Had the best time at Cosmic Claw with my partner! I kept seeing tik toks of this establishment so I had to go! It's a small arcade with around 25-30 claw machines for stuffed animals, blind boxes, and gatcha capsules in the back. The staff are friendly and attentive in interacting with kids and helped us by resetting the machine after we failed a few attempts. We won a plushies so we were definitely happy. They have a paid membership for $20 so you can get extra tokens. You can pay cash via a kiosk or pay card with a staff member. Brought home two capybaras!

We decided to stop by this place because we knew it just opened a few weeks ago. I saw that it was being built awhile ago and anticipated it's opening. It's neat to have a place like this in out town. It's in a small strip mall and has parking since it's next to a small bakery and restaurant. I wish it had a lighted sign out front since we drove up and it was dark in the lot. It looked closed. You could only see light from inside the front door We went inside and were greeted right away from the guy behind the counter. He said if we had any questions to just ask. We were taking pictures and taking it all in. It was decorated with space men and New Years decorations. Kind of neat. The claw machines were all in the middle of the place and Gotcha machines in the back. It was really neat. They gave us member prices on our tokens. The machines all take tokens and not real money. There was a machine to do change but the guy said he could exchange the money for tokens at the front desk. He gave us a membership deal. We got 16 tokens for ten bucks. My wife and I went around trying some of the machines. There were two other staff members walking around to help you. If you couldn't win a stuffed animal. They would open up the machine to help you get it easier. We tried a few times and my wife finally got one. It was satisfying. Thanks to the staff member to help us out. We at least won something. The claws seemed pretty strong grip compared to other machines I have used at other locations. Most machines took 2 tokens to play. It was nice to try but some of the prices seemed high for what you got especially for the Gotcha, (Gashapon) machines in the back. There were no Anime toys worth lots in any of the machines. I think having those really hard to get items would make the place much better. At this point I don't see going back more times. The amount of machines is also lacking. Maybe put some more challenging type machines or something to challenge two people at once. Still this is a unique place to be here in Elk Grove. Worth a look for sure.

Had so much fun at cosmic claw this weekend! There were claw machines with diff toy sizes as well at gachas in the back. You can save up your winnings and trade them for bigger prizes and blind boxes. There was a photobooth in the back that took tokens as well. The staff members were really nice and attentive. They adjusted the position of the toys in the claw when my friends and I struggled. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves and ended up with quite the haul! Can't wait to come back again!

Great place to do a little activity! They have a decent amount of claw machines and gashapons! Round1 probably has more of a variety of claw machines, but I haven't seen any place with as many gashapons as this place. The staff is super friendly and personable! They want you to win a prize and will help you, without doing it themselves haha Prices for playing were decent. 20 dollars for 30ish tokens. Each play is dependent, but minimum 4 tokens from what i have seen. If you're a member you get better deals and of course if you spend more money the ratio of tokens is better. The place is at the edge of town, so it is kind of far, but it really is the only place I can think of in Elk Grove with this kind of activity. They constantly update their IG page with new plushies or gashapons and are quick to listening to feedback. Give this place a try!

    Some of the goods

I saw this place on IG, brought my daughter in to play, and we walked away w/ a grip of stuffed animals, keychains, and a squishy buttered roll (which smells just like butter!). The claws are a little loosy goosy BUT they have multiple staff (4 while we were there) who offer help while observing when folks can't get their desired prize; they open the box & take great care to reposition it for you in a way that's almost surefire to obtain. There's a big variety of games & prizes there, too, despite the space being one room of around 700 sq ft- some machines rely on grabbing a plush "earth" from the floor, then choosing a prize from the wall behind it, which was surprisingly very fun; staff gave us a solid "tip" on how to clutch the earth because as with the others, it wasn't an immediate grab. Keep in mind, the place is a business that needs to make money to pay their rent & staff, so expecting to go in & win with every attempt isn't feasible. Their machines use tokens which you buy for quarters at a smaller ratio (7 tokens for $5, 32 for $20, 80 for $50, I forget how much for 100 tokens lol. They give you a few extra tokens free if it's your first time in- some machines use 1 token (not many of them), some 2 (about 40% of them, & with very decent prizes), some 3, some 4 (about 50% of them, and those have the best prizes). The Labubu machine may be the hardest I played, actually any of the 2 or 3 machines that rely on picking up an actual box. It can be a rigorous journey if you get invested in winning on one of the box machines, my friend, because you must keep it in your claw long enough to reach the promised land of the drop zone. Something I thought was really cool was, they also have a wall behind the register which you can trade in your machine-gotten-goodies for larger prizes, with each of your prizes amounting to a different number of "stars"- though not all prizes have star value, MOST of them do- so you discern which big prize/s you'd prefer based on the stars your smaller prizes are worth. For instance, my daughter traded a graduating hello kitty & a graduating capybara for a large capybara on vacation. They have some pretty big prizes up there and even some vinyl, for the right amount of stars. Lastly, there's a huge machine in the island area of the room towards the back which is a "string cutter," but which has an enormous stuffed creature in it (hanging from the string you're tasked with cutting)- we didn't try this bad boy but we saw a few different groups try it & right before we headed out, a crowd in the back roared with success- someone successfully cut the string & liberated a giant anime dragon - after I'd say about 20 minutes of focused attempts & an unknown amount of tokens. The dragon was very cool, though, and I hope it's there again next time so I can make my move and show it the world from outside the glass. You may reflexively weigh the prizes you walk away with against the money you spent on tokens, but beware: this rad little "clawcade" isn't just providing stuffed prizes, keychains, and scented faux baked goods- it provides you with memories with your kids, your friends, and yourself, which is difficult if not impossible to price out, and they care enough to have multiple staff at all times to help you get the goods you're eyeing. So go support EG's Cosmic Claw, it's a good time, all of the workers were very kind, and everyone around us was having a blast right along with us - especially the group who saved the dragon ...

