Outstanding selection of dogs and sausages from every region of the US. I've been missing a great Chicago Style dog since moving here 2 years ago. While it wasn't the traditional poppy seed bun, the roll they used (reminded me of the bun you get with a lobster roll) was perfectly substantial, holding the could-be messy hot dog fillings in place. I didn't even make it out of my parking spot before wolfing this sucker down.... The all beef hot dog was jumbo and delicious. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. Spot on. I've been back to Cori's numerous times since my initial review, and want to now credit it with the full 5 stars that it deserves. Cori's staff are all incredibly nice to all of their patrons and greet them when walking into the restaurant and patient when you're not sure what delicious hot dog you want to try next. Cori's has a challenge to try all of their hot dogs to get your picture on their Wall of Weiners (I kid you not). My boyfriend and I have taken the challenge to discover hot dogs that we might never had tried....and others that we'll never try again. It's been a fun experience and gives us something to look forward to when in the Mt. Juliet area around lunch time. Cori's DogHouse is my new favorite place to grab an overdressed hot dog. We had our first experience there when I was nine months pregnant and suddenly had a craving for a hot dog. Cori's definitely fulfilled my appetite. I ordered the Chicago Dog which consists of tomatoes, onion, dill pickle, relish, sport peppers, mustard and celery salt served with seasoned fries and onion rings I shared with my husband. He ordered the Washington D.C. dog which consists of banana peppers, onions, red peppers, pickles and mayo. We both devoured our plates. The menu offers over 30 different types of hot dogs inspired by each region of the U.S., gourmet sausages such as Bratwurst and Vegan Polish, and specialty sandwiches such as the Chicken Philly and French Dip. You can become a member of their elite "Wall of Wieners" when you have completed eating each dog from each region. It may take a while, but Cori's Doghouse dogs were so tasty and inexpensive, I think it's worth a try. read more

WALL OF WIENERS???? HA! this place has me sold already. Convient that the way to get on the wall is to take a "trip" accross the continent eating all of their signature dogs. Also convient that they are the dogs are amazing! Hands down the best tasting bun I've ever had. Basicly a hung of white bread, buttered and grilled. It's the little things that matter. There are 30 high quality toppings and a huge selection of other items. The Bacon Cheese fries had real cheese and real, big chunks, of bacon. We also tried the dog of the day, the Hawaiian and the Andouille sausage. All were fantastic. There is only one other hot dog I've had that I liked better, which was also in nashville, but that was more of a gourmet type thing. If you want the real, might-kill-you-but-you'll-die-happy, deal this is the place. Extremely friendly and happy staff. Now THIS PLACE! I'm kind of surprised I'm really giving it a five star review. The food really isn't THAT good, but I'm gifting out an extra star for bringing effort, class, friendliness, value, and massive amounts of options to the hot dog eating world, and when I say world, I mean the world. They have hot dogs from all over the place with their own unique take on them. For goodness sake they have the famous Tucson dog. If you have a hotdog preference, they have it, and you can have a fried twinkie after. I was conflicted at first as I wanted two dogs, but that kinda woulda made it expensive for a hotdog lunch, unlike the Nathan's hot dog stand outside my class at U of Arizona where I could get 2 chili cheese dogs with raw onions for $5, but you only really need one here unless you're a huge country boy glutton trying to get fatter. 5 stars just because this place impressed me. The food there was absolutely amazing and a very good price point. The design on the restaurant is very awesome. You can get a card where you can try every single dog that they have and which does not have to have a time limit, it took some people over a year but you get to be on the wall of fame if you do along with other perks, so that's pretty awesome. Everybody there is really nice. I had the fried mushrooms as an appetizer along with the West Texas dog that was an all beef dog. My girlfriend had the Boston "hottie" they were both delicious. We even tried the fried Twinkie with chocolate syrup along with the fried cinnamon rolls and everything was absolutely amazing. The only thing that I would change is the sauce that comes with the mushrooms has horseradish in it, and I do not like horseradish I just