This is my first time to Corner Table and my meal is delicious ! I ordered the Crispy chicken with buffalo sauce (no bun, add lettuce) and it was so good! Finally tried the newest restaurant in the neighborhood. Really didn't let down! We arrived around 6PM with a party of 7 and seating was a cinch. Service was prompt and friendly. The menu is something else, they've got some regular American diner/grill staples but also it has a Korean and Islander spin. Use of Kimchi, Loco Moco and Bimbipmap are on the menu as well as flatbreads, pastas, salads and burgers. Out of my group everyone ordered something different and everyone thought their food was great. We'll certainly try their brunch soon enough. Ordered fried chicken sandwich which turned out to be buffalo style which I don't remember seeing in the description. Strawberry cruffle for the kid, a biscoff cruffle for dessert. My sister and friend got the fish and chips and they both really liked it. The cruffles were great. The chicken sandwich was ok I think if I knew it was buffalo I would have ordered something else. If there was one minor nitpick, I will say that it was a tiny bit oily for my taste, but otherwise great! The soup of the day (chickpea) was also equally delicious. One of my friends who came with me tried the strawberry croffle and loved it...and super recommends it. They weren't a huge fan of the chicken sandwich because the coleslaw in it tastes less like the Western style they're used to but stated that the chicken was super tender. Wow! We had no idea what to expect when we dropped by the Corner Table for lunch today, but we are so glad we did! We had the decadent wagyu beef loco moco and the ddeok-boki. The rice that came with the loco moco was so flavorful, and the ddeok-boki was so tender and fresh, with just the right balance of umami, sweet and spicy. On top of the yummy food, the staff are so warm and welcoming. We loved it so much, we brought our kids back the same day after school to try their boba. Their drinks were refreshing and not too sweet, which is just the way we like them. We will definitely be back. I'm ecstatic that this place opened in this neighborhood where good Korean fried chicken requires driving out to the next city! The menu is a mix of a lot of different kinds of food. I was a bit skeptical at first but the food I tried was great! They offer a strawberry milk which is my favorite and also very hard to find locally. I got the crispy chicken sandwich, Korean fried chicken, and the strawberry milk. My order was taken to go and all the food was still super tasty. Strawberry milk is hard to get right and I have tried many different ones and I really enjoyed how airy and smooth they make it here. Perfectly sweet and no sour strawberry bits that get in the way of your enjoyment. While I have very very high expectations for fried chicken sandwiches, this crispy chicken sandwich was fantastic! The buns are buttered and toasted so they don't get soggy from the coleslaw even after siting in the to go box for at least 30 min. The flavors of this sandwich are perfectly balanced The coleslaw was tasty and balanced by acidic notes of pickles and tabasco(?) sauce. The sandwich doesn't leak sauce all over your hands and here's a tiny kick but nothing that stays too long. The sandwich was quite big and I wasn't able to finish my food. I don't think I can fairly judge the Korean Fried Chicken because I didn't have it fresh out of the fryer. However, even when cooled it was really tasty! It reminded me of BB.Q Chicken but less salty. I got the k-sauce on the side and it was enjoyable, too. This definitely satisfied my fried chicken craving. I didn't have to drive too far either. The prices seemed really fair for the quality of the food and portion sizes, especially in this area. The service was really friendly too! I will definitely be going back to try the other items.
