Came back to Corner Grill to try their Korean Tacos. It was a late-ish lunch on a Saturday, yet there were still quite a few tables of people eating a variety of foods. Staff was just as friendly as before, and the place still has that lived-in, homey charm. I ordered a pair of tacos: BBQ Beef and Crispy Shrimp. Both come with shredded cabbage, sliced jalapeños, cilantro and a creamy, mayo-based sauce. The shrimp taco worked perfectly, with a crispy, tasty coating giving way to plump, fresh shrimp. The sauce melded into the cabbage, almost making a slaw you might get on a po' boy, and the peppers added a nice heat. I added a squeeze of fresh lemon, and that rounded things out nicely. It was a great bite of seafood. The BBQ Beef was less successful. The mayo and an extra dollop of chipotle mayo were too much for the small taco, and overtook the flavor of the beef. The beef had a nice flavor, but was a bit too dry, and had been chopped a bit too finely -- I would have liked larger pieces to really enjoy the flavor. In fact, others were eating the BBQ Beef plate, and the beef there looked far more appealing. So, I'm not discouraged. I'll come back for the full plate treatment, and see how things stack up. I still think this is a great place that deserves your attention and support. Good people.
If you know, you know. We found Corner Grille years ago, and it has been amazing every single time. It's such a unique Korean-Mexican fusion spot -- flavors you truly won't find anywhere else. The combination sounds unexpected, but somehow it works perfectly. We've tried a few different items over the years, but the Chicken Korean Fries are our absolute favorite every time. Nothing like it exists. The flavors are bold, layered, slightly sweet, savory, and just combined so deliciously. It's one of those dishes you crave again and again. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall spot in a small shopping center -- super unassuming -- but don't let that fool you. It's 100% a must-try. Some of the best, most unique food is always hiding in places like this. If you're looking for something different and seriously delicious, put this on your list. We'll keep coming back.
Delicious Korean food from a unique Korean fusion restaurant that serves traditional Korean plates like beef BBQ with rice and salad, but also Korean style tacos and burgers. The beef BBQ was flavorful and a generous portion. Fried shrimp is delicious. Strange choice of Christian music if you dine-in.
I hadn't been here in a while since Covid, for no reason really. Glad to come back. I love Korean Fusion food and my order of a Beef Kalbi Burger and BBQ Chicken Salad were both fantastically filling and satisfying. The portions were good and very tasty! Staff were pleasant and the interior was clean and pleasant. Prices are reasonable too. I was surprised to be the only customer eating in, Parkimg could be tight however when I was there I got a spot outside.
After a glowing review from Jason the Chao, we immediately set sail to Corner Grille. Such an unassuming plaza holds an incredible fusion gem which really captures the Korean American combo. The galbi sandwich on Hawaiian sweet rolls is a classic that we have all put together at some time and this menu item was a favorite. My personal favorite was the fried chicken sandwich on brioche bun, and the tacos were also delightful--we tried one of each. I would say that the fish and shrimp were decent but the other tacos were excellent! They even brought some ice cream out for us on the house--what a wonderful treat! This restaurant really embodies the valley--fusion done very well, with no pretense, in a plaza you would pass by and not even notice. We will absolutely be back, as we enjoyed every bite!!
Was quite surprised by Corner Grille. The location is kind of sketchy and from the outside it doesn't seem like much. However once I ordered I discovered this may be one of my new favorite spots in the valley. It can take a minute to get your food but the wait is definitely worth it. I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. Pretty sure I've tried half the menu at this point. There's only a few people on staff but all the food comes out piping hot and fresh as soon as it's ready. Their chicken strips are phenomenal. Very crispy and good flavor. The Loaded fries are also a MUST have with the beef on top. Just utterly delicious. This is a meal in itself. I've also tried the wings, Tacos, Kalbi Beef Burger, Chicken Teriyaki, and Xango. All of them where just outstanding. The staff has always been very nice and helpful as well. I highly recommend.
Nice tacos! I got the BBQ beef tacos and got to choose the spice level. I really liked the flavor of the beef, and the taco was delicious. The portion seemed pretty solid too. We ordered online for pickup, and it was very time efficient.
I wish we had taken pictures before devouring everything, but that just shows how good it was! We ordered the beef tacos, which were packed with flavor and loaded to perfection. We also tried the medium spice chicken plate with salad and rice, the spice level was just right, and every bite was absolutely delicious. For dessert, we got the macarons, and they even surprised us with an extra flavor to try, such a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. Service was excellent, truly 10/10. The young lady who helped us was friendly, attentive, and walked us through the menu since it was our first visit. The food came out quickly, hot, and delicious. This experience definitely turned us into loyal customers, we can't wait to come back!
A small hole-in-the-wall spot tucked into a strip mall--not in the best part of town and with limited parking. The setup is modest, with plastic utensils and a no-frills dining area, just a step above fast food. That said, the food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is warm and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you care more about flavor than ambiance. A suggestion is to remove the award winning signs from many years ago. It makes one think "what happened that they're no longer winning any awards". One can also assume, they're up only to hide what goes on in the kitchen as the separation between kitchen and dining area is a glass wall.
Amazing Burger!!! I ordered the Hungry Boy Burger & it was delicious! Every single bite was amazing! Loved the grilled Hawaiian rolls, the spicy beef made the burger more dynamic & bursting with flavor, bacon was great quality & plenty of it, the special sauce went perfectly with the burger. Overall great experience & excellent Burger!
On 5/19 I visited the restaurant to get lunch for my overnight shift. I've always passed the restaurant and wanted to try it based on the reviews and pictures of the food. I went in to order 10 piece wings, which after tax was $18+. Overpriced and I should have walked out but ordered anyway since my time was limited. The large boards, bragging about their excellent reviews additional lead to me staying. While still waiting for my food, I ordered a Western Hamburger also know the wings would not be enough. So the pictures and videos are below. I wasn't going to bother with a review but after talking with a person the next day saying that the wings are normally cooked burnt, it was my duty to let you know to not order the wings. Go to 7/11 where they are bigger and taste better. Also burnt was the onion ring in the burger. I grade this restaurant a D for poor execution and lack of accountability. These wings went to the stray cats at work. At least they enjoyed my money. Will never go there again after no compensation for a disappointing experience. The last picture is what I thought I was buying off the menu. $26 total for a terrible meal. The ambiance was empty as only 1 person was in the restaurant and 1 person waiting for take out.
Came here for lunch again! Once again, they were nice enough to give us some free potstickers they were just as delicious as the first time. Place was a little quieter this time it was during the weekday so maybe it was just a little slower this day. But the food was still incredible. My husband ordered the kalbi beef ribs and I ordered the spicy beef bulgogi and salad with a side of rice. I actually love their salad. It is so good and the dressing that they give you is delicious. OK so next visit I definitely need to tell them just to make it regular because when they say spicy even though I picked just a small spice level or I believe it was medium it was really spicy. I couldn't eat it so I ended up giving half of it to my husband and taking half of it to go. My husband loved the ribs though they were absolutely delicious if you'd like spicy I recommend getting these and making the spice level high on them. And once again, we had a great visit. Definitely a good spot to grab a quick bite. Highly recommend giving them a shot. Thanks for another incredible visit corner Grill.

