Young girl at door greeted me so friendly, I came in for a late dinner about 9pm and sat at bar, was not busy but I was rudely ignored by the blonde bartender if you would even call her that. It had been a while since we had dine-in from Copperhead. During COVID we got take out and the food was fine. We decided to try dine-in on a recent Friday night and it is the last time we will dine-in at this location. After waiting about 5 minutes for a table, we were seated at a high-top by the door with no silverware on the table. We waited 10 minutes and had to ask if a server would come attend to us. Shortly afterward we were greeted by a server when we put in our drink and dinner order. When I was told the beer I ordered was tapped out, I ordered a different beer but what came to the table wasn't what I ordered. After a reasonable wait our food arrived but we still had no silverware. We asked our server for silverware and she left to go get it, but never returned. We asked a host for silverware and he then left and was gone for several minutes. Meanwhile we could see our original server walking around the restaurant attending to other patrons with no silverware for us. We then asked a manager for silverware and she went in the back as well. After a few more minutes it was the host who returned first with our silverware followed by the manager. Our original server never returned with silverware - she returned right after we received our silverware to ask how everything was to which my wife appropriately responded "we wouldn't know since we just got our silverware." There was an event at the nearby high school that night and many students and their families came in which distracted the staff. More training and professionalism from the staff is necessary before we will go back. If you do go sit at the bar or get take out, otherwise be prepared for a poor experience. And the reason for two stars is that the food itself was fine. Everything else, not so much. read more

Expect to pay $10 after tip for a specialty cocktail that packs the punch of probably a shot. My 100lb friend got two pina coladas to leave without so much as a buzz. I have been coming to Copperhead Grille for years and with the recent renovation I feel like the staff is trying hard to reinvent (for the better) what was already a great place! Copperhead always seems to have a wide selection of draft beers that include the local craft beers and some regular favorites. They also display the beers they have on deck in , which keeps me coming back to try the next one. Everything my family has had here has been awesome and the staff is attentive without being overbearing. They serve hot food that stays hot and the crab Mac and cheese is amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone who lives in a 30 mile radius and anyone passing through. You will not be disappointed! I came here again and the food was excellent again! I had the chimmi filet, chicken, and kielbasa trio and it was amazing! The service is always great but we have found that Andrew is outstanding! Not being from the area - 11pm at night - starving - we wandered in hoping for the best. We got it! Servers were dressed up for Halloween and we got "Olaf" - he was fantastic! Very polite - attentive - just cool - like his costume! Husband had some kind of chicken flatbread and demolished it! Chicken fajitas were my dish and it was incredibly tasty. Went to dinner here with friends. Don't know how i totally feel about this place. It reminds me of the cabin meets t.g.i.f. the service was off the charts awesome I will admit that. It was super busy from bar flies to families and couples. We actually had to make a reservation. The food was okay to mediocre at best. We ordered mozzarella sticks which were the highlight and super yummy. I ordered a burger which was meh. Nothing special the fries which I picked at were decent and crispy. My friend ordered a Cobb salad which was huge and my other friend ordered a suped up grilled cheese with a cup of bisque soup. We also ordered Mac n cheese potato tots which I was told were good, hey anything with bacon gets my vote. Cocktails and beer were perfect not to strong and nice flavor. I recently moved to the area and have been to this restaurant three times. I want to enjoy it, but it has been challenging. The new outdoor area is great, particularly in the fall weather. They have heaters, a fire pit, outdoor flat screens, and a great ambiance. The food is standard pub fare. The beer list is pretty good. For these reasons, I would give the restaurant four stars. Unfortunately, the service has ranged from mediocre to plain rude and vindictive. For the last visit, I went with my wife and daughter. My wife ordered a sirloin steak, I ordered the crab mac & cheese, and we each asked for a glass of water and ordered a beer. Our beers came out, but no water. This happens. About thirty minutes later, our food finally came out. This was the first time we saw our waiter since we ordered, who noticed that I had nearly finished my beer and kindly took an order for a second. About forty minutes later, our waiter cleared our plates. Again, this was the first time we saw him since our food came out. At this point, I pointed out that my side dish never came out. He offered to bring it out now, which I told him I didn't really want it as we were finished with out meal. He offered to box it or to bring a bowl of soup that I could bring home. Again, I told him it wasn't a big deal but I wanted him to realize that my order was incomplete. He left, and the manager then came out. She was polite and again apologized. She offered to bring out the side dish to bring home persistently enough that I just accepted. At this point, I would have happily returned to this restaurant. This thing can happen most anywhere. The waiter then refused to take my bill. Despite seeing him tend to several other tables around us, he did not make eye contact or come over to us. After fifteen minutes, he took my credit card. We again saw him tend to other tables but avoid us and avoided eye contact. Fifteen minutes later, I got up and found the manager who had to go to the waiter and tell him to give our credit card back. I paid full price for the meal, brought a side dish home that I don't want, and wasted thirty minutes just trying to pay for the pleasure of vindictive service and an incomplete order. I can excuse a missed order. I can excuse poor service when restaurants are busy. This waiter was not busy, and clearly avoided us and refused to run the bill because we said something about not getting a full order and got him in trouble with his manager. read more

I took a group of 15 family members to Copperhead Grille today for lunch. It was a combination of adults and kids. We were seated in a back room which really gave us the opportunity to wander about and visit. They were also nice enough to set the tv to the Indianapolis 500 which some of the group wanted to watch. We had one server - according to our receipt her name was Fay (I hope that's right). She was incredible, handling the drink and food orders by herself. The kids were young and antsy and she was thoughtful enough to put in the kids orders with the appetizers so they would get their food first. Our appetizers came out quickly and all the food was hot and delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they ordered, and there were many to-go boxes because the food was so plentiful. She kept our glasses full and the table cleared of used plates so that we had plenty of room to spread out. I made sure to touch base with the manager before we left to make sure he knew what a gem of a waitress he had. I would definitely go back when we are next in the area. read more

Our Son's birthday rolled around so we decided to go to Copperhead Grille since he was there before. We live 10 minutes away but have never eaten there. As it happened we went on St. Patrick's Day so we expected big crowds, but our Son found out that Copperhead had an electronic reservation system setup where our wait was less than 5-minutes! The parking was packed but we were lucky enough to catch someone leaving. Although not hungry enough to order appetizers, we ordered; my Son ordered the BBQ Mixed Grille, the better half the Maryland Style Crab Cakes and I had the Burger Royale. The BBQ Mixed had a little of everything that could be slathered with sauce: baby back ribs 1/4 rack, chicken, pulled pork and bacon wrapped asparagus shrimp with two sides. The crab cakes come with two cakes and two sides. My burger came with choice of potatoes and requested pickle chips. My Son loved the BBQ dish being plentiful and tasty. My wife was comparing the cake with the ones we had in Baltimore and she said very close, so she was satisfied. My burger on the other hand was not rare enough; I ordered medium rare and it was medium, neither the burger or the bacon had any taste but the brioche bun was good. Loved the potato wedges. Shayla was our server and she was exceptional; very attentive on a busy night and she got the orders right. Only fault was she did not refill our drinks. I had dinner there today with my daughter. They sat us at an outside table. As the sun was setting it was shining more and more in my eyes, so much so that I had trouble looking straight ahead. So I asked our waiter to move us. I said, "Look at the sun. It's shining right in my eyes." He said he wasn't going to look at it. He knows what it looks like. He said he couldn't do anything about the sun. I asked him to move us to another table. He was exasperated and said he would get the manager to come and talk to me.
