Absolutely gorgeous. The hospitality here feels truly upscale from the moment you walk in. This is the kind of place you save for a romantic date night or a special occasion--dress up, sip a couple of ridiculously good (and equally ridiculously priced ) $25 cocktails, listen to live jazz, and enjoy the atmosphere. There are two dining rooms, and if you can, try to reserve the room on the right. The artwork actually moves throughout the evening, creating a really magical experience. That said, the dining room on the left is beautifully decorated too, so you really can't go wrong. The live music was incredible, and the volume was perfect--you could still have a normal conversation without shouting across the table. As the evening went on, glittering dancers and a saxophone player weaved through the dining room, taking the entire experience to another level. Our waiter was warm, friendly, and accommodating. He happily took care of every request, even if one came with a humorous, "We don't normally do that," when someone asked for their steak to be sliced. As for the food... everything we ordered was delicious. The tuna, steak, goat cheese balls, fettuccine, and empanadas were all excellent. The only dish that didn't quite hit the mark for me was the tomato basil empanada, but that's a minor note in an otherwise fantastic meal. The only real downside? The bill. It was genuinely shocking when it arrived. You definitely pay for the experience here, so I wouldn't consider it a casual night out. This place is an absolute vibe! I came here to celebrate a birthday and making reservations were easy. As we walked in, Bobbi greeted us with a smile and was helpful to show us our table which was this cozy booth in the back corner surrounded by velvet drapery and Moroccan inspired glass lamps (confused me too). She allowed us to head to the bar for a round cocktails while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Drinks are a little pricey and 20% gratuity is already included so be vigilant of that! When we sat down, Daniel our server was absolutely wonderful. He gave us a tour of the menu which was exceptional. We ordered the goat cheese appetizer and empanadas - both, fantastic. They serve dinner rolls which is accompanied by a delicious butter spread. We ordered the ribeye, ordered medium rare, but it felt a little on the rare side. Wasn't easy to eat, so may not have been the best quality meat, but it was fine. The birthday boy had the short rib which he described as Devine! The table side Alfredo presentation was quite exciting as well! My only negative comment was that they didn't really have a birthday experience. They delivered a glass of champagne and had a happy birthday card, but nothing compared to what you can experience at other I-Drive establishments. I really wanted to enjoy my experience at Corazon by Baires, but unfortunately it fell far below expectations. We were one of the first groups seated in the restaurant, yet it took over 1.5 hours for our food to arrive for a party of four. During that time, there was very little communication or reassurance regarding the delay, which made the experience even more frustrating. Our server, Sinah, was not attentive and did not check in consistently throughout the wait. A little acknowledgment or hospitality would have gone a long way considering how long we were waiting. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. After waiting that amount of time, it was disappointing to receive dishes that clearly had not come out fresh or hot. The reason this review gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. The decor, ambiance, and aesthetic are stunning and clearly designed with presentation in mind. It's definitely a visually appealing space and great for photos. However, if you are looking for a stellar dining experience with strong service and timely, quality food, I would not recommend this spot. For drinks I had a Blind Date: Bacardi Añejo rum infused in cacao nibs \ orgeat syrup \ pineapple juice \ tiki bitters. It was really good. My friend had the Spicy Little Secret: Don Julio Blanco tequila \ jalapeño & dragonfruit syrup \ Cointreau \ fresh lime juice. She liked it, but preferred mine, so she had one of those for her second drink. We shared the Calamari Kung Pao and Shrimp Jalea. Both were fabulous! The calamari was cooked perfectly so it wasn't chewy. The shrimp had an amazing sauce that had just the right amount of spice to it. The lighting and furniture are beautiful and the centerpiece is the bar which looks amazing. I'm pretty sure the dining area over looks mangoes too. The cocktails were really tasty, each $23. For our appetizers we got the beef empanadas. They were really crispy and the beef tasted great however there were too many onions that overpowered the beef. For the entrees, I got the chicken Lena and my girlfriend got the Cuba libre short rib. The chicken was beautifully seasoned and hefty portion. It came with a small portion of potatoes which were good, and the white Alabama bbq