We happened on this place, everything sounded great. First off, everything was clean and seemed like fun. Perfect for the area. Our waitress was okay, unfortunately, it started to go downhill after that. They have a pretty large selection of margaritas, so I went with the Patřon margarita. One confusing thing is the sizes of their margaritas. It goes from small to jumbo and up to pitcher. I thought jumbo must just be their way of getting the next size up, like a medium or large. Nope, it's exactly what it is described, it's big. That's okay, I don't know why I thought that, but oh well. It was a good margarita, the size thing just confused me. We ordered some guacamole to start. It came out in a traditional bowl, but it wasn't even mashed, I don't know if it was some old way of doing it that I haven't seen before, but it was almost like the just cut an avocado into quarters and added cilantro and lime juice. It wasn't mashed at all, we had to mash it up ourselves to be able to scoop it up with a chip. My wife got the chicken and chorizo, or the Chori Pollo. It was really good, I got the Burrito Especial. I'm not sure what happened to it, but it was very wet. The refried beans were watery, the burrito was watery. You could tilt the plate and see the water pour off. I've never seen that before. So, overall, I would recommend the chicken and chorizo. read more

Absolutely gorgeous. The hospitality here feels truly upscale from the moment you walk in. This is the kind of place you save for a romantic date night or a special occasion--dress up, sip a couple of ridiculously good (and equally ridiculously priced ) $25 cocktails, listen to live jazz, and enjoy the atmosphere. There are two dining rooms, and if you can, try to reserve the room on the right. The artwork actually moves throughout the evening, creating a really magical experience. That said, the dining room on the left is beautifully decorated too, so you really can't go wrong. The live music was incredible, and the volume was perfect--you could still have a normal conversation without shouting across the table. As the evening went on, glittering dancers and a saxophone player weaved through the dining room, taking the entire experience to another level. Our waiter was warm, friendly, and accommodating. He happily took care of every request, even if one came with a humorous, "We don't normally do that," when someone asked for their steak to be sliced. As for the food... everything we ordered was delicious. The tuna, steak, goat cheese balls, fettuccine, and empanadas were all excellent. The only dish that didn't quite hit the mark for me was the tomato basil empanada, but that's a minor note in an otherwise fantastic meal. The only real downside? The bill. It was genuinely shocking when it arrived. You definitely pay for the experience here, so I wouldn't consider it a casual night out. But if you're celebrating something special and want an evening that feels elegant, entertaining, and memorable, it's absolutely worth it. read more

Corazon Cocina Mexicana has been on my list of places to go for a while now and it was the perfect time to go for Fathers Day dinner. The restaurant wasn't too busy. Soon as I walked in I was so intrigued with all the black lights and colorful walls and decorations. It's beautifully decorated inside and fits the Mexican vibe. To start off we had chips and salsa. The chips were warm so they were fresh and the salsa was made perfectly. For drinks, I got the dragonfruit margarita and my husband got the Cadillac margarita. Both were so good and very strong! For dinner, we both got the chimichanga with birria. Soon as we had our first bite we both spit it out because there was so much fat in it that it wasn't really good. We both couldn't finish it and probably should have got chicken or something else. Because of this experience I don't think we'll be back anytime soon but I'd definitely come back for the drinks. read more

Get the pitcher, it makes fiscal sense... we ordered the queso dip, traditional guac, enchiladas ranchers, carnitas and the el sombrero. The guac was different from what I'm used to. Inside was decorated almost like a trendy restaurant in Mexico, chilled vybes, lots of neon decoration. Waiter was very nice, no issues with him. Menu is large and has something everyone will like. You do get complimentary chips and salsa with your table, but limited to 2 rounds, and its clearly written on menu. Husband went with Mahi Mahi tacos and I did a quesabirria quesedilla. Tacos no issues, delicious and they came with cilantro rice and beans. So first time and last time here. We ordered 15 tacos 12 asada and 3 lengua. The lengua was terrible it was done on a skillet and not properly cooked very robber like. We waited about 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. After that, we were sat and then abandoned for another 15 minutes before someone finally came back to bring us chips and salsa. My wife and I both ordered the grilled tilapia tacos. The fish looked like it had been grilled the day before and left sitting in a steam warmer. The veggies were past their prime, and despite ordering the same dish, our plates looked completely different from each other with inconsistent presentation. My son ordered a chicken taco, but what arrived was a flat taco shell with melted cheese on it. When we pointed out the mistake, they brought out a second plate with a pile of shredded chicken rather than simply making him a proper taco. I am not someone who wastes food when going out. I typically eat everything on my plate whether I enjoy it or not. The food here was so bad that I could not bring myself to finish it. Mexican food is genuinely difficult to mess up to the point of being inedible, yet somehow this place managed to do exactly that. This is by far the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to, and honestly, the worst restaurant I have ever visited overall. I am not sure how a business can treat customers to food and service this poor and continue to stay open. read more