Saw the word "arcade" and I personally hoped for more games and not just claw games... but that's ok. It's a lot packed into a small space. The staff was great - thank you Damien for welcoming us in. As first time guests we got a perk with a few extra tokens with our $20 purchase. If you communicate with the staff that you tried a couple times to win a prize they'll open up the game and reposition the prize to help you out. It was a fast $20 spent but we had some good laughs. We walked out with a few stuffys and a quick family memory. (Many games were just 1-2 tokens) The place was super clean. I only deduct one star because there was some machines in the back that were empty- not sure why. I meant to ask but was distracted by trying to win a prize :-)

We came here on a Sunday night. They are only opened on the weekends. I think the hours are from 1 pm to 8:30 pm. The place wasn't busy on Sunday. The place was small. They didn't have a whole lot of prizes in the machines. Some were empty. They offer a membership and you can buy tokens al la carte. They have a person patrolling the floor to offer help for players. She would give you tips and try make it easier for you to catch the prize. It's nice of them to do that. The place is pretty cool. It was fun. We didn't spend a whole lot of time there, a lot of the machines didn't have much.

So cool a claw arcade opened up in the area! It's smaller than I thought but still plenty of fun. The workers are super friendly and helpful. Quick to help you redeem prizes or rearrange the prizes to better positions for you! We came in mid day Saturday and it was busy but not packed. Lots of cute prizes and the claws aren't too weak so yo have a good chance of winning! The membership is $20 for a lifetime membership and you get more coins for each tier. Could be worth it if you plan on visiting a lot!

Found this place on TikTok, saw nothing but good reviews so I was excited to stop by. We visited around 6PM on Saturday for my birthday. It's a small but lively arcade! Employees were very nice and prices are reasonable. They have quite a few different machines that range from snacks, stuffed animals, blind boxes, and also have a photo booth and gashapon machines in the back. We paid $20 for 32 tokens but the employee gave us 36 as a new visiter gift (they also offer a membership as well). You can also ask the employees to rearrange whatever prize you're trying to win and they'll gladly do it for you. We had lots of fun and the other customers were also very friendly, everyone cheers whenever you win a big prize. You can trade in certain wins for bigger prizes upfront as well. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely come back again in the future :)

Was lucky enough to snag one of the soft opening reservations. Had a blast here! They have a good amount of claw machines on the main floor filled with different character plushie/blind boxes like pokemon, Sanrio, labubu, smiskis, miffy, nailong, etc. I only played on the plushie machines and the cost ranged from 2-3 tokens a play. They have a trade counter at the front too where you can trade in your prizes for something else. The gachapon hall had a good variety of different things too. I got the mini gachapon machine and it was super cool. They all varied in token prices. There is also a photobooth, I didn't use it but it took tokens as well. Staff is super nice and helpful if you need to readjust prizes if the claw is out of reach/hard to get. Overall a fun addition to EG and can't wait to come back!

If you like collecting plushies, definitely check out Elk Grove's newest and first ever claw arcade. They're only taking reservations at the moment but are planning to officially open soon. The store is small but there's a solid selection of machines so you won't have to wait too long. The astronomy-themed interior is mesmerizing. You can tell a lot of time and care went into curating this store. The employees are so attentive and want to help you -- don't be afraid to ask them to adjust the position of the stuffed animals. They offered to help us a lot when we were struggling which was nice of them. The claw machines reward you on persistence, so you'll need to fail a couple times before payout. I love the variety of prizes offered here; there's labubus, Sonny angels, smiskis, sanrio, pokemon, and more to win. If you have enough plushies, you can even trade them in for a larger plush or other prizes. We swapped our smaller prizes for a bigger Nailong plush, but we also had the opportunity to choose from different vinyl records, which is pretty good value.

We decided to give this place a try. Overall it was a solid choice of entertainment for the evening. But I took a few stars away for the following reasons: 1. Cleanliness could be better. I sure hope they sanitize regularly. Might I even suggest hand sanitizer available and trash cans throughout the course. 2. The putting green where you place the ball at the start of each hole we're loose and spinning or completely detached on many of the holes. It made it difficult to hit the ball without making it move and fumble. These need to get repaired

Along with our meals, we did the Eat & Play deal - we did 1 with the $35 Power Card and 1 with the Unlimited Game Play for 90 minutes which was definitely worth it. 90 minutes is plenty of time, but the tickets max out at 1500 which is the only downsize. Our family also loved the Cotton Candy machine - they were works of art for only $7! Overall, we had a great time, but the Prize Center sucks and is one big pyramid scheme like most arcades.
