    French Onion Soup

Brought my family here for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. Esin is a great lunch or dinner spot that has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. They take reservations so be sure to take advantage of that when coming. The service across the board was great, the host who worked with me to make our reservation for a larger party was so nice and the staff the day of were incredible. The team worked quick to serve us and make sure we had a wonderful time. On the food front, everything was great. I got their grilled salmon special which I hope becomes a mainstay on their menu, as it was perfectly cooked and tasted fresh and packed with flavors. Their French onion soup was good, and so was their clams appetizer. I'd also recommend saving room for dessert, as all of their pastry items were very tasty too. Overall this is a great spot to check out if you're in the area, the food is great and so is the service!

I ordered the pot roast, and it was really good. It was raining outside, so it felt like the perfect comforting treat. I am still craving it and would honestly go back just for that dish. It cost $28.50 and came in a generous portion, which made it feel like a great value. The service was also very good. We arrived right when they opened for an early lunch, which made for a relaxed start to the meal. By the time we were leaving, the restaurant was already starting to fill up, which says a lot about its popularity. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained, and the ambiance was warm and inviting, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.

Our server Toni went above and beyond. She is very sweet, attentive, and patient. She was very accommodating and mindful of allergies. If you chose to dine at this fine establishment, do yourself a favor and request Toni as your server!

We took my in-laws here to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. We made reservations and were seated pretty quickly. I ordered a mai tai. Wasn't expecting too much it was good but they skimped on the mint. Everything we ordered came quickly and was prepared to perfection. Food was delicious and staff was friendly and made the night memorable. Overall the restaurant is very nice and cozy. The decor is elegant and classy.

Delicious food, great wait staff and comfortable seats. The BEET salad is fantastic and the fish with polenta and ratatouille very tasty. Best tart crust I've had since I don't know when...Matt, a.k.a. "Mack" was wonderful.

Went to this restaurant on a busy Friday night. It was packed! Food took a bit long but we had good company and ordered appetizers which allowed us to eat and wait. There are a lot of solid options along with drinks as well. There's some booths, tables, and also a bar. There's staff was super kind and accommodating as well. Would highly recommend to those in the area! Call ahead or make reservations online since they have good business!

My wife and I stopped in for a spontaneous anniversary lunch and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm, inviting atmosphere and seated fairly quickly. There were plenty of tables available for a Sunday afternoon, which made everything feel relaxed. Our server brought menus and thoughtfully went over a few off-menu specials. While they sounded great, we decided to start with the burrata appetizer, followed by the steak sandwich and steak frites. The burrata was incredibly fresh and flavorful--a perfect way to begin the meal. The steak frites were excellent. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the fries were topped with garlic, essentially making them delicious garlic fries. While I would have preferred the fries a bit crispier, they paired very well with the steak and were still thoroughly enjoyable. My wife loved her steak sandwich and was pleasantly surprised by how light the bread was. It held up well without feeling heavy and soaked up the steak juices nicely, especially with the table mayo. This place is definitely on the pricier side, but we don't mind paying a bit more when the food and experience deliver--and they certainly did here. We would absolutely return.

Came here on a Monday night around 7pm. There were actually a lot of ppl for a Monday night . This is what we order Salmon tartare- the tartare was good however the chips were quite mediocre Pot roast - it was good but didn't wow me. It came with veggies and mashed potatoes which were good too. Pork Chop- was very tender and juicy. Very impressive dish. highly recommended it! White chocolate banana cream pie- it's gluten free thus the crust lacked the texture. Service was ok. We didn't feel too welcoming. Dishes took a while to come out. Ambiance is good for a date night.

Came here for dinner and was seated on the outdoor patio. There were plenty of heaters to stay warm. The waiter was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu. Bread is available if you ask for it. I tried the pot roast and steak frites. Both were delicious.

Banana tart. Not too sweet and delicious!

