Sophisticated casual elegance are three words that come to mind. Absolutely lovely creative cuisine. Service was outstanding and good was great. We shared the fish collar (not on the menu), crudite, duck egg with spinach and mushrooms, and house made nana with pumpkin butter. Dessert was the peach caramelized yogurt with marcona almonds. Dinner started with an amuse Bouche of start fruit treated with spices. The duck egg was cooked so that the interior was creamy and luscious, on top of a bed of mushrooms and spinach with a yuzu sauce. The crudite featured 4 vegetables, spicy cucumber, grilled peppers, and I think it was rutabega that reminded me of daikon. It was served with an herbed crème fraiche. Loved the fresh naan! The fish collar was cooked perfectly and topped with a salmon roe beurre blanc. Personally it didn't need it. Definitely going back and especially for the dessert. Celebrated Mother's Day early and truly enjoyed our meals. We had a half dozen oysters with tomatoes and horseradish, pork dumplings with rock shrimp, peach, 5-spice peanut, pasture chicken with fino sherry, carrots and scallops jus and tagliolini with sapelo clams. Came here with the wifey for a date night yesterday and it was amazing. Started off being greeted by the GM (I forgot his name but he was awesome) who works as one of the servers. He gave us a run down about the restaurant, the concept and inspiration, and what to expect during our dining experience. The chefs are the ones presenting and bringing the dishes out explaining what they created and how to enjoy them. We started off with some delicious sake before ordering our courses. The dishes/plates are nice sized shareable portions, kind of like tapas, but filling depending on the number of courses you order. We ordered the Grass-fed beef (tartare), Potato Naan, Spring onion fries, Duck egg, Eggplant agnolotti, Noodles, and the special they had Octopus. Each dish was prepared and presented beautifully and the flavor of each dish was phenomenal. By far the grass-fed beef (tartare w/ seaweed paper and rice to make your own hand roll) was the best tartare I have ever had and the noodles (ramen w/ squid ink pasta with a delicious spicy broth) were both of our favorite dishes. Very surprisingly the spring onion fries was another of our favorites. The batter with the onion and dipping sauce was so delicious together. Overall everything was amazing , the food was very delicious, and the ambience/service was top notch. This restaurant is not in a touristy spot, which is great! It offers small plates and limited menu. It's really not a bad thing. The menu had plenty to choose from. Was very excited to bring my mother in for her birthday but was unfortunately disappointed. Food was amazing and the team in the kitchen was top tier. The down side of our dinner was the service we got from the front of house. Server started out okay but quickly lost all interest in us. After getting one refill on our wine she decided polishing glassware was more important. We only saw her one more time the rest of the evening to finish the bottle for us. Otherwise the rest of her team picked up her slack. After finishing dinner and our wines we waited too long before her team mates again noticed her slack in service. They then finished service for her and the woman who created one of your mocktails was terrific. With my wife and I both coming from service industry we are normally very understanding when I come to busy services and most situations involving service but this was just lazy and unfortunate. No excuse for the poor service. Food and atmosphere were amazing but our server let us down. read more

Orlando's latest "order everything on the menu" place. There are no waiters or waitresses as the team of chefs double as your server, and wow are they polite and friendly. Not only was the food 10/10, but the cucumber mocktail I had was one of the best I have found! Full of flavor without being too sweet. Menu changes weekly so you always have a reason to go back. Service and food impeccable. A little noisy, but most trendy spots seem to be, and part of the building design. The menu is always changing, and 2 to 3 orders per person is just enough food for one couple. I definitely would recommend Coro to anyone. read more

Most fancy restaurants can achieve great flavors without relying too heavily on salt. I would give Coro 6 stars if I could. I cant believe I haven't heard of Coro before dining there last night. I found it when looking for a cute date night for my boyfriend and I. We always try to have unique date nights and avoid average dinner spots. Safe to say I won date night with this one. Each dish left my boyfriend and I wanting more. The flavor profiles were so immaculate. The service was great and I loved how intimate it felt being served by the chefs themselves. The host and bartender were also very sweet! Every dish was delicious- it's hard to pick a favorite but the pompano fish was quite possibly my favorite and the carrot dish was incredible. For dessert we ordered strawberry corn pine nut and the coffee potato vanilla. Both were outstanding! The servers work as a team and the pacing was perfect. Last night was my second time there and it was as amazing as the first time, if not better! My husband and I arrived at 6:00 to a full bar and a few occupied tables. I'm glad we had a reservation because by 6:30 it was really filling up. The decor is simple, definitely minimalist and be prepared for it to get loud as it fills up. The concept is one I've never seen or heard of where everyone, including the servers participate in cooking from time to time. The kitchen is open so you will see everything going on. The menu descriptions are also simple with items such as "Florida Fish" or "Prosciutto and Melon" to the point where nothing seems that special. Let me just say that EVERYTHING we've had there is OUTSTANDING and very special! The dishes (including the two I mentioned) are extremely creative, thoughtful and off the charts delicious. The "Florida Fish" is probably the best ceviche I've had and the "Prosciutto and Melon" is just heavenly! We also had the beets, the eggplant agnolotti and the sausage which was a special.
