We Love this place, great food , great staff, big town food and atmosphere in a small town of Milford . the bartender Matt is the best .

We had a rehearsal dinner party in the basement here a week ago, and I have to say that I was pretty impressed. First, the servers were very nice and helpful in making drink selections. Also, the food was delicious. The main part of the restaurant was bustling, which made it feel like a nice little hot-spot in Milford. Come to think of it, the entire town was bustling, and it's Milford, on a Thursday? Things in the Detroit area have changed, that's for sure! Back to the food: salad, check (and I'm picky about my salads - this one had some goodies, and a decent dressing). I had the salmon w/ some veggies - which was lovely (salmon cooked to perfection, veggies cooked to perfection). The people eating the bread seemed to like it quite a bit, and the other appetizers disappeared quite quickly as well (though I did not participate). We had a couple of nice bottles of red wine (half-off on Wednesdays). The calamari piccante was a disappointment. The calamari itself lacked flavor so to get any type of taste to it, I had to scoop up some of the peppers, garlic and scallions. But they were tiny pieces so that meant also scooping up little bits of greasy fried breading. I won't order this again nor do I recommend it (obviously). My friends gave me a slice of their smoked chicken pizza which was very good. I especially like the Boursin cheese that was on it.. Chicken was cubed but on the stingy side (as in two cubes on my slice). This place has potential but simply putting Italian items on a menu and kicking up the price doesn't improve the quality or authenticity of the food. They need to work on delivering food that meets the promising menu. read more

Recently moved to Milford had my wife's 30th birthday party tonight. I couldn't be happier with the service / food. The food is always great, but as a former server I really appreciated the service. Our waitress split the tabs for a 14 top (not required), didn't screw up any of the bills, and provided great service. We will be back frequently! read more

I felt a great cozy atmosphere when we first walked in. I hadn't been in here since it was Appeteasers for years. Not much has changed since there isn't much room to change. It has three floors that are used to set a usually full restaurant. The wait staff was friendly and very knowledgeable, they have to be to tell you what Vitello Saltimboca is! The menu has huge selection of everything from Pizza to Lamb Chops in addition to a choice of 9 Sauces with 6 Pastas all in Regular, Gluten Free and Wheat as well! I tried the Eggplant Parmesan and it was unbelievable. The little Village of Milford has done it again pulling in great restaurateur's like the Coratti's. First time we went there we had a mediocre dinner in their run down, out-dated, grimy dining area. That was years ago. With my diabetic mother visiting, she needs to eat on a timely basis and since we were under a time crunch, we decided to give Corattis another chance. We live in Hartland and its a 40 minute trip with Milfords lousy parking. Tonight we ordered 3 dinners, eggplant parmesan, shrimp Ernesto and Cappelini Arrabiata. It cost $72 before tip. We also got a side of Asparagus. Once i got home i realized they forgot to give us one of the dinners. I opened the asparagus and there were 7 spears. When i called them to tell them they forgot a dinner, i told them that the asparagus side was skimpy and asked them for more. When i arrived, they apologized and gave me the dinner. Returning home, i find that they gave me another 4 spears. Horrible service. Expensive. All clientelle and servers werent wearing masks. Never again. read more

First-time experience. Service and ambiance were great although very noisy on a Friday night. Best Caesar salads and coconut shrimp we have had in ages. Calamari was bland. Green beans served with entrees were not even warm but food was good except for the chicken parm which was burnt and inedible. We never send food back after it is served so we took it home and threw it in the trash. Overall we thought it was pricy for what we got. read more

The food was absolutely delicious, but really this 5 star review is for our waiter, Hunter. We told him we were having a bad day, and he went out of his way to make it better. Hunter was nice and hilarious throughout, but at the end of the meal he stuck around to have a conversation with us since we were his last table. Fantastic service!!! read more

