Norm was very informative in his clinical knowledge during the initial scalp analysis - per him, I have a healthy scalp with no scalp/hair concerns - i wasn't looking for any specific tips/instruction on scalp care or treatment, moreso enjoying the innovative experience. Clients with psoriasis/hair thinning or loss can benefit from their services. Cosh's French plant based Furterer products look to be highly reviewed with no parabens/sulfates. They focus on more holistic, lifestyle changes to your hair/scalp routine - for example, we discussed how to train my hair to reduce the frequency of daily shampoo-ing. Head/neck/hand/arm massage by Sarah was awesome and so relaxing. Followed by a very through shampoo and drying. I can't say enough good things about Norm and the team at Cosh! It started with a very responsive and friendly text exchange with owner Norm who was communicative and prompt when I was setting up appointments for 3 and then 4 and then 3 girls. He was very patient and accommodated our requests and booking times. We hit a snag when one of our appointments was moved to an earlier time but that's the thing about really good service--you forgive the minor inconvenience because the overall experience is stellar. My one friend arrived late and Terri at the front said, 'There are no schedules on spa day' which is the best thing I've heard in a long time. For someone who lives and dies by the Outlook calendar everyday, her vibe was the equivalent of Xanax for me. Norm was knowledgeable and so was my hair specialist. I don't remember her name because I was shown pictures of my scalp, given information on what I needed to do to promote hair growth and received the best head massage of my life. I love that they didn't try to sell us products and just let us enjoy their expert, professional and warm service. Overall, I had a fantastic experience. The staff, service, and treatment were absolutely phenomenal and there is no doubt that I will be going back. Generally speaking, while this is my first scalp massage, I did significant research on the prices and I think the prices offered at Cosh spa are more than reasonable (especially for the experience they provide). I was greeted by Norm, CEO/owner of Cosh spa who kindly offered me tea/water as I waited for my treatment (I arrived 40 minutes early so waiting was expected). I received my treatment from Nicky, who was absolutely incredible, and I think even the word 'incredible' is an understatement. Nicky took extra time to carefully explain the health of my scalp and made sure I had a clear understanding of everything that was going on. She explained to me the various treatments she was performing on my scalp and periodically checked throughout the session to confirm I felt comfortable. It was clear her knowledge of hair health and I felt comfortable in her confidence. Norm was equally as amazing, and it was clear he was very passionate about hair and scalp hair. It's so tranquil in here--you step inside and can't believe how lovely and calming it is. I've been hoping for an experience like this near SF! I was so impressed by the level of care, the quality of the amenities, and the warm and personable approach by the entire Cosh staff. I loved details like the jade eye mask, the AI camera that shows you exactly what's going on on your scalp, the luxurious jasmine steam experience, and every aspect of the massage, which went far beyond head and neck and even helped with arm and wrist discomfort and tension from looking at screens all day. I walked away learning a lot about my scalp health and feeling like I knew more about how to nourish my hair and encourage growth. Cosh is exactly what I was hoping for. I absolutely love Cosh! First off I found their website and booking an appointment super easy. Everything was laid out with prices. You can even choose your provider and add any extras if interested. I treated myself to a birthday head spa with Ambrea. I found her extremely knowledgeable about my hair/scalp conditions and even catered my care to the fact that I was 5 months pregnant (due to questionnaire I filled out prior to our appointment.) I love that even the owner Norm came out to greet me. I found the whole experience calm and relaxing. I really enjoyed the head/scalp massage. And I felt like my scalp was super clean and my hair super soft after the whole experience. lol just a heads up, they don't style your hair afterwards, but it stated on the appointment they do a rough dry. Didn't matter, just needed to fix my bangs a different way when I got home. Looking forward to turning this into a quartly self care thing. :) read more

What an amazing concept! I am new to head spa services, although I always love a good massage, facial or mani-pedi. I would compare this experience to to the relaxation of a great massage-but it's for your head! The salon is beautifully designed, with a very relaxed/relaxing vibe. The staff is professional and friendly, and oh, so soothing. The chairs-heavenly! I appreciated the scalp health review, but the very best part was the seemingly endless scalp treatment-from warm oil, to shampoo/massage to conditioning and still more massage. This will be a very fun place to go with a girlfriend (or two). I will definitely be back, and plan to try more treatments in the future. read more

I chose the Rejuvenate experience because it was recommended for those experiencing hair loss, thinning and wanting to grow a thicker, fuller head of hair. There's an intake form you can fill out online or in person where I shared my goal of more hair growth and the background behind it. The owner, Norm, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about this business and how scalp-care is relevant to overall well-being. I learned about the products they use, Furterer, a Parisian brand, that believes in healthy hair starts from the scalp. The service itself was very relaxing and luxurious. I worked with Julie and she was also very knowledgeable and offered recommendations for me in my pursuit of hair growth. Rejuvenation included scalp analysis, a relaxing head massage, shampoo, conditioning or masking, Gua sha treatment, scalp exfoliation, scalp soothing concentrate, red light therapy and a re-analysis to ensure optimal results. I loved the details from the cool towel before the service started, the heated eye mask while I received the treatment (I had the option for a cool eye mask but opted for heat), I also receive a complimentary hand massage.
