Nash is great to work with - prompt to respond to questions, start work on time each day, fair in pricing, and does a good job. His team is good too and they work hard. The ONLY EXCEPTION is Mario - who wanted to get out each day as fast as possible while putting in the minimum amount of work (the rest of the team had to pick up his slack in order to get the job done). Nash is a nice guy but not a man of his word! He did a mediocre job on my house. Several of the items he worked on stopped working, the garage door he installed is hard to open and close and my porch peeled within the first week. There were several items he agreed to correct. We mutually agreed on a date and time and NASH failed to show up. I left several messages (text and voice). He has yet to respond. I wrote the Registrar Recorders office for information on Nash's DBA status. It is not registered which means there is no recourse to locate him. However, I will continue to pursue because it is the principle. In reading reviews after the fact, it seems Nash has a history of mediocre work and takes advantage of those he can. My advice, don't soy the final payment until you have thoroughly inspected his work or you will be like me.....paying double. read more

Nash came highly recommended from a good friend, for whom he completed several large projects in her private and property homes. I am very pleased to say she was 'spot on' with her high level of praise of Nash, Bobby, and his team. I've had three projects completed in the last 20 months and thoroughly researched/interviewed many contractors. Although the other work was fine, I wish I had met Nash sooner. In addition to completing excellent work at a very competitive price, the honesty, work ethic, timeliness, demeanour, and attitude ('yes' that's important to me) of Nash and his crew was a real blessing. Never before have we actually enjoyed having workers around so much. Our main project was completly gutting and renovating the master bathroom, but they also completed other tiling, popcorn ceiling, electrical, and plumbing work. They do it all. The six 'before and after' pics of our bathroom below speak volumes. Some neighbours and friends have come over to see the work, were very impressed, and requested his contact info. Nash and assistant painted my house and charged a lot of money and did a poor job. They painted over hinges and door knobs. Dripped paint all over the floors. I have called him on numerous occasions and he does not answer or return the calls. I knew that he did not have a license and took a chance with him but am very disappointed that he will not call back. Possibly out of business. read more

Cornerstone Handyman Services painted the fascia boards and trims around my house last summer 2015. By January 2016, the paint was already chipping on the front side of the house?? The quality of paint was poor after six to seven months?? I paid $1000 and expected better quality paint job! I called Nash, who is the owner, on three occasions from Jan-March 2016. No response to my calls to correct the paint job. I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism to call back. The business card touted "25 years of experience"? Not calling back or responding to calls tells me that they did a poor job, got paid for it, and not be accountable with the service they provided when problems arise. I chose them to do the work based on the good reviews I saw here initially, but no guarantee you will get a call back after work is done. There is no "prompt" response as other people reviewed here. I would rate them 3 stars for the paint job, but 1 star for lack of response when problems arise. read more

Nash and his crew came and did a quick door install and paint for my house. What stood out about them was they were prompt and came on time. I really appreciated that he came early and finished at a decent time. The guys worked hard and were very pleasant. Nash gave a fair price for the work and was able to squeeze me into the week and worked quickly. The doors turned out beautiful and Nash even came back another day to finish for me when an unexpected detail came up. They did good work and I was not disappointed. I recently had Nash and his crew remodel my garage. I was very pleased with the result and their professionalism. Nash gave me a timeline and stayed with it despite a couple days of bad weather. When I had them come for the estimate, I had an idea of what I wanted and what I had to spend on the project, The crew had great ideas that would make the finished product better than what I visioned at about the same costs. What I was most pleased with was the attention to detail, communication throughout the completion of the project, and flexibility through minor adjustments made during the job. I hired Nash Garcia and his partner Rick to repair termite damage on my vintage home and to rebuild an outdoor wooden staircase. After I received his estimate, I told him I wanted to get a few more because I thought it was quite high. Later he returned with another estimate that was $700 cheaper. I told him I still wanted more estimates. Half an hour later, he came down another $500.00. Since I was anxious to get started, I accepted his offer. He immediately asked for $3000.00 to buy supplies. I gave it to him. They dismantled the staircase efficiently and began rebuilding it the next day. He asked for more money to pay for the union framers. So I gave him that as well. Then they said they were finished and wanted the rest of the full payment. I am disabled and my son was not home, so I could not inspect their work. Nash complained and said he needed the money to pay his men, but I said I needed my son to view it first. My son found several gaps in the repair work, and the water heater had not been re-vented at all. They returned the next day and took care of the problems so I paid them. However, two days later the water heater was not working and the gas man red tagged it, because it was improperly vented. I called them and they said would be out to fix it properly, but they did not come for several days so I recalled them and threaten to give a bad review, and they said they would be right over. That was a month ago. So I got someone else to fix it. All the other work was great. read more
