This is really a review for two different places. The Muse Bar (hotel lobby) and the hotel restaurant. The bar has daily happy hour and the food is a great value at $7. Everything is finished an upscale way. Wine selection is limited but they had a red, white and rose Prosecco. Staffed by two people with an older gentlemen playing a piano of classics, the vibe is busy but also chill. You can easily wash the day away for two hours. The Gala for breakfast has wonderful food. Indoor and outdoor seating, near the 7th floor pool. The buffet is standard fare with a few differences. We chose to eat from Menu as the $29 seemed a bit steep. Which is crazy because the dinner Caesar salad for $15 is large and delicious. So maybe it's finding the value in each menu - breakfast or dinner. The staff was a tad slow to get us started but then rallied with unstoppable service. From opening sauces and jams to pouring endless coffee. We enjoyed our side of bacon and English muffins. The whipped butter is a nice touch. Can recommend both the bar and the restaurant. aventura is positioned about a 40 minute Uber from downtown Miami and downtown FTL. A nice upscale area with lots of options. recommend and we will be back after our next cruise. read more

The restaurant is located inside of Hilton Aventura. I was lucky that I was staying there for work and got to go to this restaurant twice. Everything I had was absolutely DELICIOUS! you must try their octopus Carpaccio! It was cooked to perfection. Their drinks were also amazing as well. The Gala Burger might be the best burger I've had to date. The mix of Brie, caramelized onion jam, lettuce, and tomato was rich, balanced, and incredibly flavorful. The patty was about half a pound and juicy at medium well temp. We also ordered the octopus carpaccio. It came with a light sauce, some kind of potato for starch, and a smoked aromatic that seeped into the meat that pulled everything together. The flavor was impeccable. Service was pleasant and the ambiance was elegant. Drinks were impressive too. I had a creative spin on a guava sour that was smooth and easy to sip. My son had a passion fruit mocktail he practically gulped down. Definitely a place worth raving about. read more

Gala Muse Bar is a hidden gem in Aventura. Located inside the Hilton Aventura, this modern restaurant is truly a breath of fresh air featuring a gorgeous dining space, fabulous cocktail bar, and also an outdoor area. Let's start with the appetizers. The octopus was perfectly cooked, anticuho skewers were tender and the crab cakes were tasty. Even just the freshly baked bread was good. Of course, the cocktails were just as superb. We had the Effervescence, Chocolate Coconut Old Fashioned, and the Chile-Rita. There's so much more on the cocktail menu but let's move on to the entrees. We both shared the Crispy Skin Red Snapper and Dry Aged Rib Eye. Both were cooked to perfection and beautiful presentation. For dessert, we had Lava Cake and Homemade Flan. No surprise here, both were super flavorful and not too sweet. This place is a must if you're staying at the hotel or a local. Such a surprising discovery inside the Hilton Aventura. As always when we travel, my man just wants to crash in the room and not go on an adventure to find food...so of course, we end up at the hotel restaurant (nothing wrong with hotel restaurants, but sometimes when it's a brand name hotel, the food isn't always good). And this time...I'm so glad we did. A quick check on yelp and we were sold, again especially because we didn't have to leave the hotel. Rather than wander into the restaurant proper we opted to sit at the bar (it had an added benefit of people watching). As it was about 8pm by the time we sat down for dinner we opted for cocktails and entrees. He ordered the grilled salmon and I had the ceviche as my meal. The couple of bites of the salmon was delicious and I loved the chile morita jam. Like OMG delicious. And the cheviche...soooooooo good. I loved the tomato-habanero broth. So much so that I asked for a spoon. Yum! We also had breakfast the following morning and that was just as good. The avocado toast with the poached egg and added bacon. So good, definitely needed knife and fork to eat it. Sitting at the bar we were definitely well taken care of and for breakfast, while busy and we were slightly rushed, we were also well taken care of. Our servers were funny to chat with, prompt to take our order or refill coffee. Overall an great experience and welcome discovery on our way to our holiday Caribbean cruise. read more

I recently stayed at the Hilton Aventura where this restaurant is located. It is a nice hotel and i ordered room service there three times. I tried two different steak meals and ordered medium well. Both of them were tough. They also delivered food in paper containers, which threw me off since each other was between $80-$120. If staying there, you can try it but don't count on being impressed. It is not a place that I would venture to dine out. Portion sizes, outside of eggs, were also small. I ended up ordering from the food court at the nearby mall my final night so I could enjoy a meal. It is not a good sign because all of my tab at the hotel was being covered by the organization that I was in town to speak for. read more

To my wife for Mother's Day, and after being checked in, they had no cloth napkins. The omelet was the worse I ever had in my entire life. Other guests came and were given cloth napkins and after asking for cloth napkins we did not receive any. We had to keep asking the waiter to refill our glasses with water instead of them checking on a regular. read more

This place is located in a new hotel in Aventura and we came as my wife read fellow reviews on this place. This restaurant has good service and needs public to make the ambiance better, we were 1 of 3 tables on a Saturday night!! The chef is good, no question about this! We ordered the octopus that was good, the burrata that was also good and the ceviche which was actually very good.... I had the burger as some friends had told us portions are on the smaller side and thought we were going to be left hungry... the burger is average, this is were I think the chef needs to improve.... My wife had the fish a d told me it was quite good!!! The Cesar salad was ok, could improve as well! We could bring our own bottle of wine for a fee which is a must for me... I attended the NYE party. The service was great from the beginning. I contacted them before the event to ask some questions because I didn't know the place. They answered all my question by phone and text quickly. The hotel is need, modern and beautiful. The restaurant is pretty cool. The service that night was wonderful!! Somewhere in the kitchen is a person who wants to cook well. Crab cake: while well meaning the sweet chemical flavored disk underneath was gross. Octopus: good flavor, while the weird purée underneath was (you guessed it) sweet and didn't gel with the octopus. Short rib: the purple potato mash was too sweet (imagine!). and did nothing for the meat which was excellent. All dishes were served at inside A/C room temperature. The ambiance was lovely. On Saturday night the outside dining was mostly full while inside tables remained empty. If I was this hotel chain and a place was half empty in a large affluent city, I would take a hard look at the food, before the restaurant is forced to close. read more

I initially saw this restaurant on Miami Spice and was very excited to try it! It's kind of hidden on the 7th floor of the Hilton Hotel. It took us some time to find it because there's zero signs and for some reason the hotel was completely empty that night. But once we got there, we were seated immediately and told that they unfortunately are not serving Miami Spice. So we just sat down and ordered from the regular menu. We were one of the only 2 tables in the restaurant. It was very nice and quiet. The ambiance and service were both fantastic. The best part of my meal would definite be the tostones and the drink. The tostones are very pricey for the amount served. But they were delicious and I would come back for those again. The tuna and quinoa fried rice were also good. I realllllly enjoyed the quinoa fried rice. The chicken was probably my least favorite, it was extremely fatty and I ended up eating only a small portion of it. I love tres Leches and was super excited for the strawberry tres Leches. The presentation was beautiful, but it sadly did not taste as good as it looked. It seemed like it was store bought or canned, the tres Leches was very dry and not creamy. The strawberries were candied strawberries and not fresh and the jelly that coated the tres Leches was flavorless and thick. Besides the sad attempt at dessert, the meal was fine. We were surprised to find such a "quality" restaurant in a hotel. This is very unusual. The restaurant has been advertised as " latin american food" and I must say that it is a very delicate cosmopolitan menu. They present a well balance choice of dishes.
