I usually order tacos, sprouts, Mac n cheese, corn, & sweet potatos; However, I've ordered the broth bowls, the salads and the rice bowls. EVERYTHING has always been outstanding and delicious. We could have easily split a meal. We had the spicy ginger steak rice noodle broth bowl, and the Korean BBQ chicken bowl with purple rice. That was our favorite. CoreLife has been a great addition to the Louisville area and is close to home. However I am not fond of its options on DoorDash and how inconsistent they are. I will select that I want to add bread and an egg to my meal and it is not added. I am never compensated for anything and it has happened multiple times now. Overall I see they do many carry out orders such as DoorDash more than in the restaurant dining, but do not offer a service you cannot always provide on the app. I have been left disappointed. The restaurant itself is a cute vibe giving you the option to choose your own bowl variety. It gives off a healthy Subway style is the best way to explain it! The staff does seem overwhelmed and probably overworked during this time, but they are always amazing. If you're looking for a healthy alternative, this is the perfect place. It was my second time coming in and my boyfriends first. He was very happy and I quickly turned him on to it! He got the spicy southwest bowl which he loved and I got the taco bowl both times I went. This time was even better than I remembered. Everything fit together perfectly and I liked the tortilla chips on top. They allow you to put the sauce on the side and I got the avocado lime sauce. (Louisville, KY location on Viking Ctr Dr): CoreLife has plummeted across the board (the quality/preparation/presentation of food items, the service, and the hygiene) and the experience during my most recent visit made it official - that was my LAST visit. I use to patronize the Indiana location often but since that location has been closed for months, I made a 28-minute drive to the Louisville location on Viking Ctr Dr to get a large create-a-bowl with no protein (dry toss with dressing on the side). When I approached the cash register, a man who identified himself as the owner, rang up what I thought was my order. He could see what he was ringing up on the cash register but I could not see on my side. After paying, I asked him for a receipt. Upon reviewing the receipt, I noticed that he charged me for the lady's order that was behind me (a Sweet Potato Buddha Bowl and another line item for "More than 5 (2) for an additional $1.00). When I brought it to his attention, instead of correcting the matter, he said that a large create-a-bowl with no protein is the same price as the Sweet Potato Buddha Bowl and went on to also justify the "More than 5 (2)" by stating that the large create-a-bowl salad comes with only 1 cap of dressing. ????? It's bad enough that CoreLife has plummeted, the closest location to me in Indiana has closed, and I drove almost 30 minutes out of my way BUT to add a topping of dishonesty/insult to my intelligence sealed the deal. read more

Yahoo! Very happy to have CoreLife Eatery near my office. Our employer buys us lunch every Tuesday and Friday. We have an $11 limit. This place is great for making that $11 go a long way and the food is packed with exciting flavors. Also they are over the top gluten friendly, which makes them a happy option for our gluten-free employee. She went gaga for the chance to have mac n cheese and said that it was very good. I love the customization options. It might be intimidating for some folks to go through all those choices, but luckily they have default settings if you don't want to think about it too much. Or, you can design your own bowl, taco, or plate from scratch! And the price includes plenty of customizations but if you want more, there is just a small additional charge. I am stuffed after my regular sized build your own bowl with thai noodles, napa cabbage, spicy broccoli, carrots, chick peas, ginger, siracha sprouts, pickled red cabbage, spicy thai steak, cilantro, black sesame seeds topped with a thai cashew sauce. The steak was a little chewy and I would have preferred it to be cut smaller for that reason, but the flavor was delicious. And not too spicy even with so many spicy sounding additions. I heard rave reviews from a coworker on the greek taco. I got a thumbs up from the whole office to put them on the list for future lunches. They use paper bowls too - tho there is a recyclable plastic lid and fork. I ordered online and requested curb side and after calling when I arrived there, they were happy to bring it out to me through the side door - wearing a mask. I only wish they offered group ordering so everyone could enter and customize their own orders. I don't recall seeing a place to add a tip online now that I think about it and I did not have cash to leave one - bad on me. The location is in a heavy construction zone at the moment on the corner of Shelbyville and Hurstbourne, but I zipped right down there with no problems today. There are lots of apartments going up around there. Lucky them to have this place within walking distance. They had a nice outdoor eating area too. I ordered the Korean bbq pork bowl (replaced rice with quinoa) and he got a spicy steak stew. His was very spicy; he liked it but had to take frequent breaks. My pork bowl was good, not great.
