The service was friendly and the lovely young lady that took our order was cheerful and nice. The food was average. The cheddar broccoli soup was like warm and runny. Not thick as it should be. The turkey avocado sandwich left much to be desired; very little turkey, very little avocado. It was a good lunch, but average, and I suppose I've come to expect a bit more out of corner bakery. There is lots of seating and good parking at this location but they should bus the tables more often, when we got there we found 6 tables needing busing. I always know what to expect from Corner Bakery. Good food, fresh ingredients and friendly customer service. I ordered the Anaheim Scrambler on my last visit, and it was flavorful. I just wish the portions were larger.This location has a nice size parking lot on the north side of the building with designated curbside pickup spaces. The interior dining room is currently closed but they have a nice shaded patio area, with a few tables. This place is always clean and team members adhere to public health guidelines. Oh my god you are so busy on a Saturday early evening, you change your online, slash phone Service's. I have come to this location a few times and have placed orders over the phone I called 2X and got the phone ordering system, but I had to hang up those 2X as I had to answer a important phone call coming in. So I call back again to place a order, and a guy answers the phone. I said hey I am trying to place a order. Whats goin on with the phone ordering system? He doesn't tell me nothing, just got a "I don't give a f@ck" you are trying to order attitude. So again I repeat myself about the phone ordering system. I think I was talking to a brick wall. Finally I just say. I would like to place a phone order with you. He takes my order. I tell him curbside pick up. I ask hey how do we settle the payment? He replies "You need to order-online" Come on man WTF! So I orderonline and indicate curbside pick up. I order, get to there., call the CS pickup number nope no one is picking up. Now mind you. My lower back is hurting and I'm in a good amount of pain I don't want to get out of my car. I call a few times. I end up going in to the cashier. I see a older dirty blonde manager at the register, and a younger gentleman to the left of her with a beard and glasses. The very first thing I say is Hi, I called your number for CS pick up, and no one answered. I ordered online blah blah blah same as before. He doesn't respond. The blonde older woman comes off with this passive aggressive attitude and says we are really busy today, we are not doing curbside, or the phone system ordering. Came on a Wednesday with my family and was pleased! I couldn't see the kids menu but was given one upon request. The Server taking our order was super patient and helpful! I loved the harvest salad and chicken pomodori sandwich. Kiddos enjoyed the ham sandwich/soup, pasta. The fruit salad sides were fresh fruit and a good portion size. I used to order from here a lot. I'm not sure what's happened to them post Covid, but nothing is working right anymore. They've gotten something wrong in my order the past 3 times I've come. One time my order included a pesto sandwich...that was missing pesto. Another time I was told 15 minutes, then got there 20 minutes later, and had to wait more than an additional 10 minutes for my food. I finally submitted feedback through the website to let them know what's been going on. They told me that they've been short staffed and that they're working on improvements, then said they would have my next order on the house- no coupon, just would make sure the front knew. Now, maybe two weeks later, I called to try to get that order, and the person who answered the phone said "Yeah, I don't know about that, hold on..." and put me on hold for 10 minutes before I was disconnected. Such a bummer. I love their lemon chicken orzo soup...but if the wait time, service and orders are going to be this bad, I just can't justify giving them more chances. read more

I don't know what it is about using UberEats/Doordash for chain restaurants but almost every time, the meal is so disappointing. It's always weird to me because I've eaten at Corner Bakery many times before but every time I've gotten it delivered, the quality of the food is trash. I ordered the Choose Two - a chicken pomodori sandwich and tomato bisque. The sandwich was abhorrently dry with barely a sliver of tomato on a thin, dry slice of chicken and an even thinner, soggy base of bread and greens. The chicken was also so disproportionate that I had a solid 3-4 bites at the end of just cheese and bread. The soup was even more disappointing; the bread topping was complete mush by the time it got to me (maybe consider putting it on the side for to-go orders), and the soup itself was certainly not a bisque. I would liken the texture of this to a cup of warm tomato pulp. It was wholly unsatisfying, not worth the price even before delivery fees. Will likely not return to this location (or even Corner Bakery in general as this is the second location to completely botch a to-go order for me). read more

