I tried Cortaditos for the first time it was good. I had the Cortaditos a la Roca (Leche & Leche)--the sweet condensed milk gave the drink a perfect bittersweet balance. My friend enjoyed the cold brew, but we weren't fans of the pumpkin frozen drink .... it genuinely tasted mostly like cinnamon water. Service was fine, busy but friendly. Overall, a lively spot for a quick coffee, not really a sit-down/work kind of place.

I was here about 4 months ago and their service was good and attentive, the food was just as good. This time around there was nothing different great food, great people, and the place was toasty warm for the weather. The girl at the counter was on point so I have to upgrade them to 5 stars they deserve it! Strongly recommend them!

Cute little coffee shop. Almost every location has its Cuban twist, the one on Bergenline is one of the cutest locations thus far! As far as the coffee, it hits every single time. From the iced coffee to the cappuccino and of course the cafe con leche DELISH every time. I almost can never leave without getting a guava and cheese empanada, I would say this does vary from place to place. The north bergen location has to have the best empanadas out of all of them. Service at both locations is amazing, the staff is always friendly and so sweet. Cannot go in any one of them without a smile. So, if you do have to try one of the locations, deff recommend the one located on the Bergenline!

Love this cafe! Every time I am in the area, this is one of my go to places to grab a cup of cuban coffee. They have a large selection of iced & hot coffees; their espressos and cappuccinos are always done perfectly! They also serve teas, Mojito Limonadas (which are delicious), pastries, and classic sandwiches (their Vegano Cubano and Cubano Clasico are my favorite). The staff are always wonderful and the decor provides a sense of comfort and sophistication. Parking can be a little challenging since it's located on the Main Street but this place is definitely a must try!

Yessssss. Delicious authentic Cuban food is what my heart craves whenever I visit Hudson county. I had the pan con bistec which was soooo good. Their croquetas are half the size of normal ones and so delicious. Pastelito de guava y queso YUM. This place is great and I will come whenever I'm in the area. I devoured my food before I realized I forgot to take a picture. ITS THAT GOOD

Sweets & Cortaditos NEVER disappoints. Their ham croquettes are large, flavorful, and always bring back fond memories of when I used to share them with my parents and In-laws. Their mamey shakes are sooooooo good, too! The attendants are always friendly, courteous, and kindly answer every question they're asked. Thank you, Sweets & Cortaditos, for your great products and professionalism.

An amazing transformation on this local spot. What was before Sweet Cortaditos, took a rebranding to Cortaditos and it's better than ever. The staff is great, the environment is awesome and the ventanitas which are always my favorite just make it that much better. I always go and get a Cortadito Mulato doble, my go to.

This place is sort of meh. The coffee is mediocre and the pastries are good, but not like amazing. Cute vibe though, I can totally see this be a cute date spot. Clean restroom too:)

Shout out always to Will - manages this place with the utmost service and care for its customers. Food: 1. Huevos rancheros with chorizos 2. Crispy bird chicken sandwich The eggs and verde [green] sauce was fantastic. The chorizos were not salty or oily - just perfect. My wife loved her Burger. Inside is multiple chicken tender pieces and the flavor was fantastic. We felt fulfilled - with leftovers - satisfied beyond doubt - and not bloated. The last three times I've ordered. 1st time- I ordered on Uber eats, an egg and cheese sandwich and they sent it brick cold. I'm not sure why whoever was working would think to not warm up the sandwich. Made no sense. 2nd attempt- I ordered the same egg and cheese sandwich and it was drier than cardboard. I've been getting this sandwich for years. I'm not sure if they forgot to put butter on it but the sandwich is typically never dry. Not sure what happened there. 3rd attempt- At store. The new employees seemed frazzled and you need to repeat your order to them about 10 times because they keep forgetting what you just told them one minute ago. I love this place and I'm only giving this review so that it doesn't go downhill. There are a lot of new cafés opening up in the area and I would hate for them to be left in the dust. The owner is very kind and cares about her customers, so I know she will care about this review and do something about it.

The owner made me a latte with a double shot, sweetened with maple syrup and that was one of the best lattes I have had in a long time (wish the cup was slightly larger) haha. I went in that day hoping to get the kimbap, but they only have that on Saturdays. What did I do? Head back on Saturday morning for two orders of kimbap. And guess what? It was my first time even having it, but I knew from photos I needed to have it and would really enjoy it. The first day I went, I had the croissant bulgogi sandwich that has bulgogi, eggs, arugula, chili spread and then it's pressed! It is very good! Paired with my perfect latte and I was for sure going back the next day! The next day, my latte (still the same order) was not the best, but I am aware that it is really in the hands of the barista haha! I got the bulgogi kimbap and the tuna kimbap and it was really good! The sauce that is paired with them was great. I liked the bulgogi kimbap much better, but I am glad I was able to try two different kinds as my first experience. I was feeling a bit under the weather and needed a good coffee to soothe me and give me some energy. My Latte w Lavender Syrup was so delicious and well made. The espresso was pulled well, it was creamy, and balanced overall. Luckily, we came on a Saturday and were able to try their Saturday special - Kimbap! We got the Bulgogi Kimbap which was made fresh with an assortment of traditional ingredients from vegetables to egg to carrots to pickled radish and more. It was served with their house-made soy sauce which was lighter and more fragrant, almost like a vinaigrette. It was savory, tangy, and grew on me with each bite. I usually have this with gochujang or a spicy mayo sauce but this was refreshing. All in all, great try! I will absolutely be back.

The interior features a chic aesthetic with heavy rose gold accents that give it a high end feel (women will love this place). While the atmosphere is great, seating is limited so you should be prepared to wait for a spot especially if you visit on the weekend. I usually expect these Instagram or TikTok viral cafes to be all style and no substance but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the brew. I have visited three times now and the espresso is consistently excellent. Whoever is pulling the shots knows exactly what they are doing because the coffee is never burnt and tastes incredible even when ordered black as an espresso or Americano. On this visit I tried the Pistachio Latte with reduced sweetness and it was delicious. The pistachio flavor tasted authentic rather than synthetic and it melded perfectly with the coffee. My sister absolutely loved the Rose Matcha, which is the same drink my fiancee enjoyed on a previous visit. Even my mom was glowing about her Cappuccino which is a rare treat since she is notoriously hard to please. For our meal we ordered the Caprese Chicken Crepe and the Chipotle Chicken Melt. The crepe was a hit with my mom and sister and the portion size was just right. The Chipotle sandwich had great flavor though it was definitely on the greasy side. You will want a stack of napkins ready if you order it but it was still a solid sandwich overall. On a previous visit, we tried the Tres Leches which unfortunately did not live up to the rest of the experience. It tasted bland a bit like a boxed cake and I was not a fan, I might try the Tiramisu on my next trip instead. Despite the dessert miss the staff here is super friendly and sweet. They never make you feel rushed and take the time to explain the menu options thoroughly. If you're in the area and need a high quality cup of coffee Haute Dulce is a fantastic spot that will actually satisfy your expectations.

For iced drinks, I had the pistachio latte and tiramisu latte. I preferred the pistachio latte as the tiramisu latte had a lot of cold foam, which was tasty, but meant there was less of the latte. For hot drinks, I had a flat white, which wasn't the best one I've had but it was pretty good. For food, I tried the buffalo chicken crepe which was flavorful with a good amount of filling. I would try more of their food were I to visit again. The main reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because even by today's standards, I think the drinks are overpriced. The lattes are at least $8 and only come in one size that isn't especially large. The food seemed more reasonably prices from what I recall.