I mean what do I have to say about this small restaurant located on the very corner of a block. Well, it's good food. No, it's really really good food. I would order here a lot from post mates. One thing I can compliment instantly is the fast delivery. I would usually order a lot from this place, but they always manage to complete the order quickly. Today I decided to do a takeout order. I ordered the Kalbi Burger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and Korean fries. I'm telling you, all three of these items are a must try. 5 star for all 3 items. The kalbi burger is sweet, tender, and has well seasoned meat. It's topped with a kind of slaw that is refreshing to the taste. The crispy chicken sandwich had a nice tangy sauce, which also comes with a slaw in the sandwich. The fillet itself is incredibly crispy and well seasoned. Now the fries. Oh I love the fries. The Korean fries are crispy and come with jalapeño, mayo, cheese, beef, and some other sauce. Each little component in the fries compliment each other perfectly. Today was around my 8th time ordering the fries, and my eyes still roll to the back of my head with the first bite. On previous visits I've tried the taco, beef bulgogi, and kimchi. The kimchi is good store bought kimchi. The beef bulgogi was good in flavor, but I found it a bit dry. The beef taco was good but hefty in price. Instead of getting the taco, I recommend choosing something from the 3 must tries I mentioned earlier. Actually, some items are hefty in price. The kalbi burger and crispy chicken sandwich were each 8 dollars. Though, it is worth it for the incredible flavor. Corner Grille is a very unique restaurant that serves delcious Korean fusion dishes. Will definitely be ordering here again. read more

I have had Corner Grille delivered a handful of times. The food always comes piping hot and delicious. The prices are fair and if you order off Doordash, they sometimes run specials for discounts if you spend x amount. I typically opt for the galbi plate or the beef bulgogi plate. The galbi does have a spice to it, so keep that in mind! Both are mouthwateringly good. My only complaint is that I wish they weren't so stingy with the size of the kimchi side that I pay additional for. -1 because the galbi quality is a hit or miss, sometimes extremely fatty/cartilaginous and sometimes not. read more

First time visiting and I will be back again. I ordered via Yelp for pickup. The bbq chicken & rice was delicious. The kalbi burger (I got without onions) was amazing. The portions are great, enough leftovers for another meal lol. read more