wish that there was a option for a sauce, like that, without horseradish, may be like a cayenne ranch or something like that. But with that being said the mushrooms taste absolutely amazing even without the sauce definitely a 10 out of 10 will be going back to visit again. Super variety of hot dogs. I mean....like SUPER!! I got the Chicago Style and Coney. The Chicago Style was absolutely amazing, but the Coney's chili was weird tasting to me. Now before anyone gets all weird on me, I'm from TX and our chili doesn't have a taste like that. This chili had a hint of cinnamon? And a hint of sweet? Can't really put my finger on it, but it was just weird. But that's ok because the dogs are perfect and there are so many options that I can choose whatever I want next time. Went here for dinner about a month ago, place was decently clean, cashier was nice, rest of staff was cold/rude and not friendly at all. None of the staff were wearing masks. We were the only patrons in the restaurant, felt like we were being judged for actually wearing masks and adhering to the rules. Outside of that, the food was actually really good. Super delicious hotdogs and fries, relish was a hard pass for me, it was neon green and not very appetizing looking. I scraped it off my hotdog. I love this place soo much I have to give them a 5. I only get to enjoy them a few times a year since they don't have a location near me but when I am in the area, they are my first stop. They don't just serve hot dogs, I always get an Italian sausage dog. They know how to cook sausage. There buttery french bread buns are great and perfect for holding the toppings without getting too messy. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and they seem to enjoy there jobs. You would think there prices would be high but they are very reasonable for what you get. Another big plus, fresh cut fries and a big serving of them. You have to check them out when in Mount Juilet and I think they have another location downtown nashville. Please tell them to open a location in Coolsprings so I can get my cori fix!! read more

Not my first time eating here but I haven't checked it out in awhile. I was in My. Juliet shopping and decided I wanted a hot dog. That's when I remembered Cori's doghouse. Got there an hour till closing we ordered the Pittsburgh all beef, Jersey breakfast on Italian sausage, an order of fries, fried pickles, baked beans, and two drinks; the total was 23.63. It didn't take long for the food to come out. The dogs are huge, you can't really even fit them in your mouth, because of the various topping and bread choice. The Pittsburgh came with slaw, fries, tomatoes and provolone cheese on a buttered new England style roll. The coleslaw has cranberries in it with bring a sweet and tartness factor to the richness of the coleslaw, which in turns help balance the dog. I added some of my baked beans and it was a delightful accompaniment. The Jersey breakfast is bacon, shredded cheese, and fried egg on the same roll. To me they shouldn't hard fry the egg, that way it oozes on to the dog creating a rich sauce to cover it. Nonetheless it was still tasty. The French fries are awesome even on their own, they offer malt vinegar so you can eat the British style, which I love. The fried pickles are wonderful, the ranch sauce tasted more like tzatziki to me but it was great, would definitely order more of these next time. The baked beans could be more "baked" they taste fine but could definitely use some time in the stove thickening up to be more New England style. All in all it's a good value and good food. The service was decent and fast. Would definitely recommend if you're near one to visit them. read more

Oh Cori, I don't know who you are or how you came up with these dawgs but I love you. Is that weird? Yes? Ok, forget I said that... If you've never had one then you just don't understand. My fiancé got "the West" and I got the "Arizona" and we got the half and half (half onion rings, half fries) to share... Everything was SO GOOD! We ate every single last bite even though we weren't all that hungry. You can tell the ingredients are top notch and the buns... Oh the buns! We wanted to take a few back with us to eat later! We actually don't live anywhere near here and let me tell you, that's a good thing cause I would be 700 lbs if we did! If you live in the area and haven't been here, shame on you! I finally got to try Cori's after listening to my boyfriend go on and on about how good this place was. You guys, the hype is real! There are a ton of hot dog variations for you to choose from. I ordered the Memphis, which had cole slaw and bbq sauce loaded on top of the hot dog with a side of fries. (always yes to fries). The pairing