We waited way too long for our order, nobody explained anything properly, and no one even tried to fix the situation. I literally signed up for Yelp just to leave this review because people should know what kind of service to expect here. This is not hate, it's an honest review based on a genuinely bad experience. Easily one of the worst places I've been to. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

As I was already holding my food, Tony told me that next time I should eat outside. I explained that I usually would, but the outdoor dining area was disgustingly dirty. Instead of acknowledging the issue, he simply replied, "Oh, we can fix that for you," while I was already standing there with my meal. The way he spoke to me in front of other guests felt unnecessary and embarrassing. Customer service should be respectful, even when enforcing store policies. Please take a look at the photos of the outdoor seating area and decide for yourself whether you would want to eat there. One important point: my dog is a service dog. At no point did the manager ask the legally permitted questions regarding my service animal before asking me to relocate. This experience was disappointing, especially as a loyal customer. I am not even sure where to begin, but...so my friend and I go up to order and I order the "NEW" salad. The Butternut Squash and Kale Salad. The description says it comes with 4 grains. I ask the cashier what are the 4 grains. She has no idea what I am talking about so I proceeded to point it out on the menu board. She basically looked at me blankly and said let me go find out. Okay, so she goes and asks another cashier that basically had the same look on her face as well. Next she starts to ask one of the cooks and after a few minutes, I finally said to just leave them all out. I have allergies, so better safe than sorry. Then she rings up out bill. It came to $33.00. I looked at my friend and asked what he ordered and at that point the cashier realizes she over charged us, removed an item we didn't order and says nothing. Not, i'm sorry I added an additional salad. Not here is a revised total. Nothing! Good thing I noticed. My friend was paying for lunch and had just handed over his credit card. Next, we asked for 2 cups for water. We got one. No problem, go back and get another one. Finally our food arrives. I know what Kale looks like, but I don't think the staff does. There was no Kale in with my mixed greens and some of my mixed greens were old and wilted. I really should have taken a picture! I had also asked to add the grilled chicken to my salad. There was so little added, that it wasn't worth it. By the time I added the chicken it was about a $10.00 salad. So not worth the money. The salad was small, had wilted mixed greens, no kale and not enough chicken to make it worth my while. Oh yeah, and I had them remove all the grains since they can't seem to figure out what they are. I will NEVER go back!!!!! Corner Bakery, try training your staff!!!! read more

If I could give this no stars, I would. Last Friday I went with my mom to get some lunch here. To preface this, we're Asian and the guy who works here named Walter is a racist. My mom was taking some time to order so she stood to the side. There was no one else in line but the cashier kept screaming "next". Even after we indicated that we were still looking he continued to scream next until we walked up. As my mom was ordering he had trouble comprehending that she wanted a DC chicken salad. He kept asking her if she wanted the sandwich and she kept correcting him by saying she wanted the salad. He kept asking my mom and eventually he called over an Asian worker to come speak with us. For the record my mom had lived in the US for over 20 years and knows how to speak English. But she doesn't understand your dialect of racist rude a-hole. The lady who came and spoke with us was very kind and help explained the options but we didn't understand her better because she was Asian. She was just a better communicator than Walter. She took our orders and then Walter pushed her aside of finish our order. He was extremely rude in asking what type of bread my mom wanted and kept giving us a terrible look. To make things worse my mom didn't even receive the bread she ordered. We just wanted to get out of there. It's 2018! Why do we still have to experience microagressive rude behavior from people just because of how we look?! Instead of assuming that we're Asians who don't understand English, why don't you brush up on how to be a decent human being first? Think of a famous and delicious little soup soups are served in this network of bakeries! In the cold of Los Angeles is one of the most recommended dishes. I like especially the store located at Fisherman's Wharf by the view of the site and the option of nearby shops for little shopping. Pao has around format: crab, alligator, bear, each more beautiful and has a window where it is taught to model the mass with all these formats. Very cool. Fair price! read more

This has to be the worst Corner Bakery in the entire chain! I recently went there with my boyfriend and we had an awful experience! The staff was rude and my soup was cold! I ordered the tortilla soup and the tortilla strips were stale....Ew! My boyfriends sandwich had very little meat too. It tasted like they made the sandwich like an hour ago, and it was just sitting on the counter. It was very, very dry. I've ordered this sandwich MANY times, and this is the first time I bit into it and actually didn't want it anymore. But, I was hungry so I ended up eating it but there was barely any meat in the sandwich, which is crazy because this whole sandwich is supposed to be mostly meat. All food items have become pricier in recent years so bagels sandwiches will cost you $7-10 each here, which is still reasonable compared to what you have to spend in this area. The store had many seats and can accommodate a large number of customers inside. Some of their furniture can use a replacement/reupholstery.
