How awesome, right!? Not only did Erin do an amazing job on my eyebrows, but her talent on my neck encouraged me to look into massage sessions. I was then taken down to Jen for my hair. As I waited in my chair.. A very enthusiastic and stylish (might I add) young lady introduced herself. Immediately, I had hope. She sat me down and listened to exactly what I wanted.. Guided me in my color options and all. I can honestly say that I have NEVER been more satisfied with my hair appointment results. Everyone in the salon was so nice and welcoming. Every experience I've had with Copperfalls has left me with a warm and fuzzy feeling. I had two experiences in the last 10 years where I was left less than dazzled. I called because I felt like they would want to know and to make it right. They immediately re-booked the services I was disappointed with and made up for the experience two fold. I've never visited the hair salon, only the day spa. I've never had a bad massage or facial and every single employee was kind and friendly. It's my one guilty pleasure. I usually go twice a year for a 'spa day' and enjoy every single ounce of it. Even when scheduling, I usually talk to Shea and she's the most kind, patient person I have ever dealt with. I know scheduling a handful of services at once with several people isn't easy but she always accommodates my busy schedule and I hang up with a smile on my face. This is a wonderful spa that I will always come back to. We are moving out of Castle Rock in a month but I will continue to come here, despite a 30 minute drive because it's just that AWESOME. read more
