Great shop. Nice staff. Bought a red ear slider turtle and a 10 gallon aquarium. Prices are good. Reptiles seem happy and healthy. I am happy with my purchase.

My Ball Python Dune, after boarding for several months.

I have had the best time talking with the staff, and have gotten feeders for my 5 snakes. When I got into some issues with housing and enlisting back into the navy they have been a joy boarding 4 of my snakes for months. I've never had a single complaint about care and all of my babies have been healthy and sociable. I'm glad they were here when I needed someone to care for my snakes, and will be boarding my last girl with them while I move out of state to my next duty station.

    Our new snake!

My son has been begging for a pet snake for some time now. He is a good kid and he helps with the pets and around the house, so it was time. We spent a good amount of time and effort researching what we wanted, which was a corn snake (initially). We came to Corona Reptiles & Kritters several times before finally getting our snake, which is a red tailed boa named Sid! The ladies here really know their stuff, and they absolutely love what they do. The passion they have for animals is very evident. After much discussion, they recommended a boa to us, and we couldn't be happier! We took him home and my son is absolutely obsessed! Any time I have had questions or concerns, the ladies at Corona Reptiles and Kritters has been there to answer them and help us with our new family member. We couldn't be happier, and we will be coming here for all of our reptile and pet needs!

They are awesome. The owner knows everything about tortoises, we got our leopard tortoises from him and he is still growing strong!

There are more products to choose from and all the reptiles I glanced through appeared well cared for. They also had several vivarium friendly plants displayed off to the side that were available for purchase, which gave it a nice touch.

Recently, one of our snakes passed away, and our other snake suddenly stopped eating. We were extremely worried. I called the shop and spoke with Anthony, the owner. Without hesitation, he told me to bring her in so he could take a look. As soon as we arrived, Anthony knew exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done. He took her in for rehabilitation for a week, and when I came back to pick her up, she was 100% better and back to her normal self. Anthony did all of this out of the kindness of his heart, and our family is incredibly grateful for his help and expertise. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares not only about reptiles but also about the families who love them. The shop is always clean, the staff is friendly, and the service is professional. If you're looking for a reptile store you can trust, this is the place. I can't recommend Anthony and his team highly enough.

PRO-TIP: Slight discount if you pay with cash!…read more A MUST for any reptile or exotics keeper in the area, especially if you own lizards! I visited here before, years ago, but this was before I kept lizards myself, and now coming back, I was delightfully surprised to see that they have upgraded immensely and modernized. Everything is super clean and sleek looking! Honestly very refreshing since, no offense, many other reptile stores are a bit more aged and cluttered. The set up of the enclosures are a delight to look at! Alright, I don't want to be a hater to the other reptile shops, but AT MOST, the fanciest thing you're going to see is MAYBE a uromastyx, but I was SO EXCITED to see the reptiles that they had here. Like, yes they have bearded dragons and geckos too, but it's not PILES of them and they have much fancier morphs. That black red monster beardie that they have is gorgeous. However, I got to see full grown, inquisitive ackie monitors, an Asian water monitor, Leachies that aren't over $1k, various tree monitors, a Baron's Racer, lovely fire skinks, Kimberly rock monitors, a Gidgee skink (NFS), etc. I have seen some of these ONLY at zoos, reptile shows, or the East Bay Vivarium in Berkeley (the oldest reptile store in the nation). So for the Basking Spot to have these species is a huge testament to the shop's dedication to the craft and hobby. I got my questions answered and I can see that the community loves shopping here. Proper husbandry and breeding practices (as you can see from the fire skinks they have, not the easiest to breed) and responsible ownership, we love to see it! ALSO, it is almost impossible for me to find wax worms, let alone silk worms in person as feeders for my lizards. Sometimes my local pet store has the wax worms and it's a hit and miss if I go to IE and can find silk worms. I GOT BOTH HERE! And the worker was nice enough to carefully pick them out so they weren't pupated yet, thank you! The shop is a bit farther for me, but I will come back 100%!!