Dinner for 2 with 1 glass of wine, no dessert, no appetizer, with tip was $100. I had Veal Piccata and the veal was DELICIOUS. Unfortunately, the chef decided to pair the veal with green beans. Who the hell serves green beans with veal piccata? Also came with a small spoonful of pasta with a red sauce that tasted like it came out of a can. Great veal brought down by the accompanying food. My date had Chicken Marsala. Again prepared excellently but again with the green beans. Not that we don't like green beans, it just didn't pair well with the meat. Overpriced and disappointing. Nothing special here. Pretty sure the person running this place is not Italian nor knows much about Italian cuisine. Everything was bland to the extreme. The desserts aren't homemade. The food sadly screams of a fast food chain quality not a high end restaurant. I really can't recommend to anyone to come here for a high quality Italian meal. There were 7 of us that came for dinner today, our service was horrible. Our appetizers, soup and meal came all at once, I have to say it was not an enjoyable experience. I have never left an adverse review like this, and management should probably pay close attention to the staff on break, I guess pot is legal now, but for heavens sake not on the job at break time. The worst service ever! Our waitress didn't bring half the food and the half she did bring was wrong! The drinks were wrong but she thought we would just keep them! Bread came well after the came and only after we asked for it. Brought the wrong dessert and then said, "I just brought it, I didn't make it". Our group of 5 ended up here for lunch during Milford Memories. A couple of us needed Bloody Mary's. Surprisingly, it was not too busy and we were able to snag a few tables outside. Bloody Mary's were perfect.....just what the doctor ordered ! 2 of us ordered the grilled salmon panini's and the others had the margherita pizza. The panini's were stuffed with salmon, almost on the verge of being too much for a lunch portion! The sandwich it self was ok. I felt it was a bit dry all around, but edible. Last year we were shopping in Milford and some guys thanked us for shopping there and awarded us a gift certificate for this restaurant. They do give back to the community, which I think is very cool. Finally had a chance to come back to Milford. Unique and filled in cozy setting. Very expansive me menu. Wife and I had a half circle booth which I like. Did not have the wine we selected (I read on other posts they run out of things). This makes me think some drinks are unavailable as a sales tactic to choose another higher priced option or they have inventory issues. Not a big deal to me. Good soup, good portions. It could be on the pricey side so maybe a special occasion night. Even had dessert! Service was good and they have plenty of people working the 2nd floor. Comfortable, cozy, looks great. Bit of a moldy smell as you walk upstairs (??). Wait staff was prompt and friendly. Then food arrived....ughhh. Pasta Rustica (seafood pasta) was tremendously over-sauced in a pesto blend. Described as scallops and shrimp with peppers and artichoke. 3 small shrimp. Scallops appeared diced and the size of of a marble and were few. Artichokes tasted metallic (from a can?). 2 thin slivers of red pepper. Ingredients seemed low end. Taste was poor. Walleye meal was just odd. It seemed like a sugary, candied crust.....sugary sweet. Was not edible as it was way too sugary tasting....for a fish meal!? Kids meal of fries and chicken tenders was a fail. How, I don't know. My kid will eat about anything, and when I tried a tender it had a chemical-like taste. Fries had no taste....raw potato. Alfredo and chicken meal was decent, other kid reported. I can only guess the ingredients are cheap, but $130 later (no drinks and two apps) we left feeling like it was a waste and were hungry since 3 of the 4 meals were not consumed. Stopped by Leo's on way home and ate dinner. Not upset, just won't return. read more

I struggled with how to review this place. In the end I gave it four stars, because the food was quite good, but I could have downgraded it more based on the lousy service we received. We were there as part of a large party, and not only did the servers seem overwhelmed by us, clearly the restaurant is not well-equipped to accommodate large parties. For example, they brought one check for the entire table of about 16 people, and they refused to split the check. They said, "We don't do that for large parties." So they only split checks for small parties? Huh? The check was not organized in any logical way, so it was difficult for everyone to figure out what they ordered ("Which glass of Merlot did I order, the six dollar one or the 10 dollar one?") and add everything up and include the tip. In addition, our table rarely saw our server. The entire table had empty water glasses most of the meal. I tried to order another drink, but could never find our server. Setting aside all of those issues, we really enjoyed our food. It's typical Italian fare, but it is done very well. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their dishes, and they even had gluten-free pasta available for those who needed it. I would eat here again, but not with a large party. read more