sauce was a nice tangy flavor. My girlfriend said the short rib fell off the bone and tasted wonderful. It's small touches like this from restaurants that truly matter! The food was amazing and very fairly priced for how extravagant the restaurant is. The mango lychee martini was so delicious too -- such an interesting twist on a classic cocktail! The only con was the server who waited on us. We wouldn't see him for 15-20 min intervals. We'd be ready to order more food or drinks and he was nowhere to be found. It was just a teriyaki sauce. Cornbread was from a box and soaked in sugar. Cocktails overly sweet. Also tasted premixed. Glasses looked dull and needed a second wash. Ambiance: our reservation was at 6:45pm on MDW. It was completely empty. It felt like being the first ones at a club because you didn't want to pay cover. Table decor was noticeably cheap (plastic dollar tree flowers, plastic decorations, etc) Bathroom was disgusting. Felt like a gas station. No paper towels??? I had to use a Dyson air dryer to dry my hands. After paying for a $400 meal, can I at least get a paper towel to dry my hands? Overall, feels like a club and tastes like a club. I had dinner here with a colleague and we loved the food, service, and ambiance. We shared the octopus, which was tender and flavorful. I ordered the Seabass risotto as my entree and my colleague had the skirt steak. We had a taste of each other's entree and agreed both were excellent. He also ordered some mashed potatoes. We shared the Guilty Pleasure for dessert (cream puffs, ice cream, red berries, hot chocolate drizzle). It was a beautiful and sinful dessert--so delicious! I didn't want to eat too much dessert but it was so amazing that I couldn't stop. I had a Forbidden Dream as my cocktail. The ingredients included Malibu Coconut, Bacardi Añejo, simple syrup, fresh lime juice, tiki bitters, and pineapple juice. I was really impressed with how dreamy it tasted. We didn't know this, but the restaurant turned into a Latin night club after hours. We had meetings the following morning so we didn't take advantage of the free entrance to the club for diners. Corazon is a beautiful restaurant! They put so much thought and effort to making every step you take in their restaurant an experience. From all the flowers on the ceiling, the wall with books with lighted hearts on them to welcome you, to when the elevator opens and you are transported to their wonderful dining room. You can't help but look at avery detail to take it all in. In addition, they have a back room, equally beautiful, which turns into a "club" later in the night. The menu is eclectic, with sushi, raw bar, to pastas, steaks, seafood. All dishes with mixed elements and flavors. The drinks menu is also fun, and good wine selection too. We started with the rainbow sushi roll and were impressed with the freshness and taste. What we didn't like was that they did not bring any wasabi or ginger for it. For entrée, part of the table ordered more rolls, and even after asking twice for these ingredients, they still did not bring them out. So, they had to ask again, even then one came over first and had to wait longer than necessary for the ginger. Our server recommended the Salmon a la Plancha, and this was delicious. My only complaint on this was the amount of salt on the skin, but removing this the salmon was cooked perfectly and the combination of the lobster bisque with the coconut lime rice is genius! I was in town for the food and wine festival at Epcot and my friends and I went out to eat the night before. The property we were staying recommended this place. It was perfect for us. The restaurant has photo ops everywhere and beautifully decorated. I sat at the bar waiting on my friends. Although the drinks were pricey, they were unique in flavor and good. Once my friends arrived we were seated and proceeded to order the whole menu. lol. We started off with the Caesar salad which was soooo good. I had the short ribs and asparagus. The ambiance is stunning; it's beautifully designed and clearly aimed at being a "scene." But if you're coming for a high-end dining experience that matches the prices, you will leave disappointed. The ambiance and music are the best part of the experience, which doesn't bode well for a restaurant. I had an 8:15 PM reservation and was seated promptly, which was the only part of the night that went smoothly. From there, it was all downhill. Our server took our drink order quickly but then vanished. From there, the drinks were rarely refilled, the entrees took nearly 2 hours, and once we needed the check the server was missing, again. The salmon appetizer was quite good, mostly a salmon style crab cake, which is a fun change. From there, all of the entrees were not good and arrived cold. The service was so delayed that the server arrived with free wine, instead of food, to hold us over. Two steak entrees were severely undercooked and the short ribs were mostly fat. I went here for drinks & apps on a Tuesday and had a great time. The entrance