Corazon Cocina Mexicana has been on my list of places to go for a while now and it was the perfect time to go for Fathers Day dinner. The restaurant wasn't too busy. Soon as I walked in I was so intrigued with all the black lights and colorful walls and decorations. It's beautifully decorated inside and fits the Mexican vibe. To start off we had chips and salsa. The chips were warm so they were fresh and the salsa was made perfectly. For drinks, I got the dragonfruit margarita and my husband got the Cadillac margarita. Both were so good and very strong! For dinner, we both got the chimichanga with birria. Soon as we had our first bite we both spit it out because there was so much fat in it that it wasn't really good. We both couldn't finish it and probably should have got chicken or something else. Because of this experience I don't think we'll be back anytime soon but I'd definitely come back for the drinks.

Right as you pull into the lot you are greeted with an abundance of lights and good vibes. The decorations and ambience inside the place are 10/10. I got the veggie rice bowl that comes with a cheese quesadilla AND WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THIS QUESADILLA??? It's like scraps of someone's actual meal??? Everyone else said their food was alright, nothing crazy out of this world. Big perk is that it's open late.

Food is fantastic definitely recommend the ambiance is beautiful. The food was wonderful and serviced attentive.

Super fun vibe Mexican restaurant. The margs were on point and strong which made for a great evening. Get the pitcher, it makes fiscal sense... we ordered the queso dip, traditional guac, enchiladas ranchers, carnitas and the el sombrero. The guac was different from what I'm used to. Instead of mashed, the avocado are cut up in large pieces and tossed. I kinda found it lacking flavor and a bit pricey for what we got. Otherwise, everything else was delicious.

What an awesome place! It is family owned. We came here on a little vacation looking for a Mexican restaurant. Inside was decorated almost like a trendy restaurant in Mexico, chilled vybes, lots of neon decoration. Waiter was very nice, no issues with him. Menu is large and has something everyone will like. You do get complimentary chips and salsa with your table, but limited to 2 rounds, and its clearly written on menu. Husband went with Mahi Mahi tacos and I did a quesabirria quesedilla. Tacos no issues, delicious and they came with cilantro rice and beans. The birria was also very good, but just very oily, so it got messy, however, flavor was on point and that one comes with Mexican rice and beans, which both had a lot of flavor.

Love this place! Great food and excellent vibes!

We had been wanting to try this place and finally made it over. The drinks are really good! We both got margaritas. I got the pineapple and my husband got the dragonfruit. He ordered tacos and I got a quesadilla. The food was good, not the best we've ever had, but good. Our server was nice and the food came pretty quickly. The best part about this place is the ambiance! The decor is beautiful and I very much appreciated that the music was not too loud. It was just right.

Our server has been so nice and amicable. True Mexican experience with tenant music playing in the loud speaker. Menu is huge, great decor and lots of personnel.

This restaurant is amazing! So delicious and close to our hotel. Great service and they seated 7 of us at 6pm. Cool ambiance as well.

Everything was just good, nothing out of this world but tasty. We were seated quickly and with a smile but our actual attendant was a bit dry. The tacos and queso were delicious and everything was brought out super quick. The tortilla soup was a bit different than I'm use to, as it was a bit more watered down but still just good. Prices were decent and definitely a lot of options. Worth a try!

Exterior and Interior both were very colorful brings in the vibe, just 5 stars for that alone. They started with free chips and salsa, Chips were thin but not fresh and not tasty either. We asked for hot salsa that helped. Started of with Horchata, perfectly made. We ordered goat cheese Jalapeno without meat, I liked the salad that came with it than the dish itself. We did create your combo 3 items, Veg burrito, veg quesedilla, creamy spinach quesedilla. All of the dishes were decent. May be best dive place in night, which will be great ambiance with lighting. Service was decent too, being in a tourist spot not bad not great either

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

I noticed that when a manager (I assume) saw the Fortaleza bottle he rushed over to the bartender and had a side conversation about it while looking over at us. When the bill came, I was told that we were being charged for 3 drinks rather than 2 because he gave us each 2oz pours (standard neat, but maybe he didn't know that) and was being "nice" by not charging 4 drinks. Because they were already having side conversation about it, I knew this wasn't a battle I'd win. So I paid, tipped 25% and left, but I was definitely going to leave a review. Just know going here, they will charge whatever they want for drinks and make up rules. I paid $75 for 2 drinks. I won't be back. Adding on due to the reply. The person that replied to my review was not there during my service and is lying. Neither me or the gentleman with me asked for anything other than the tequila neat, we did however have conversation about our visit to the Fortaleza Distillery in Jalisco and how they pride themselves on businesses they sell to not overcharging for their tequila. Fortaleza was NOT listed in your menu, we saw it on the shelf and asked for it neat. As a bartender NEAT is a known pour. Please don't disrespect me by making things up. As I already stated, we simply asked for clarification which is what I added in my review, paid, tipped 25% and left. A reply from the business was unnecessary, this review is for other bar goers.

When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty, there was no hostess, and we had to wait to be acknowledged. Our server (a Hispanic woman with heavy goth-style makeup--I didn't catch her name) was polite enough, but there were several missed opportunities to improve the experience. The biggest issue was that they were out of multiple menu items we specifically came to try. We had also planned on ordering the duck-themed cocktail that was pictured online, only to be told, "We don't do that anymore." If that's the case, the menu and promotional photos should really be updated. Food: * Chicken Nachos - 3/10: Mostly burnt chips with hard, unmelted cheese. There was barely any chicken, and they lacked flavor. * Watermelon Margarita - 0/10: It was extremely sour. I sent it back and ordered a frozen margarita instead. * Frozen Margarita - Average at best. What was frustrating is that happy hour started about seven minutes later, and our server never mentioned that nearly everything we ordered would have been half-price. A heads-up would have been appreciated. * Street Corn - 6/10: The tableside presentation of cutting it off the cob was nice, but that's really what you're paying for. It could have used much more seasoning, and only two small pieces of corn were served. * Shrimp Tacos - 2/10 * Fish Tacos - 2/10: Both were soggy and lacked flavor. * Spanish Rice - 1/10: Bland and disappointing. Overall, the food was underwhelming, several advertised menu items and drinks weren't available, and the service missed opportunities to enhance the experience. For the prices, I expected much better quality, better communication about happy hour, and a menu that matched what was actually being offered. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.