Zora is extremely unprofessional - a client of mine canceled on our meeting the morning of - giving Corner Bakery almost 5 hours in advance to cancel my ezcater order and Zora, the store manager mentioned that she at least has to charge me half of the total because they started to prepare the order. I used to frequent Corner Bakery often and couldn't remember why I stopped coming until today. I just stopped by today for a slice of lemon pound cake after craving one for the longest time! To my dismay, I was charged nearly $3 for a thin sheet of pound cake (see attached photos). There should be a standard size for slicing cake so that customers like myself aren't disappointed. The good : eggs and bacon cooked nicely, brought A blueberry muffin home and it was nice and moist... but nothing to write home about The bad : the potato's were way overly seasoned with a hella of a lot of pepper. Called the restaurant and was told that another Tracy L placed an order on grubhub at the same time so they mixed up the orders by mistake. The boss was extremely kind and apologetic, sent the correct order to my house right away and gave us free cookies. Very unethical customer service skills. I saw their sign that they had an espresso shot for two dollars and 69 cents and adding an extra shot for a dollar 09. So I told her that I wanted a double. They told me it was five dollars and 38 cents. I said no look at the sign your sign says an extra shot is only a dollar nine. The Young cashier said "well our sign is wrong" . Well I said well you should at least honor it. She did not answer. I was so disappointed. My daughter ate that's all I care about. I had the Anaheim panini it's on a sourdough bread and it was with avocado , eggs bacon and green onions. It was okay I could hardly taste the avocado. And it was a bit bland. I saw that they had soups and pasta and salads I would like to try something else next time. I like the fact that you order and it's not a sit down restaurant. You get a buzzer when you food is ready you get up to get it. They have crayons for your kid while you wait for the food. Their coffee is surprisingly delicious!!!!!!! We usually are very picky when it comes to the coffee at shops like this but this place has really good coffee. It's definitely like a Panera bread style restaurant. Except without the bagels. Awesome little joint right off the 5! My boyfriend loves Corner Bakery Cafe so we came here for Sunday brunch. I'm obsessed with their salads. And he always gets the $8.99 half and half. We ordered the same Berry Pecan Salad (full order for myself/ half order with sandwich for him) The vingarette is too sweet so I opt out for balsamic or the avocado ranch! But better when complementing the sweetness of the salad and the berries. The pecans are amazing and the blue cheese are just perfect. My typical location is in Encino, which seems to have more generous salad portions. This location skimps on the salad ingredients. $1 extra for avocado and I get maybe 5 pieces of avocado. Unfortunate but I probably won't be visiting THIS particular location as often because of the skimpy ingredients. Other locations will give you the whole entree size bowl as for this location it's half the bowl filled. But other than that the ingredients are good and I love how healthy everything is. Nice place to grab a bite especially when you're on a limited lunch break from work. Service was fast during my two recent visits. I even had extra time to chat with coworker even before it's time for us to go back to the office. In both occasions, we ordered sandwiches and paninis which were served with a bag of chips and a slice of sour pickles. The sandwiches were alright but my favorite is the chicken pomodori panini. How I wish that they put more chicken meat on it. I find these sandwiches pricey at $9 a piece. They are plain looking but definitely filling. Sad to say though that I believe I can easily make the same quality of sandwiches with store bought bread, cold cuts and cheese. I've only been here a few times and every time has been great. The most recent time was today for lunch and the staff was kind and attentive. When I couldn't find the water, one of the Staffers -- with a tray in hand -- directed me where to go. Phew! The food came rather quickly and I got the combo half-half option of the D.C. Chicken sandwich which I got last time, never disappoints and the Harvest salad which is wow, huge! All very delicious and I'll be back.