I was on my way to a small meeting so I stopped in to order some apps to share. I ordered the sweet potato fries, the jalapeno poppers and mini corn dogs. Good food, good service. Super quick and friendly which is everything I can ask for as a business traveler! Note to self, that Cajun shrimp dish looks and smells amazing!!! They passed by my table on the way to the next, so I got to only see it and get a brief whiff....yum! The food experience is not all taste, presentation and smell are equally as important, eh?!? Cool concept, but just didn't do it for me on the execution. I love that it's a mom and pop shop, and from other reviews, perhaps I'm in the minority so take this review for what it is! I tried the crispy chicken sandwich and the Korean style fries. Chicken sando was essentially a chicken katsu (panko breaded) between two buns, topped with some tonkatsu. Outside of tonkatsu and mayo, not too much flavor profile. The Korean style fries was topped with bulgogi, two types mayo, and jalapeño. Mayo was overwhelming and the meat was average. Overall, worth a try if it's been on your list and your in the neighborhood so you can judge for yourself. read more
Been wanting to come here for a while now but their stars never really lined up. Finally today was that day!! Perfect rainy weather and quiet home. I stopped by and ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and seasoned fries, no drink. Gotas drink water and be healthy ha! First the fries, they were soggy. Granted I did drive 20 min home. Besides being soggy they were greasy and salty. I do look forward to trying kbbq fries. Now the crispy sandwich. Holy crap it's goooood!! The chicken was still crispy, warm and the slaw was a perfect touch. Definitely filling and made with love. The establishment is clean even considering the terrible area. Tons of chairs and tables to sit and eat.i look forward to coming back, getting better fries and updating my review to a perfect 5 star. Random location but great tacos with a Korean twist. I had had the beef, shrimp, fish tacos. They have a special going, buy 3 tacos and get 1 free. They were all big and delicious, yup that's what she said. All of the ingredients were fresh, well balanced, and had a great asian spice kick. The beef tacos were my favorite. This place has a full menu of various items. The Kalbi Burger and Korean BBQ fried looked good, will get them next time. The owner is super nice and gave us sample of some bbq meat she was working on. They also have a Yelp checkin offer for a free fountain drink. Found this gem on yelp when I was super out of my area. I saw the restaurant had great reviews and my wife, mother in law, and I decided to dine here. We asked what dishes were popular and they guided us to the dishes I have pictured. For the sake of not butchering the names of the dishes. We got a burger, their special fries, and 4 tacos. The burger was on Hawaiian buns and had a good blend of sauces. The fries were really good I highly recommend ordering those if your in the mood for fries. The restaurant does a special if you order 3 tacos you get the 4th for free. The tacos reminded me of Baja style deep fried tacos. Super similar and they resemble Mexican tacos. The owner or manager on duty was thanking the customers and I even saw her give 2 lollipops to 2 kids in the restaurant. The only draw back is the parking, tiny lot with tiny spaces. Honestly this place is a hidden gem. The owners are so nice and the food is even better. The Kalbi burger or the Hungry boy burger are my go to orders, depending on how hungry you are you might want to just get the Kalbi burger and the Korean barbecue fries which are so amazing. Next time I go I will definitely try something else just because of how good those two things have been the last five times I've went! read more

Summary: second time here and both times we went, we were full of excitement because of the amazing yelp reviews....we left curious after the first experience and left somewhat disappointed after my last experience .... Food: decent food but the Korean beef bbq taste gets old really fast. We ordered the kulbi burger and the Korean bbq beef plate and at first the taste is amazing, like really really good... but as soon as we got to the car, I felt like I just had too much of that Korea bbq taste (hard to explain... but just too much).... the crispy chicken burger was okay at first but I didn't finish it and I felt really stuffed with it afterwards.... did not feel too good on my way home and for a couple hours in (not sick but just not comfortably full).... Customer service: it seems like it's always busy at the restaurant. The manager/maybe "owner" i feel is really nice on the inside but comes across over the top a bit (at least the 2 times I've been here...)... Parking: if you come during the day (lunch time hours), good luck! We went on a Friday night and it was slightly better, but still harder than most shopping centers...parking is a serious... very serious problem... Conclusion: you have to try for yourself. Try the kulbi burger and see how you feel after you eat.... I don't think I'll come back here, but it's worth a try.... read more

How in the world did they get rated so high on Yelp?? I gave them two chance and on both occasions was just bland and mediocre. Better to go to a Jack-in-the-Box or some fast food. I ordered the fish tacos as well as the crispy chicken and it was literally disgusting. Never again. Eeww read more
Decent book in panorama city. Combo chicken sandwich with small side fry, and a drink for around ten bucks. Might be just a lunch special, don't know. Ordered spicy fried chicken sandwich. Chef forgot to cook it as it on the first. Manager fixed it with some fresh sliced jalapeños, but my request was totally dismissed; for I wanted the sandwich spicy, not the toppings. Amazing!!! Had the kalbi burger, beef tacos, fish tacos and K style chicken fries. Burger= Awesome! On Hawaiian buns. Taste is amazing. Beef quality perfect! Beef tacos= Awesome! Plenty of meat, cabbage and sauce. Perfect! Fish tacos= not bad but I enjoyed the other items more K style chicken fries= oh my lord!!! The BEST!!! Definitely coming back. Came here thinking good price burger... yeah it is a good price for 5 bucks but lmao is it so laughable it's 1/3 the size a real burger. Took them 15 minutes to cook it, weak flavors.
