Cosh is a little oasis hidden off the main drag of Burlingame Ave. the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable and the space feels very clean and inviting. The spa with Cosh was a wonderfully luxurious and delightful experience!! The space inside is so beautifully finished (very restoration hardware) and smells amazing. The attention to detail was also a pleasant touch that puts Cosh above and beyond other similar spas- such as giving you a weighted blanket during the spa treatment. I went with my boyfriend and the main room only fits two people so it felt like a private service for us which was really nice. The technicians are also very knowledgeable and so friendly. This was my first time going to Cosh Head Spa for a scalp treatment and facial. I was greeted by Bella and she was very accommodating and nice. She would offer water or tea to drink and a warm wet towel to wipe your hands or face. Ping was the person who did the scalp treatment and facial. She did a great job and the massage was just wonderful! I will definitely ask for her in the future. The whole experience was luxurious and relaxing. It's just what I needed. When you enter you are immediately transported to a calm place. Check-in was easy and Norm the owner is so friendly. Informative, knowledgeable, kind, all the things you are looking for in bedside manners when you are talking about a sensitive subject like your scalp. The service was beautiful. I want more lol. I started with the first level package as this was my first time doing it but in about a month I'll book my next appointment and splurge on the detox package along with a private room. Don't even know where to start! My son and DIL got me a gift card here a while back. I kept putting off using it because I live over an hour away. Finally bit the bullet and decide to start my birthday off with a visit here. WHO KNEW????? HOW HAVE I NOT DONE THIS BEFORE? This was an amazing treat! I booked the Natural treatment in a private room. My technician was Donna and she was wonderful. The treatment started with her analyzing my scalp with a zoom lens, which is kind of.... eewww... looking THAT up close to your scalp is freaky. But she explained everything we were looking at, then she went over everything the treatment entailed. Feet up, wrapped in a warm weighted blanket the bliss began! Washing, conditioning, massaging and repeat. After all the goodness and a rough dry, Donna once again did a zoom in of my scalp - what a difference! When I left I was on another planet! Overall experience was good and informative. The staff were really nice. I do think they need to do better with confidential information. I did not like that my information that I completed on the form was out in the open on the mirrors for others to see (I.e. DOB, heath issues that may have been marked). The second thing was that a staff member blurted out something that was confidential on my form during checkout and my colleague heard. Norm was so helpful and welcoming from the jump when booking appointments and so informative. He helped me book appointments for both my sister and myself The salon itself is small but very intentionally planned. I felt immediately relaxed upon entering. Marcela was the associate who helped me and she was friendly, and so so good at the treatment. I got the Detox treatment and wow does my scalp feel rejuvenated. My hair has also never felt healthier!