The main problem with Corattis on Main is that it is so awfully mediocre. It's not that the food is bad, it just isn't good. It's a shame too because this place is smack in the heart of downtown Milford and a has a great vibe. Sit outside or inside and the place really does have a nice atmosphere. The problem here isn't the service, location or help; it's the food. You'd think an Italian place could get spaghetti right, correct? Wrong. The pasta itself isn't bad but the chef here really needs to learn what real Italian sauce is. I can have better sauce out of a can at home so I've stopped ordering the spaghetti altogether whenever we venture out to Coratti's. Now, we mainly head over there for the appetizers. Order any pasta here and forget it - the sauces taste about what you'd get from a jar of Prego. If they actually make their own sauces they ought to taste it once in awhile. Watch any of the restaurant shows on TV (Gordon Ramsey's show, Restaurant Impossible, etc) and you'll soon be surprised to learn just how many chefs never seem to actually taste what they make! I've also had the Veal Piccata, which was passable but again, wasn't even as good as say Olive Garden's version, and that's not praise. The highlight of this menu is actually an appetizer, the Artichoke Tosca. Artichokes rolled and then slightly cooked or deep fried, served with a delicious sauce. Another great appetizer is the Mozzarrella Caprese with fresh tomatoes and mazarrella. The shame of this is we've lived in Milford off and on for 25 years. I had high hopes when this place opened and based this review on having been there a number of times over the past couple years, but each time I hoped they could finally get it right...well, the chef needs a lesson in what good Italian really is. The whole thing underscores what Chef Brian Polcyn, who owns Cinco Lagos almost across the street from Corattis, somehow missed - what Milford really needed was a place that served good Italian food, not something you might find in the aisle at Gordon Food Service. read more

This place doesn't either believe Covid is a thing or they just don't care. Managers walk around without a mask on (a mask on but pulled down does not count) and there's absolutely no social distancing. The concept here is amazing; however, every single member of the waitstaff seemed stressed and had zero idea what was going on. We didn't get our appetizer or salad prior to our dinner came out. And when it did, it was wrong. The food probably would have tasted better if the pizza wasn't super doughy and cold. Riding on the fact I got undercooked food and everything being wrong with all our members plates, I don't think I'll be returning. Maybe lower the prices or finish cooking the food. Paid 15 dollars for five pieces of bread with the wrong dipping sauces. No thank you. So, if you like great atmosphere and pricey food that will either be wrong or not cooked right or long enough. You pay a LOT for it, and you eat on a table that serves your food not on a normal cloth, tablecloth, but on a long white tucked in paper sheet, which makes you feel more like you are at a doctor's office, than a high-end restaurant! It really quite unnerves you. While eating the long paper sheet table "cloth" comes undone and shakes and crinkles all around sloppily while you eat and makes this terrible sound, very like the noise of the crackling from the paper of the doctor's office bed-paper they change after the next patient, but louder! YIKES! The desserts are decent and the fountain drinks are good, but all this for $14.00 a meal and up, Go to Klancy's down the street and get yourself some rice-pudding and a far-east asian wrap! I am at about 3 and a half stars for Coratti's. This is a good place in Milford, the only serving a full Italian menu that I know of. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the service is always pretty solid. The location is also good, with free parking a block away. This time I tried something that I hadn't had before, and it was as good as anything else I have ordered there. For my appetizer I had battered and fried artichokes, but they weren't all that great. A little too gritty and stringy - not tender like I was hoping. Beware the fish dishes. They are very peppery, even though it's not noted on the menu. That's the only thing limiting a better review here, otherwise it would be four and a half. Still, they were very gracious about fixing the order - quickly. I'll be back. read more

