No vacuuming, this is a leaf skimmer service only. In the last ten years the ONLY time I ever had mold in the pool, growth at the waterline was after hiring this company for the last 6 months. Long on excuses, long on extra charges for services that never materialize, short on the one thing I hired them for - a clean pool. Dan, you list all the reasons I hired a pool service in the first place. After multiple conversations, one of us had to change. In response to your request to remove my post - I have to point out the purpose of YELP, it is to provide honest truthful reviews. I stand behind my review - that is what it is. It is truthful, and honest. Hopefully my experience is the exception, in which case you have nothing to worry about. However, you might consider that my review is prophetic and make some changes. Regardless, this post will be helpful to others looking for a pool service. This is an example - I had you service my pool 6 months, you charged me $200 for a chlorine wash in March (With my approval - it was to start the season fresh, you said). Yet here we are a month later - and this is what my pool looks like AFTER being serviced by Corwin. When I contacted you I was told to let the chlorine work. (For how long? It didn't change until I took over!) We are done Dan, I feel taken advantage of whether you believe it is true or not. I trusted you to care for my pool, making things easier for me. Sorry to say their service was not good. Dan was friendly and seemed in a hurry with his quote to be on his way. The service person who came out 3 times really seemed upset that the company had assigned her to my account because I had a fiberglass pool which she knew very little about. She said she had never serviced one before and had to call another coworker for advice. After her third trip the pool was full of black algae and needed to be treated. Dan had recommended the pool be drained which we did but his pump stopped working a couple of times because it was so well worn at that it required to be replugged several times. his billing was a problem because I was billed for service that was not done. He called and wanted to know why the check was short of his billed amount and I had to explain it although he and his services person had told me to short it. Overall a bad first experience for a new pool owner in Las Vegas. read more

Why I am leaving a 1 star review is that I asked Dan for a refund for the last two weeks of September service and I never received it. He said he would send it - never got it.
