Service is ALRIGHT! Beware of the corn in a cup - it is some of the worst I have had. I was given corn that was barely edible (very hard/over cooked). Stay far from it. I only came for the corn in a cup only and based on that I am doubtful that I would come back or recommend this place to anyone. Also, the tacos are pricy for single tacos. Once again, East Austin has a very unique vibe. The combination of tacos and an eclectic choice of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) what could go wrong? Great vibe depending on the time you go. Took the metro rail into downtown and spotted this place out the window. Decided to check it out before heading back north. The place looks very chill. Lots of people working on their lap tops. Not much indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor seating. Pet friendly for sure. Drink menu was a good size and the two drinks we had where pretty good. Taco shop in the second building. This is the downfall. Some of the worst tacos I've had in Austin. Steak has no flavor. Al pastor looked like shredded chicken with some pineapple mixed in. The carnitas was an the best of the three and it was just ok. All came on Fiesta tortillas. The queso fries were the best thing we ate. I would come again for the location and drinks. But not to eat when you have so many better choices within walking distance. 3 star because of the food. They have to get some better tacos. read more

Ive been visiting the OG Cosmic for over 3 years and absolutely love that location. Always plenty of space to sit with great nature vibes. Food trucks are amazing and pretty fast to get coffee or drinks. Any day of the week. Would say it's one of my favs in austin. This new location is really nice but has some flaws. Mexican food is overpriced and quality is good... not great. They absolutely need more shaded areas to sit. This place fills in super fast all hours of the day and it's a struggle to get a shaded spot. Internet can be slow when place is busy. Lastly, the music is stupid loud all hours of the day. Makes sense to turn volume up later in the day but why at 10am. Good luck taking a work call. Hope management can make some minor changes to really make this place great. read more

LOVE this spot! Great that it has both caffeinated daytime drinks and nighttime beverages. The rooftop has a lovely view of downtown. Great place for a group meetup or casual night out. Beautiful laid back garden area with nooks and corners to get some privacy. read more

Been here quite a few times for coffee and drinks. Servers always friendly. I will not be going back for the coffee. Over the past couple months the coffee has been terrible, so much so yesterday that my friend and I took one sip each of our coffee drinks, went and bought two double espresso shots to add to each and still no coffee flavor and the milk was off. What a waste of money and a 20% tip on top. The bar staff interchange making the coffees. They need to be trained up on the coffee drinks and if they are then it's just sloppiness and that's a waste of my time, money and a 30 min drive. We also had bar drinks prior to the coffee and they are great, but not going back just for coffee and to hang out. I'll spend my money where I know the coffee is consistently great and no it's not at the huge corporate coffee shop, although they do make their drinks consistently the same, every single time so you know what to expect. read more

Great new spot in East Austin. Guy at the register said it's been open about a month. We sat outside at the picnic tables and enjoyed the trees and sunshine. Staff was friendly. The breakfast tacos were disappointing. The ingredients were fresh but the potatoes weren't browned at all and the vegetarian chorizo was bland. The coffee was weak. We'll try again after they've been open for a while. read more

This new Cosmic location is stunning. They've done a great job repurposing existing structures and incorporating green landscaping. The (nighttime) drink menu is interesting and the drinks we had were good. All of that said, steer very clear of the tacos. I had low expectations and unfortunately I was still surprised by how bad these tacos were. Tortillas were store bought (and not from HEB) - I tried both flour and corn. As insult to injury, the actual taco fillings might have been worse than the tortillas. I tried the Al pastor and steak. They both lacked flavor and genuinely tasted like buffet tacos I've had at corporate conferences in the NE. Please let Pueblo Viejo or any semi local taco establishment take over the kitchen. With a decent food offering (maybe it shouldn't be tacos) this place will be unstoppable. read more

This place is so visually stimulating that you just have to go. The aesthetic is beautiful. They have food, coffee, beer, other artisan drinks and multiple little hangout scenarios. Even if this place didn't serve anything, I'd still recommend that you go and check it out. I'm not sure if they host weddings or events, but this would be an amazing space to do so. read more
