I have doordashed from them, while the pizza was well packed and it arrived warm and in good condition, I genuinely did not like the taste of it, I've ordered the chicken garlic pizza, and thought it would have a garlic sauce, however it was filled with garlic clove (2-3 cloves per slice) and had a strong garlic scent and taste. Bland and flavorless is the theme of this establishment. I took a chance, despite all of the negative reviews I read, because I believe in trying things for myself. I ordered a Small Pizza and Half Salad Bundle. The pizza is a good size for a small. Definitely shareable, unless you eat a lot. I ordered the Caesar salad, which is pretty good - fresh, but came with the tiniest container of dressing, which is nowhere near enough for that amount of salad. I added fried zucchini to the bundle, thinking it would arrive fresh and hot. My pizza and zucchini arrived cold, no fault of the driver because the driver arrived expeditiously to and from the restaurant. It looked like the food had been sitting. The portions are good but when the food isn't appetizing or satisfying, that defeats the purpose. One thing I truly dislike is a petty place of business. You have to pay for utensils. I paid for two plates (I will explain later) and a knife and fork. The knife was black and the fork was cream color. They didn't match, nor did they arrive sealed. If that's not tacky and cheap, IDK what is. I've never encountered that in my many years of ordering food. I ordered plates, which I did not need, because a commenter on Yelp mentioned buying slices from this place and the owner or manager called him a liar. That reviewer isn't lying. Those flimsy ass white paper plates that can barely hold anything came from ZPizza. Those slices were likely cheese and they added his toppings before sticking the slices back in the oven. They looked bad, so I know they tasted worse. A refund should have been offered to that customer, not a false accusation. I'm posting pics of my food, because I want the owner or manager, since he has Yelp fingers, to tell me this mediocre BS didn't come from his establishment. It did. When you order bell pepper on your pizza, it arrives with green AND red peppers. Most people will differentiate and say green pepper, red pepper, etc. or when you choose bell, the presumption is it is just green. I don't like red peppers, so that pmo. Stop writing people's names super huge in marker on the bags. Some of us reuse our bags for trash and don't want to waste our Sharpies on having to scratch our names off of the bags. Our names can be written discretely at the top of the bags. No aspect of this order was executed well, so I highly doubt I would ever order from ZPizza again. The only thing that was good is the salad and they didn't even care enough to provide a 2 oz. dressing for it. Be less petty and cheap, work on your food flavors and temperatures and you may see your business increase. You have too much competition not to execute orders well. read more

Don't ever order a BYO pizza on site. They have no attention to detail when it comes to dine in orders. They will prioritize online orders before in house orders. Your system makes no sense. You are making tickets that are sitting for 20-30 mins before making orders to dine in. I had a party 7 and ordered first. And didn't receive my pizza till after every person ordered and received there's. I live in the neighborhood for a while and this is the first time I've tried this pizza. This is my honest opinion and I'm 100% I visited Zpizza. I live just a short walking distance for several years on N San Vicente blvd. Pros: ample space to sit outside while facing TomTom. The older lady at the counter was nice and helpful, she even tells me their popular items on the menu. She is a daisy. Cons: The slices were served cold covered with mysterious meat. To me there barely any cheese on a $6 slice. No taste whatsoever. Overall: even little Caesar & 7 eleven pizza taste better imo. If you're visiting from the east coast you will be sadly disappointed. I wanted to like the pizza however the marinara sauce was questionable. Whoever said this pizza was 5 star was either inebriated or hasn't fully recovered from Covid19 cuz there's no way they can make such claim. Pretty good pizza in WeHo close to all the bars. They are open late and sell by the slice. They have a good happy hour special where you can get a slice and peer for $8. Staff were super friendly and were able to give us bar recommendations. Some seating inside and some outside but can be a small space though we had no issue. Wow!!! SERIOUSLY, I was blown away by how amazing this pizza was. I ordered a small Z works pizza and the crust was a perfect combo of crisp & slightly doughy. All the ingredients and cheese were obviously so fresh and high quality. It was just so tasty!!! I HIGHLY recommend ordering a fresh made pizza....you never get the same experience if you just order a slice. It's definitely worth the short wait!!! This place will be a unique review, as it will center around the fact that one of their staff members reprimanded me for being a mean customer, or more precisely, a caricature of the customer who all staff members hate: the normal brute that becomes an abusive monarch when their delusional sense of worth becomes so big because they spend a couple of bucks at a place. I will attempt to give a balanced account as the following question deserves a properly vetted answer: When does a customer's expectation for appropriate service become too much for tired staff? A different version of this question becomes: When does tire staff have the right to express their own frustration at a customer who can no longer be heard? I pass this place. I saw a man who, read like he could use a meal on me, sit outside one