Ordered curbside pickup and made me come inside to get it while simultaneously bringing other people's orders to their cars. Order was said to be ready at 5:05, showed up at 5:17 and was told to wait 10 more minutes. I come inside to get my order 10 minutes later and they don't have it. They claim that someone else took our order, but did nothing to make up for their horrible service. The manager never spoke to me or offered anything to compensate, and in fact was even arguing with other customers in the restaurant. This place has no idea how to take accountability for mistakes in their restaurant. Never ever coming back here again. read more

I was visiting from out of town with my teen son and we decided to go here based on the menu. It is a sports bar with a bunch of huge TVs all over the dining room. The place was packed on a Saturday night at 7:30, but we were seated within five minutes of our arrival. Our sever was excellent. We ordered mozzarella sticks, burgers and fries, and all of it was served quickly and hot. We devoured everything - it was delicious. Ketchup was served in small cups - we had to keep asking for more, but the servers didn't mind. So glad that we gave this place a try! read more

My family has been coming to Copperhead for years and full disclosure, I used to work at the Saucon Valley location. My family now loves to go to the Allentown location for Eagles games (Go Birds). We ordered takeout the other evening and were really happy with the pickup service in the time of coronavirus. We ordered online and picked it up curbside. They put it right in the trunk and we didn't have to sign the credit card slip, maybe because ordered with our Coppercard. The food (fajitas, chicken BLT wrap, Mediterranean chicken skewers, crab cakes) were all delicious. The food was hot, the boxes were labeled and separately appropriately. Really happy to have a tasty, contact-free takeout options in the days of covid. read more

Went in for dinner on Sunday night was seated in a large booth for just two of us that was nice so we could sit together the waitress was helpful as we never ate here before I had a crab bisque that was very flavorful and creamy The side salad was big and fresh tasting My entree was the sirloin steak with chimmi sauce and mashed potatoes they had a nice flavor to them and the steak was very good except a tiny bit undercooked I ordered medium rare and it was more like rare but I still finished it all! Before they opened the new location on Airport Rd. the one on Rt. 378 was pretty awesome. I don't eat red meat or chicken and I found they had a decent amount of options for us to choose from. I usually got the fish and chips and my partner would order their portabello mushroom sandwich. The beer always tasted pretty great as well. Overall the place on Rt. 378 just had a nice bar and grill feel to it. We ended up going to this location a few months ago when they just started to change the menu around. All we could get was a quesadilla and thats pretty much it. It was ok but I was pretty disappointed that they eliminated a lot of the dishes that we loved or could eat. I thought perhaps the menu was still a work in progress and after they opened up the new location we decided to check it out. We walk in and looked over the menu which really had nothing we could choose from. Some of the selections seemed a bit over priced as well. The new location also does not have that same feel as the one on Rt. 378. It seems like they are trying to be more upscale. I use to love this place but unfortunately it didn't seem to change for the better. read more

Of note: an extremely distant, cold, and dialed-in server went through the motions about the menu. 3 under-portioned lettuce wraps weren't bad but lackluster and overpriced. Main entree was worst: crab cakes had shells in them. When I informed the waitress, she blankly walked away, calling the manager...he told me the crabmeat came pre-canned from Miami (?) and initially informed me there was no way they could pick through it before making cakes. Mind you, I was not complaining, but responding simply to the question, "how is everything". A lonely monkey dish of mashed potatoes failed to impress. As I was stunned at the manager's response, he returned with an apology and the assurance that they will be picking through the remaining crab cakes. How can that be what they are "known for" as he informed me? For the many crab shells in my entree he provided us with a coupon for a free appetizer next time we come...huh??? And to make matters worse: we ran out of water midway through the appetizer...and I'm currently waiting for a refill... The meal--and the overall service--was perplexing and sad. I can't imagine returning here with so many choices to choose from very close to here. Retraining the waitresses, management, and cooks seems like an awfully big effort and I wouldn't expect the owners to acknowledge anything in this review. NOISY. Blaring TVs and whiny nasal auto-tuned pop garbage all competing. Ordered the red Zin, was brought the pink stuff. Le sigh... but the red was very good. Ordered a rib-eye with shrimp add-on, salad and soup as sides. Soup was called some crazy italian name but it was just blah chicken chowder that tasted canned. The shrimp were bacon-wrapped and good thing because there was no seasoning at all and they came with a side of gooey BBQ sauce. I think they were supposed to be garlic shrimp. Blah. The steak was bland and greasy-tasting. I know rib-eyes, and this one came from a worn-out industrial dairy heifer. I couldn't finish it. Huge peeve: I was asked FOUR TIMES about how I liked my meal. Unless it's actually inedible I usually blow em off but by the fourth time it was becoming really intrusive. Once more and they really would have known. Lastly it attracts a loud douche-y old frat-dude crowd. I think there was one woman in the whole place aside from the staff. read more

Last night we revisited because if you show them your Iron Pigs ticket you can get a free Bud light or Coors light...limited options, but free! The hosts greeted us right away and asked us how we were doing on the way to the table. Our server Brittany was super quick and attentive. I've been here more times than I can count and it's truly a hit or miss place as far as the service goes. This past weekend we were there, even did call ahead seating so they knew we were coming and waited an hour and 45 minutes. The rude hostess couldn't give us any estimate on a timeframe that we would be seated but I had family in from out of town and we already stood around for an hour so I assumed it couldn't be much longer. People were being sat, ate and walked back past us again to leave while we were waiting. Sure the wait could've been longer because we had 6 people in our party but maybe the owners should've considered groups when recently renovating and put in more than 4 larger tables instead of more bar stools. There are better sports bars in the area with better service than the rude and incompetent staff at copperhead. read more

Great wing and beer specials! Every Wed they have .50c wings which is why I went while working in the area. The wings were a decent size and the flavors I tried were very good. I tried and ranked the wings in the following order: Sweet & Sweaty, Hot & Bothered, and Thai. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star is the lack of descriptions of the sauces on the menu. There is none. They have a very limited amount of sauces so there is no reason why they cannot have a brief description on the menu since one exists online. Food was tasty, particularly the cream of chicken soup, but the severe delay negated any enthusiasm we might have had for the meal. If we can't decide on anyplace else to go, we always end up there because we know we are going to get good food, good service, and at a good price. We rarely have to wait to be seated, and if we do it's not all that long. My previous review still stands, but I'm upping it to 5 stars because it's very hard to find anyplace, never mind a restaurant, that has consistently friendly and good service like Copperhead does. Mozzarella Sticks are our favorite appetizer, and their Chicken Parm is my favorite meal. Wing Wednesday is also right up there. read more

My experience at this restaurant was not a good one. I was seated and the waitress for my section did not acknowledge me at all. I waited for 15 minutes thinking she might have just been busy, however she just walked right pass me every time. I walked back to the hostess station and asked to be seated in area that I could be served. The hostess was very apologetic and seated me in a different area with a very friendly young lady. I don't want to assume, but it is my guess the first waitress didn't want to serve someone with my skin tone. However the food was pretty tasty. A few days after my experience the general manager contacted me and apologize for my experience and offered a gift card this really goes to show this business cares about the treatment of customers. I recommend this restaurant for good food and a great customer service experience :) read more

This is the only place in the Lehigh Valley where I have found real Texas Chili. What is Texas chili you ask? It is made with small chunks of beef, not hamburger, and no d#*# beans! That is the way I learned to like chili. I might give it a 4.5, instead of a 5 because it is a bit bland.