was fantastic. Nothing was too overbearing. (Nah - stupid) Well I couldn't come up with a clever opening that hasn't been over-used or just plain corny - so just know it was awesome! I love hot dogs, but rarely get a chance to try anything other that Oscar Meyer's version on a generic hot dog bun with mustard and relish. We had a hot dog specific restaurant in Smyrna for a while, but it didn't make it - I think Cori's would. Shopping at Providence in Mt. Juliet and we hadn't eaten since breakfast which was about 50 hours ago - might have exaggerated, but my stomach would tend to agree. It was 2:00 in the afternoon and we had just finish shopping. We had been shopping about 50 hours - well anyway - If you are new to the area or your wife covers your eyes for some reason every time you get close to Salsarita Restaurant - and since you are driving it's kinda scary...you may never have noticed this understated establishment. Personally I think they should add strobe lights, sirens or someone dressed as a giant wiener dancing outside twirling a sign... It was hard to notice the bright yellow sign on the place next door to Salsarita from the angle we were standing the first time we visited. All I could make out was Doghouse. Pet store? Dog Grooming Salon? Bar for husbands that did something stupid and need a place to think about what they had done wrong and how to fix it? Then I saw the hot dog on a bun character and figured it must be a restaurant so I go to my go-to site - quick plug for extra points - Yelp - to discover it is indeed a hot dog restaurant. REALLY didn't think the wife would go for it, but she did! She did! I'm serious guys - she did! Then I woke up...just kidding. Even though she had already had hot dogs two days this week (work related events) she loves me that much! Jealous?! So we walk in and see a menu board so large you had to walk from one end of the restaurant to the other just to read it all - I lie a lot - probably should get help with that. It was about 8' feet tall and 5' wide though. Dozens of options on pre-selected ingredients - each given a name and divided into regional favorites. Of course you could build your own - or I guess you could say "Surprise me." The good stuff - 1/4 pound all-beef hot dogs. They also have Italian and Polish sausages and may the gods of meat forgive me - veggie versions of all three. Instead of a standard old ordinary hot dog bun they have what is call New England Style Bun. Not really a bun at all, but a thick slice of bread that is buttered on both sides and toasted on a flat top - that's a grill, not the Marine waiting in line in front of us. They then slice it "butterfly" style and add the dog and toppings. Different and delicious! ALSO - the French fries are cut in house - this should be a law in all 50 states. Why would you NOT do this. People flock to fresh cut fries - just ask those 5 Guys (another plug - I get paid for this (kidding again). And if that isn't enough - every thing deep fried is hand battered on site - onion rings, mushrooms - fried pickles for Pete's sake (by the way, who is Pete and why does he get to be famous?). I really want to try them all and get my picture on the wall of fame, but somebody that lives, sleeps and eats with me said no. I have contacted a divorce lawyer. I could sit here for another couple of hours extolling the virtues and selections of this place - but they do have a website - do something for yourself for a change. Just know that every visit there was fantastic - including day before yesterday - can't wait to go back - tomorrow (or not - maybe I should give her a little dog-free time). This is the only hot dog stand this side of Nashville. I went in for the first time and was impressed by the menu board on the wall. I decided to try the coney dog, mustard, onions and chili. I also ordered a drink and fries. The total was $9.17. For a hot dog!!! I ordered it to go. The fries were at least hot and just ok. I expected home cut fresh French fries. The coney dog was served on a lobster roll. The dog was very large. The flavor of the dog was ok, the chili was very thick and had some kind of weird spice in it. The meal was just ok. I will never go back. Prices are too expensive and the food flavor was poor to say the least. So sad, it's the only hot dog stand this side of Nashville. read more

Been coming here since they opened...just love simple, American food...like the hot dog! Cory's doesn't just serve "hot dogs"...they serve hot dogs with "style". Most of the time I am a basic mustard & relish kind of guy, but their varieties are delicious and the corn dog...YUM!!! The fries are good but sometimes can be a bit over-salted...so if you are someone who needs to reduce salt get salt-free.
