Our home warranty company sent out a plumber to look at our kitchen sink backing up. They tried to snake it but that didn't work. They wanted someone to get a camera to inspect the pipes, and when that person came they said inspecting the pipe would be pointless, we need to hydrojet the drains. They told me my cost would be $300 to lay down plastic sheeting so there's no mess left, which I thought was outrageous. That led me to hopping on Yelp and finding the top rated plumber in my area. I called up Copperfield and told them what happened. He said he has an available plumber that is a wizard with snaking drains and he could be at my home in about an hour. These guys rock. We have rental properties and I've had my share of plumbing issues. On this occasion it was our residence that was called for. It was a simple job, the ice maker line broke and we had no shut off valve for the line, we had to shut the angle stop valve to faucet off. The line runs under the floor and the gentleman who came had to crawl through the crawl space, luckily he was experienced because it's difficult to navigate under there. You must crawl a distance to find an opening around a block wall divider. After the repair, on the way out he noticed another leak we had no knowledge off, that was caused by the AC ductwork we had performed months before. He then quickly addressed the issue. I would highly recommend this company! I have two leaking shower valves and the valves are a old model and now hard to find. I got Copperfield and another pluming company to do the free estimate. Eric from Copperfield checked the leaks and immediately called his boss to see if they can get the right valves for us. He also quoted a vey fair price for the replacement valves and installation. The other company in contrast quoted a much higher price for cutting open the wall and didn't even mention the option of a new valve. In just a few days, we got the new valves ordered and installed. Eric was very professional and efficient. I can tell that he genuinely cares about getting the job done to the best standards and spent time to make sure the trim and handle aligned perfectly. He also fox our front yard faucet super quickly on his way out! What is even more amazing is that they even fix a problem due to my silly mistake at no charge. Josh arrived on time and quickly got oriented to the issues I had called for, (broken shower fixture and low pressure since we had the house built). I've had Copperfield Plumbing come out to flush our water heater twice over the last couple of years to keep it free of hard water sediment and most recently to troubleshoot a strange harmonic sound our water heater started making when it was refilling (even Google couldn't give me any answers!) . They've always been courteous and professional and I've been able to get service the same week I called. On the troubleshooting visit, their technician Jonathan came out and worked to recreate the sound and was able to identify the source of the noise.