I really love this restaurant. They do everything well. From the minute you enter the door, the customer service is excellent all around. I really enjoy taking my Grandma here as it's close by and the parking is convenient. The desserts are the stars of the show here. You cannot leave without ordering one or two! I ordered the vanilla gelato to share with my Grandma and they even split it into separate bowls for us. My parents shared the banana tart and I tried a little bit and it was good. Not too sweet. This is a nice place to sit out in the patio. Although they don't do reservations for it, they can put a note on the reservation that you would prefer the patio. If you come when they open at 11:30am, you won't have an issue. The manager is super nice and the staff are all very friendly. I appreciate small businesses like this as you can tell they put so much love into it. I would say this is a nice place to celebrate a birthday (which we've done for my Grandma) and other special occasions. Also just a nice place in general even if you don't have an occasion!

Cod special with vegetables over mashed potatoes

My BFF invited me here for my birthday lunch at noon. It was very quiet - we had a window seat. Restaurant started to fill up more an hour later. You need to request the bread which is served 4 small slices at a time with butter. I had the fish over mashed potatoes with vegetables and my hubby had the pasta with seafood. Both were enjoyed. It was pleasant as the place is not overly crowded or noisy. Service was good. Prices for entrees ranged from $19 - 38 depending on what you order I got a birthday complimentary scoop of vanilla ice cream with a biscotti. My BFF ordered a cheesecake for all to sample. Overall very pleasant lunch more so because of the company.

    Sunday night prime rib dinner

Came here for dinner with a friend of mine coming from out of town. The restaurant is tucked into a corner of a shopping plaza but the vibe felt upscale & intimate. Servers were professional and attentive. The menu was well thought out with many options you can mix & share with friends, and had an extensive spirits and wine section. I got the primer rib dinner since it was Sunday (and why the heck not!) I like my steaks medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and broccoli rab were excellent sides. We finished the evening with the upside down strawberry cake and it was deliciously soaked in a sweet, lemony cream. Will come back again, maybe for a date night!

It's popular and deservedly so. We visited the Walnut Creek location for a Saturday brunch at 10:15 AM. When we arrived, it was already packed with people waiting outside. You can book a reservation for this location with Yelp. The staff is fairly strict about an entire party being present before they can be seated. Our family brought a party of eight. Here's what I got to try on my side of the table: DRINKS Barista's Favorites * Oat Uji Organic Matcha ($9) - 1st harvest matcha grade, oat milk Mimosas & Spicy Friends * Millionaire's Mary ($16) - vodka, spicy housemade Bloody Mary mix, tajin rim, Millionaire's Bacon FOOD Small Bites * Earl Grey Blueberry Croffle ($16) - croissant waffle, burrata, blueberry marinated in Earl Grey and basil EVOO, housemade blueberry marmalade * Korean Fried Chicken ($16) - boneless crispy fried chicken chunks, hot and sweet gochujang sauce served on the side Millionaire's Bacon * Millionaire's Bacon ($15) - original; thick, free-range bacon, baked with brown sugar, cayenne, red and black pepper Benedict & Friends * Blackstone ($26) - poached eggs on ciabatta, served with potato medley; Millionaire's Bacon, asparagus, cherry tomato, Meyer lemon hollandaise, chive Kitchen Specials * Tornado Galbi Omurice ($26) - twisted scrambled egg over fried rice and vegetables, braised short rib, demi-glace scallion, pickled onion, chive, cherry pepper Maple Plates * Marnier French Toast ($18) - extra fluffy thick milk bread, bruleed on top, Grand Marnier cream batter; served with Maldon salt, pure maple syrup * Coconut Moffle with Brie ($21) - coconut mochi waffle, brie, housemade raspberry marmalade, raspberry, truffle honey dressing Everything was outstanding and high-quality all around. The ingredients were fresh and everything was plated and/or presented beautifully. This place is a well-oiled machine. If you've never had Sweet Maple's award-winning Millionaire's Bacon before, it's a must-try. And if you like Bloody Marys like me, their Millionaire's Mary is worth getting too. Just note it is legit spicy (and thick). Among the items listed above, my favorites were the Earl Grey Blueberry Croffle, the Korean Fried Chicken (they do it well), and the Coconut Moffle with Brie. However, your mileage may vary, so don't let that stop you from trying the other dishes (because I also loved the Blackstone Eggs Benedict and the Omurice). They just know how to make good food. Service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and attentive, including the hostess, manager, and servers. I'd describe the atmosphere as "California contemporary." The restaurant space is nice with both indoor and outdoor seating. As far as parking, we did metered parking on the street in front of nearby Caffe La Scala (N Main St).