Pretty disappointing. Let's start with the good: I loved the menu options! Lots of good choices that appealed to my husband and I. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The bread served was good but I wasn't a fan of the red sauce served with it vs. olive oil / balsamic or some tasty dipping oil. The bad: The inside of this place is tired... it needs to be updated. For the cost of what is served, the inside does not reflect the prices in the menu. I ordered the rolled eggplant entree. It was tough/rubbery! I could hardly cut through the eggplant pieces and overall it wasn't the best I've had. My husband had the chicken parm and said he's had better. The pieces of chicken were not pounded out or thin as they should be. Unfortunately, there's better Italian options in Brighton and surrounding areas so we would have no reason to go back here. read more

Main Street in Milford is home to many fabulous restaurants, but one of my long time favorites is a place created by a passionate, Italian brother- sister collaboration, Coratti's on Main. From the fresh bread & homemade marinara to the pasta and sauces that are so perfect, you know they're made from scratch, Coratti's knows how to serve up a meal you will come back for! located downtown Coratti's is extremely reasonably priced when taking into consideration the quality of food and portion size! My husband made a comment about how incredible his Filet was for $28.95, not to mention he got bread, a choice of soup or salad and a side of pasta to go with it. My "pick your pasta" dish ($14.95 for cheese filled tortellini (+$3.00) with palomino sauce and baked cheese (+$2.50) also came with a choice of soup or salad and fresh bread and was rich, creamy and cheesy. It was gigantic; I hardly made a dent in it. We started with the flaming asiago ($9.95) which is a cheese lover's dream! read more

The atmosphere was incredible: bocce ball, appropriate decorations, good service, and lively open concept. The antipasto and Cesar salad were great starters and very filling. The American style pizza was nothing special, but was still very appetizing. The toppings were incredible and unique. Cozy Italian restaurant. Reminds you of Italian restaurants in NY. Dim lighting, feel like your walking into grandmas house. The food was delicious. I loved that they served the bread with a side of sauce, exactly how I eat it at home while making Sunday dinner! I did a build your own pasta. Had penne with palomina sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was outstanding. Cocktails were delicious, the server was very knowledgable on the menu and helped with suggestions. Service was quick without feeling rushed. They allow you to "dine". I will absolutely be coming back. I can't wait to take my Italian family here! read more

We ordered the antipasto salad, and Marguerite Pizza to share. We are glad we did. We were brought a fresh bread roll out of the oven with marinara dipping sauce. Very good. The salad is plenty for two and loaded with fresh meats, cheeses, and spring mixed greens with Balsamic dressing. We both loved it! The pizza was even better. I particularly loved the home made taste of the crust, abundance of cheese and tomato. Cooked to perfection. I felt it was lacking just a tinge of seasoning, but otherwise perfect! I'd actually give it about a 3 and a half. I've been here a few times. The food is good. I had the chicken Renaldo. Too heavy but my brothers Chicken Marsala was great. Wine selection is good, drinks are about par. Nice atmosphere, wonderful walking location downtown Milford. Not too overpriced. One big plus is the overhead TV's above the doorway and above the bar, but not upstairs in the main dining room. I think the idea was Pete Coratti wanted a place where people could come and watch the game and have a drink at the bar or if they were going for a nice meal, they could be seated away from that atmosphere. I have eaten here a few times. Shrimp cocktail is safe. Husband ordered the chicken Marsala one night, but they brought him veal Marsala, which I never let him order veal. So he thought, what the hell, he was so sick from that. Think they were just trying to get rid of it, but it had already expired. Never eat there again. I would love to give a higher rating but there is one glaring and off putting aspect of this place that cannot be ignored. The people that own and operate this place need to conduct their business in the office or a break room. All of their arguing and very loud shop talk was obnoxious . I overheard someone behind the bar answering the phone and she was very rude to whomever she was speaking to. This place reeks of unprofessional behavior.