downstairs absolutely blew me away and I definitely snapped a few photos in different areas of the room. Once you step in, it is as if you're transported to a tropical and elegant jungle. The dining area upstairs continued that theme and was gorgeous. There weren't that many people there at the time we went so service was pretty quick. The salmon croquettes were delicious and are definitely for people who love salmon and a little pop of caviar. We visited the restaurant on August 9th for our 29th anniversary. It was recommended to us by my husband's employer. OMG! So worth it! We did make a reservation online, which I believe is the only way to make a reservation. A credit card was used to secure it. I don't know if we would have needed it, but I would recommend it anyway. There is a dress code. No open toed shoes for men and no hats or shorts. Entrance is on the 1st floor and then the hosts will sent you up to the 2nd floor by elevator. Our table had a Happy Anniversary sign with a rose! Very much appreciated! We ordered the Shrimp Jalea appetizer. For dinner we had the Fettuccine a la Ruota and the 12 ounce Filet with mashed potatoes. Amazing! I like my steak well done and they prepared it perfectly! It was done as I asked, but also not dry. For dessert, we had the Bananas Foster and it was amazing! The decor was amazing. Service was a little slower than we expected it to be, but we had the time and didn't let it take anything away from our experience. Our total bill for the evening for the two of us was $300. Had a reservation for Father's Day for a party of five seated immediately, staff was very attentive, but not overly so and professional in every way adult drinks were delicious not too strong perfectly mixed. Appetizers were amazing, carpaccio, and grilled goat cheese. Food arranged from steak to seafood to pasta salad, salads, and more carpaccio. Food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. Portion size was perfect with some of us taking home doggy bags. The atmosphere was cozy seating great noise a little much at times. The menu was great with something for everyone. Very thoughtful. The wine selections were also very good, but wish they would serve more of the wines by the glass instead of having to buy a whole bottle. Would highly recommend and will be back. The night began with the valet parking attendant, who was incredibly welcoming and professional, setting a great tone for the evening. I am a HUGE fan of Vegas with lavish, immersive surroundings and amazing drinks. This, and Nami, are the only two places I have found with this vibe in Orlando. THE VIBE - I was completely all in on this. It was stunningly beautiful!!! So over the top. There is a waterfall, palm trees throughout, handcrafted and handpainted bars - and each part of the place was a different view. Every inch of the place was gorgeous and I walked it all! The drinks and service were both excellent. Single ladies, there's a hottie or two behind the bar:) Here's the hint unless you want to go to a full on nightclub - get there well before 7pm on a Wednesday (HH ends at 7). You will just have the background music and great service. Valet is also free before 8pm. Otherwise, there is a garage behind and that's a pain. The food service ambience all of it was just amazing. I think this is definitely one of Orlando's most beautiful restaurant and I would definitely come back although it's on the pricey side the service you get definitely takes the cake. This place is definitely a 10 out of 10. read more

This was my first visit to Corazón by Baires, and it was truly beautiful! The décor was thoughtfully designed, making for a great first impression. While waiting for my party, I sat at the bar, where the bartenders were incredibly attentive and friendly. Since we visited during Valentine's Day weekend, they had a prix fixe menu, so several regular dishes weren't available. We opted for the Alfredo and the pork--while the Alfredo lacked flavor, the pork was delicious, though the sauce was a bit sweeter than I prefer. Our server was okay overall, but we did feel a bit rushed. After dropping off our drinks, we were still deciding on our order since it was our first time there. She reminded us of the two-hour table limit but didn't offer any guidance on menu options, which wasn't necessary but would have been a nice touch. After dinner, we explored the hidden bar, which was a great addition to the experience. Seating at the bar is first-come, first-served, while the rest of the space requires reservations. There were also tables and seating just outside the bar, which was lovely. We spent most of our time enjoying the views and the music. The restaurant is connected to Mango's Tropical Café, and we were able to take the stairs up to catch some of the music before heading out. I'd be interested in returning to try the regular menu and see how it compares. The atmosphere was fantastic, but at the price point of the dishes and cocktails, you want the food to feel just as worthwhile! read more