of their tables. I asked him if he would like some pizza, the man said yeah. Truth be told, my helpful heart was also full of selfish intent. If there was a customer only rule for the bathroom my new friend would provide the opportunity for me to pay my way into their facilities. I entered and a worker behind the counter. I informed him that I was going to pay for him, while I went to the restroom. He did not utter a word, and just kind of let me go forward in my quest to empty my bladder. I go to the bathroom door, and it told me that I needed a token. So I looked at the first man, and he pointed to the cashier, who I would later find out was named Efrain. I asked him for a token. He extended one to me, and then pulled it back and said "for customers only". He could have said, "of course, sir, but please know that the facilities are only for paying customers" or something akin. And his choice was not made in consideration of economy in words, it was more like a statement of curtness. I clocked it. I felt it. I said I will be buying him a pizza, pointing to my new friend. I went into the bathroom and came out. Mike, the man who let me buy him some pizza, had ordered a pepperoni slice? Just one, I inquired. He added a second. I mean, who can eat just one slice, when one is hungry? I know I can't. I paid for the slices, and then both went into the oven. I wondered why wasn't the first slice already in the oven? Mike had already told them his preference. Did the policy of this place run so deep that they could not warm a slice until it was paid? That seem excessive and I could not shake the belief that these were procedures put in place because we read like we lacked the funds to pay. And, again, this is conjecture, but also not extreme. And I was already annoyed at Efrain's lack of etiquette when I asked for a token. And call me wild and needy but I believe that service should be given with a smile and courtesy to patrons. I know that when I am of service, I am grateful for the chance and that gratitude shapes my actions and language because I must uphold the respect and dignity of the person who trusts me with their needs, even if they just need me to hand them a fork with pride. As I was waiting for the pizza to be warmed, another customer came in and Efrain greeted him like they were two friends, with a handshake, glee, and smile. Why was I not given, even a drop of that vibe? I asked Efrain, why the pizza was not ready? Efrain, started to seem irk at my question. I took the cue. I told him never mind. He said, basically tell me what you want to say. I said a new never mind, and then he pressed. Ok, if you want to have this conversation let me approach you so I can share with you my thoughts from the way you spoke to me regarding the token and my concerns over wait for food. And then it happened, I was reprimanded by a cashier, not loudly, but sternly and in front of others. I cannot remember all that was said but I did immediately write some things on my phone: If you need to feel superior by yelling at a cashier, I deal with people all day that are demanding and rude, if you need to get a win for today and this is the only way you can get it, this was an awkward social interaction, you do not treat people like this who handle your food. Efrain even said I get off soon--- and you know what that implies. I took his words and said nothing. I felt like I was hearing a child trying to convince me that toys come to life when nobody is looking because they saw it in a movie. I needed to hear him to placate him because I knew that his whole belief system was wrong. . So did I live a moment where I was a villain finally conquered by the spirit of all staff members in unison? No. Efrain had made me a punching bag that did not deserve the hits. If my nephew were to go into the service industry, I would tell him to remember customers might be tired or lack class but as someone who serves it is your duty to do so with care and joy and that will protect your dignity and remind customers to behave in kind. I subbed the truffle honey for the hot honey, also added arugula and wow, my dream pizza was born. Obsessed with a customer service, love the owner, and couldn't ask for a better experience. I had a very upsetting experience at the Zpizza in West Hollywood. One of the cashiers was kind and respectful , but another employee made an extremely cruel and disrespectful comment toward me in front of other customers I asked if the restroom was open, and because of my hearing challenges, I didn't catch his first response. I asked again and instead of simply answering, he loudly said, Didn't I already tell you, deaf b***,"* and repeated it multiple times while others were around. As someone who has struggled with hearing loss my whole life, this was deeply humiliating and caused me emotional distress. Publicly mocking a disability is never acceptable. No customer deserves to be treated that way ever. I am emotionally distressed by how this person spoke to me in front of everyone. It was degrading and has stayed with me long after leaving the restauran I truly hope Zpizza management addresses this immediately through proper accountability and sensitivity training. Then, to make things even more strange, I was told I was "beautiful"... without the person even seeing me. That's not only bizarre--it's inappropriate and unprofessional. It's this kind of dismissive, off-putting behavior that makes you wonder how seriously this place takes its customers. If rent is as expensive as I imagine, turning away business doesn't make any sense. This type of operation is likely what led to the first location being shut down. To make matters worse, I ended up having to order online--paying more due to added fees--just to get the same pizza I initially tried to call in.
